She gave another group our check then came up with a "close amount". Mac and Cheese: Crispy noodles, dry chicken, wasn't great. Didnt even have a lot of cheese and very bland. Truffle burger: odd taste. Was good just different. I was expecting more truffle but it was a lot of soy. Truffle fries should be called parsley fries. ZERO truffle...all parsley. Still a great place for happy hour (3-6 and 10-close)...and their food is very good! The crowd rush seems to have subsided a bit since it first opened. However, the service, selections and quality remains on point. This is the perfect time of year for outdoor dining. The back "yard" provides ample room for groups large and small with games, tv's and music to provide an atmosphere. There are a gazillion beers to choose from and almost ALL on ta... I love the regular Stone IPA (San Diego ), and it pairs well with "everything"! If you are uncertain or overwhelmed with too many options...ask your server for a taste of something - or order a beer flight to help you make up your mind. It appears to not be the place to "see and be seen" anymore, but it IS a quality restaurant with great food, competent staff and a nice vibe ...so check it out! I've been here 3x now and I've been impressed with consistent quality of service. I haven't loved every single dish I've gotten but it was more of me ordering the wrong thing for my own taste buds situation than anything wrong with the food itself. My kids love their kids menu and the portions of all are generous. I've attached some photos from our most recent meal. They have cornhole and a nice outdoor patio. They play a variety of music from 70's to modern and something for everyone in my family. Every server we have had here has been great but last night we had Faith who went above and beyond to satisfy my picky crew (and she was extremely successful which is hard to do). Hey all here is another place to try, We stopped here for Happy Hour and it was a great pick. Half price appetizers with the calamari and cheese curds. This was a great start. We then moved on to the chicken buffalo pizza and a carnivore pizza. These are thin crust and not a cracker crust. Both were very good and delicious. As much as we absolutely love this place, we called ahead to make sure they were going to have the sound on for the Bucs game. I called and the girl that answered said yes, but she sounded very unsure of herself. So, just before we left to go there, we called again and were told that the sound of the Bucs game would only be on of the majority of the people wanted the sound on. When they first opened, I had asked if they would have the sound on for Bucs and Lightning games, and was told they would. They literally advertise in their website "Game Days at Yard House...20+ TV's on site" Management, want to know how to get the majority of the people to want the sound turned on for the HOME TEAM? Cater to the people that root for the Bucs and Lightning. Duffy's does, as do Hooters, Winghouse, Evie's, etc. Your venue is better than all of these. You should act like it on game days. read more

Unfortunately Julie never came back and we had to ask another server to go get her. Julie was curt and unapologetic, my friend asked for water refill. I observed Julie going to several men customers & rubbing their backs and talking, stopping by water carafes but no refill for my friend. Another server brought us our meals, which were very delicious, and he got refills for us. Julie eventually came back, obviously forgot about water refill request. She could tell we weren't pleased with her service and then came to table several times but when we went to pay, Julie left credit card payment tool on table and left. The food is consistently good here and it's a fun environment. The staff is always super nice. The prices are reasonable for food, as everything has been super good so far! The downside is no matter what time of day you go, you will more than likely have a long wait for food, however; it's never been cold, has always been hot but not super fast. Make sure you have plenty of time. The longest we have waited is an hour. Most of the time is 30 mins or so. Yesterday was no exception. We got there at about 11:10 with only a handful of tables and we waited just shy of 30 mins. We weren't in a hurry so enjoyed our conversation. The music is a bit loud when the restaurant is busier as it can sometimes be hard to hear if you have more than a couple people. If you're looking for good food and have some time and not in a hurry, I highly recommend! read more

Chadwick is the best server me and my family have EVER had- with zero exaggeration. He constantly checks up with us when he doesn't have us and when he does he's amazing! We've been to other Yard House's and since this one just opened nearby, we had to give it a try. I'm a big fan of craft and specialty beer, so I was like a kid in a candy store. Many, many good choices. They were out of few, which was a bit surprising. The website said no waiting for a party of three while we were driving up, so I couldn't put myself on the waitlist. When we entered a minute later, we were told it'll be a 35 minute wait. ?? Fortunately a bar with many many great beers was a good place to wait. The bartenders were all attentive and hustling, so service was excellent. When the bartender discovered it was my birthday, I was presented a beer as a birthday gift. We were seated in about 30 minutes. They provide a link, so you can track where you are on the waitlist o your phone - nice! Service at the table was great as well. First time at this location. It is extremely busy! We went on a Friday around 630. It was an hour and a half wait for a table so we stalked the bar and waited for people to get up so we can sit there and eat. The place is really big with indoor and outdoor dining. Me and my grand daughters went there around 2:30 today. When I unrolled my napkin, my silverware was filthy. So was all the other silverware at the table. I spent 16 years in food service as a young person so I know what causes this. You have to replace the wash water in your dish machines after so many cycles otherwise your washing everything in dirty water. So I bring this to the servers attention, she brings me new silverware, and it was equally filthy! Otherwise the food was good, the service not bad, but even the dishes were smudged with a film. This is our second visit to Darden's Yard House in Sarasota. The first time around I got the tomato bisque soup. It was so good, I had to do it again! It didn't disappoint. I got the Maine lobster and schrimp noodles this time around. It was chock full of lobster, schrimp and mushroom pieces. The noodles were thick and tasty. We waited for thirty minutes for our table of 8. It was with the wait! I would highly recommend this establishment if you happen to make your way to Sarasota. read more
