I love coming to this yard house for their happy hour Mon-Fri 3-6pm. The servers are always the sweetest! I alwaysss get the poke nachos, brussel sprouts, and chicken tenders! Great happy hour :3 !!
Delicious! 20oz Bone-in Ribeye (Well Done ) with side of sweet potato fries ,and broccoli 10/10 Everything was so fresh and done well . Outstanding 8oz Filet Mignon cooked (well done) side order of smashed potatoes, and asparagus. Delicious meal 10/10 Strawberry lemonade for the drink 5/5 Coke as well Great customer service, very positive and helpful staff , love the energy. More people like that is always needed in places like this . 5/5 Clean environment, nice and bright and well designed inside great setting . Definitely recommended Friends and family to have a dinner out Will be back soon
This was our first time at the Pasadena location. Looks like they are reviving The Paseo. We just before 5 and the place i was hopping. We had zero wait for our party of 5. This was our first time trying the happy hour menu and OH BOY! our faves was the Poke nachos, sliders, Pep pizza, wings and Brussels sprouts. The price is right but it was the service that took it over the top. Ashley and Jonah were the absolute BEST. They validate for the first 90 minutes. We're returning real soon.
Just had a nice lunch here with a friend from out of town. I had the poke salad, and while it was tasty, it's not filling (especially for a $24 price point), so just be aware of that if you're starving like I was lol. It was on the salad menu, but saying the toppings were on a bed of lettuce would be giving the dish too much credit. It was more like a handful of lettuce underneath and that was it. My GF got the ahi salad off the salad menu and hers looked like an actual salad with plentiful lettuce. Only reason for the 4/5 is all of this! I tried one of the 7% "sour" beers on tap, not sure what to expect. I thought maybe sour meant kombucha-like aftertaste. It was KIND OF like that, but in a good way, not in a vinegar tasting way. It was actually really good, so def recommend trying a sour beer if you haven't before. It had the perf amount of sweetness. I find many cider beers to be too sweet for me, so was worried about that as well, but it was perf on sweetness level.
Yard House Happy Hour is a go-to, but the real hack? Reserve ahead. I booked a table online while my girlfriend and I were en route, and it paid off, we walked past a growing wait, checked in, and were seated within 5 minutes. Peak efficiency. We went all in on Happy Hour: Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds, Classic Sliders with fries, and the Spinach Artichoke Dip. The lineup is clearly built for sharing, and for the price point, it delivers. The cheese curds were a standout, crispy on the outside, gooey inside, while the sliders did exactly what you want them to do. The spinach dip was solid and one of our favorites on the Happy Hour menu. From the regular menu, we added the Spicy Jambalaya and 10 Crispy Traditional Wings (Buffalo + Lemon Pepper dry rub). The wings were the better play here, crispy, flavorful, and well-sauced. The jambalaya had good heat, especially alongside everything else. Service can make or break a busy Happy Hour, and Kat absolutely held it down. She struck that perfect balance, attentive without hovering, quick with check-ins, and helpful when we had questions. It felt dialed in, which isn't always a given during peak hours. The vibe is classic Yard House: high-energy but still versatile. You've got sports fans locked into the TVs, date nights in the mix, and groups celebrating, it somehow all works without feeling chaotic. Is it groundbreaking? No. But that's not really the point. Yard House knows its lane and executes it well. If you time it right and come for Happy Hour, you're getting solid value, dependable food, and a lively atmosphere. Would I come back? For Happy Hour, easily!
This review is for the service. The food was great, as per usual, and I consider Yard House to have one of the best happy hours, especially for food. My friend and I sat at the bar and we had awful service. Our server hardly ever came to check on us and we had to flag her down several times when she walked by when we wanted to order more or get a refill. She wasn't very friendly and almost seemed unhappy to help us. She never returned to close us out to where another person did since we were waiting awhile. He was really nice. Despite it being busy, we saw the others check on their customers regularly. Otherwise, the ambiance was fun for the World Cup Game!
First time visiting the Yard House location in Pasadena with my boyfriend and it's officially our favorite. We'll absolutely be back soon! It was busy (as expected), and we waited about 20-25 minutes after checking in, which honestly wasn't bad at all. The vibes were welcoming from start to finish. Huge shoutout to our waiter TJ -- attentive, friendly, and just a great overall vibe. Service was incredible. Even after we paid, he made sure we knew we could still reach out if we needed anything. That kind of hospitality really stands out. We ordered a few items to share: truffle cheese pizza, fried calamari, Parmesan truffle fries with a side of blueberry ketchup (because I'm legit obsessed), and a Caesar salad. Everything was delicious, filling, paired nicely and the portions were solid. I was pleasantly surprised our bill wasn't higher considering how much we enjoyed everything. The Parmesan truffle fries + blueberry ketchup combo was the star of the show for me personally. Although I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the truffle cheese pizza even regardless that I'm not the biggest fan of mushrooms. It had a tasty garlicky sauce and the bread was so soft and warm. Fried calamari was decent, but some pieces were a bit chewy and salad also needed more dressing, other than that no real complaints! I also asked for some blueberry ketchup to go and TJ hooked it up with a generous container -- really appreciated that! My boyfriend ordered the House IPA and was even given a complimentary sample of the Belgian IPA, which was such a nice touch. Can't wait to come back during their happy hour deals! p.s. they do validate parking.
Had a good experience dining at the bar. Upon arrival, there was a bit of a crowd at the front waiting to be seated & the hostess didn't seem enthused, didn't make eye contact, was painfully slow & even tried to seat the party behind me despite me being next & standing directly in front of her. Weird. Even the other party told her I was next. So I informed her that I just wanted to sit at the bar & she said it was open seating. Thank goodness because standing there waiting & not feeling the slightest bit welcomed was unacceptable. At the bar, I was promptly greeted by Adam & ordered the sliders & fries. To my surprise, they were half off for the Happy Hour special. My order was delivered in under 10 minutes & was tasty. I'd return to this location but most likely not during the 4 o'clock hour on a Wednesday.
The Service: Sara was our server. She is awesome!! Super attentive and super patience waiting for us to order. Great customer service! The Food: They were prepared quickly. Fresh ingredients & plating nicely. I really enjoyed the grilled chicken & avocado burger. The Parking: Plaza parking structure. They validate parking, 90 minutes free. After that $1.5 every 30 minutes.
Stopped by Yard House for lunch this afternoon and had a solid experience overall. We were greeted by the host and seated immediately, and our waitress was awesome very helpful with recommendations while we were picking out appetizers. The only thing that threw me off was when I was getting ready to pay the bill. I used the table kiosk to check my summary, and I noticed a $2.99 charge for video games. The device hadn't even been used until it was time to pay, so it was strange to see that automatically added to the total. Overall, a pretty good visit, but if you're paying on that device, make sure you check your bill to ensure everything is correct before you finish!
I had some time to spare and wanted to grab a quick bite before my next event. I dined by myself and got placed at a table. I wasn't sure who my server was and I haven't dined here in over 20 years. I wasn't sure how their service request was. They have an outdoor patio that had a lot of people dining outside. Inside, there were ample amount of diners. They had tv screens that showed the same channel. I used the restroom after I was shown my table. When I came back and took a look at the menu, no one came by to greet me. A few people walked by, all wearing black, I couldn't tell who was a runner or a server. On the table, there was a little device where you can look at the menu, pay, or play games on it. There was a little button that I assumed was the call service for the server to come and assist you. I pressed that and shortly after, the server came and greeted me. I ordered the tomato bisque soup with the grilled smoked gouda cheese sandwich along with a lemonade. The sandwich tasted amazing, and the soup was great. I was hoping it would be a little thicker of a soup base, but overall the flavor was great and paired well with the soup. The lemonade was a little too sweet for me, but refreshing on a hot day.
I had high hopes for this location in Pasadena it's on the second floor of a plaza next to the movie theater, and the space itself is beautiful. Dim but well-balanced lighting, a bar in the center surrounded by TVs, booths, tables, and a patio that looked perfect for summer nights. I came with a longtime friend from middle school for an intentional evening of dinner + improv show, and we ended up at the bar since the wait for a table was 30 minutes. Our bartender, Drewski, was a delight: attentive, checking in often, asking for honest feedback, and making sure our drinks were strong and filled to the brim. We started with a lemon drop and fried calamari with jalapeño tartar sauce the flavor was great, but the breading kept falling off, which was a little disappointing. For our entrée, we had the lobster noodles. While the lobster and shrimp were generous, the lobster seemed overcooked and the noodles were clumped together it made it hard to enjoy. Overall, the ambience, bartending, and drinks exceeded expectations. The food, especially at $38 for pasta and $160 total bill, fell short. The kitchen felt rushed, and that impacted the meal. Would I come back? Maybe, but I'd try a different location. Despite the food issues, the experience itself was beautiful because of the intentional time spent with a dear friend. It reminded me of the importance of carving out time for connection, creativity, and encouragement.
I liked the ahituna burger but it was a little on the dry side. The sauce they put on it made up for the dryness. They allowed me to sub to truffle fries with no parmesan cheese. The brussel sprouts were amazing. They are on the sweeter side since it's made with gochujang. Can't go wrong with calamari. Batter was light and it was best crispy. The kish & tell was pretty light but i can see why it would be a creeper. It was really packed because there was a game so we got seated late after everyone left. Service was great considering they sat over 20 tables in less than 20 minutes. My server refilled my water as soon as i finished the last sip. I mightve gotten lucky since he was near by.
This has really become a go-to spot for us. Yesterday we tried to snag a last minute dinner out for Valentine's Day. As you can imagine some places had a two hour wait time. We ended up at Yard House and I am so glad we did! Although they were busy, we only waited about 30 minutes as estimated by the staff. The restaurant was nicely decorated for Valentine's Day and they played the best music creating a fun vibe for all. Something that stood out was their non-alcoholic, yet festive drink options. I ordered a sparking grapefruit soda and it arrived with a cute citrus garnish. We split an edamame appetizer and I ordered my favorite kale Caesar salad with Gardein (plant based grilled chicken). We shared their bruleee cheesecake which I highly recommend. It was a chilly evening (for California) so I also had some coffee with dessert which was served with every option of sweetener a person could want. The entire staff seemed friendly and pleasant including our awesome waitress. I really must stress a couple of points; Their menu is extensive and their portions are generous. Sometimes a bigger menu isn't always better , but Yard House has proven they can execute orders with the same quantity consistently. Their prices have to make this restaurant one of the best, if not the best, value in Pasadena. I always get two meals out of anything I order. I polished off the second half of my salad for lunch today and it was delicious. The ONLY reason I am not giving this restaurant 5 stars is because it is not a fine dining restaurant. It doesn't claim to be - and if you are looking for great American bar food with healthy options and fresh ingredients-you can't go wrong with this place! read more

I had a great time coming here with my parents for an early mother's day celebration. Our waiter, Cedric, was so attentive and kind. He really made our day. The tacos and sandwich were delicious and the portions are large enough to bring home for left overs. The music wasn't too loud and I was able to catch up with my family. Sat at the bar, female bartender was courteous, quick, and attentive. While I was eating, she left, and was replaced by two male bartenders. Both of whom essentially ignored my presence at the bar. Placed my CC down to pay before I was even finished with my meal. Fifteen minutes later and neither one has closed out my tab. I then had to ask twice to get one of them to finally close out my tab. In addition to the poor service, the Korean ribeye was poorly cooked and barely had a hint of the appropriate flavoring. Not one server or bartender checked with me to ensure my meal was satisfactory. I may as well have been a ghost. Oh, and I'm posting a public review because their website is not working properly for me to submit an email to customer service. read more

Went to happy hour at Yard House and it was great!! I definitely recommend coming here for happy hour. The appetizers were very cheap and our bill came out to less than 50! the service was great and fast. the vibes of the place were great, everyone seemed to be having a nice time dining. Great place. They validate parking in the Paseo garage. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The ambiance was excellent - very lively and lots of screens (sports) all around. It seemed family friendly - we saw several young families. Excellent service from the front entry staff to the wait staff -- everyone was super friendly and welcoming and appeared to like their jobs, which is rare these days! We felt very happy with our evening out here. The prices were ok and during happy hour they have many 1/2 price meal options. If your going to yard house always look at website you can add yourself to waitlist. Today no wait for 2 guest so no need for waitlist . We got seated right away. When at the table you can get service much faster by entering your order yourself on the pos on your table. Waitress is going to do the same thing as you. Waitress took sometime to get to our table. This is why I'm saying just order yourself using pos. We started with Miguel queso dip was so good. Chips could be made fresh a little stale. I had the Korean steak with sub mash potatoes. Sooooo good 10/10. Really really big . And we also had the spicy jambalaya with linguine so good better than in many places . Drinks honey blond is always a good choice supper smooth and crisp. I had dragon fruit something smoked margarita so yummy I'm not much of a hard liquor drinker but it was so good I would get it again. read more

Being a resident of this community for 53 years I'm shamed to go to this yard house ,I have bto travel farther to hopefully get the real experience. No stars as far as I'm concerned. Today was my first time ever trying Yard house and I must say that everything was GREAT! We had Buffalo and Lemon Pepper boneless wings (they were so good I forgot to take a picture! Haha) We also had the four cheeses spinach dip that was my favorite! And also the chicken nachos and omg they were so good! Highly recommend this place! Completely forgot the guys name who helped us out today I really wish I could give him a huge shout out! DEFINITELY going to make another stop soon. read more
This review was a bit of a struggle for me, because I do want the Yard House to succeed, but there are some definite areas they need to improve. Let's first start with the food because that's what you would be going there. I several times have ordered the Ahi crunchy salad and I have enjoyed it but this time half of my tuna was bad. It wasn't spoiled, but it had a tendon running through it that I couldn't cut through. The flavor of the salad is still amazing and the large portion is significantly large, almost family style. Their menu does have a wonderful variety of food. Onto the areas I struggle with which is namely, the Interior design. It's just very cold and corporate and I wish that they could do more to improve the feeling of the place. It also needs a severe deep cleaning. I sat at the bar next to the service bar and the ground and everything around it was very untidy to say the least. The staff has always been really nice and I'll still go back to watch my football. read more
The Yard House in Pasadena is a fun time! Great severs, delicious food, and excellent drinks! We were at the Convention Center across the street and completed two trips to the Yard House within our 3day conference. We ordered appetizers, meals, and drinks were by far the best. Dinner on the first night with a bigger group the board members/councils and the following night was a nice happy hour w/ our VPs & Managers. Service was a bit sparse during the first visit, larger table and salad took 45mins from order to time delivered. We had hungry board members to deal with. Happy hour was a little bit more relaxed and drinks flowing and server was qui vive...lively, fun, and energetic vibe. We'll check out the Bay Area Yard House's in the future. Reminds me of Old Elephant Bar & Grill...always a good time! read more

It's standard American fare, I would recommend going during the 3pm-6pm happy hour. Lots of great deals, especially the chicken nachos. We have a gift card that I have for sometime. Decided to pick up two appetizers and two entrees for dinner last night. The best I tried was the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich perfection to my taste. I ate it first and the rest of our orders were second best but still delicious. Service from front host was friendly, efficient, informative, and quick. The ambiance still as good as I remember from when my friends and I hanging out here on college days. I should have partake on their Happy Hours which is Mon-Fri 3-6 PM, I forgot about it. After a long day of antique hunting, a friend and I decided to grab a quick bite in a casual atmosphere. We chose Yard House because there's something on the menu for everyone. He wanted something Cajun and I wanted something lighter. He chose the Jambalaya Pasta and I went for the Steak Bowl (no rice). Service was quick and attentive. We ate, we enjoyed (he was quite impressed with his meal, mine was good but a tad dry). Portions were generous so we ate heartily. There's a machine on each table that allows you to pay right there and then take off. It was quick, convenient and efficient. If you're in this neck of the woods and want to grab a quick bite without dressing up, this is a place to check out. read more

Yard house never fails me. I decided to try something new this time and get the cali roll stack with wonton chips and glad I did. It was a lot for 1 person and would rather have shared it as an appetizer but I was pleased with it. The best time to go to Yard House is at night. The dim room is such a vibe and the view of Old Town Pasadena never gets old. The menu is pretty small majority is wine and alcohol. The food itself isn't that good. I ordered a mac and cheese and it tasted kind of dry. I think its just because I tend to get the same thing. The first time I had their mac and cheese it was sooo good. The customer service needs work. I did not appreciate my server she seemed eager to leave and was pounding condiments at our table. It also seemed like a problem when we requested more water since my table was dehydrated till towards the end of dinner until she finally came to check up on us. The host also seemed annoyed to be there since she had a serious almost disgusted face that we approached the hostess counter to wait for a table. read more
Free food! Hell yeah! I don't remember how but I got a coupon for a free appetizer at the Yard House. Pre-Covid, I had gone here a few times for happy hour and enjoyed all their appetizers and drinks. My favorite appetizer was the Poke nacho platter. It is still as good as I remembered it. The Yard House is still a sports bar with many TVs and many types of beer on tap. We sat indoors and service was good. I would go again, it turns out that all appetizers are half price during happy hour. read more

While visiting Pasadena, we walked over to the Yard House for dinner on a busy Friday night. Without reservations they were able to get us in within a couple of moments. We were a bit needy and a little extra but Mark was wonderful in taking care of everything that we needed. Thank you Mark and Yard House for a fun & delicious Friday night dinner. read more
