Came here for an early dinner with my mom before we saw a movie. We had the best time. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. We got our food quickly. I had a salad and my mom had a pizza. I would much rather come to Yard House than the Chili's or Buffalo Wild Wings nearby. They have a large menu of options available. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak and a beer. The portions were very large. The chicken was very juicy. The fries were cooked perfectly. I was able to take leftovers to go as well. This place, and this particular location, is a winner. I sit here gushing with appreciation for you Yardhouse. To be totally honest, I actually don't think you're that great but you are reliable, steady, and inclusive. And clean. Clean is good. This Yardhouse (Yardhouse is a chain if you didn't know) is located on the top floor of the Palisades Center where other fine dining establishments such as the World's Worst Chili's and America's Saddest Friday's reside. So Yardhouse has a running start in this review. The space is huge and kind of dimly lit but the dozens of TVs EVERYWHERE brighten the place up. There is a huge wraparound bar, which is nice because you can usually get a spot during a game and also can position yourself to have a fair amount of buffer space between you and the other patrons on non-game days - because who wants to hear what anyone else has to say. In short, it never really feels cramped. There are also tons of tables and booths. The booths fit six so there is space to spare there as well and they are situated to also allow for the watching of the walls of aforementioned TVs. The drinks: Yardhouse is known for their tremendous selection of beer on-tap. They let you sample whatever you want as well. I'm not a beer drinker but I assume that the row of taps below the wall of TVs is a combination that will make most men happy. They also have a decent wine selection which is fairly priced and a cocktail list (although I haven't tried any of the latter). Oh and you can get the beer in those big glass-thingys. The food: The Yardhouse menu is EXTENSIVE. It literally is a book. Take your time perusing it because if you came here in the first place, you were probably intending to stay a while. For a "sports bar," the menu is shockingly elevated. Of course, there are all the standard burgers, wings, fried apps, et al. but there are also a ton of healthy and vegetarian options (ahi tuna creations, zoodles, gardein wings, 700 calorie or less category, and more). I've in no way made it through most of this menu but all the ahi tuna items have been pretty decent (if a bit skimpy) and become go-to orders (nachos, tartare, poke, sesame crusted seared). No new friends. The giant pretzel that comes hanging from a hook is also a big hit with kids and will give them something to work on for a while. So circling back here, Yardhouse is a spot which really has something for everyone. You can bring your boys here to watch the game. You can bring your girl here to have dinner while you secretly watch the game. You can bring your whole family here while you secretly watch the game. You can even bring your girlfriends here and catch-up while you all ignore the game. Inclusivity you see. And also the bathrooms are clean which is something very important to me and a diamond in the rough at this mall. read more

Came to watch the Met's game on Wednesday and entered through the parking lot, place was pretty dead. Took at seat by bar at the tables and started looking at the menu on the table device they have. After 10 minutes a host tells us we need to come to the front for a table. Okay I get up and go the the front and then he seats us back at the table we were out- strange. Our server finally came over and was grumpy as can be, not friendly, not attentive. Drinks took forever, a second drink ordered on their device sat in the window for 15 minutes before someone brought it over. A turkey club with mayo on the side came with out mayo. Asked the food runner and he said it would take a minute, he never came back- the waiter despite the red light being on for 10 minutes was no where to be found, no manager, nobody. Eventually got the mayo but it was too late, I was already done eating and my wife was beyond annoyed. Not sure what goes on here, no teamwork, no one helping one another and no management on site could be the problem. Sad part is the food is decent and they have a good beer selection, but without service and hospitality it doesn't work. read more

My experience was far less than acceptable last night at the Yard House. I must express that the quality of their service has significantly declined recently. Last night I ordered an Espresso Martini Black. I do not like the drink made with Baileys or Kahlua because I have previously experienced an allergic reaction to those ingredients. However, the bartender at Yard House insisted that there was no other way to make the drink, and although I reordered it several times and expressed my concerns, she insisted that she could not make it to my preference. The manager intervened but sided with the bartender, who said they only made the drink that way, which made no sense. Moreover, my daughter, a bartender, stated that all drinks can be modified to meet special needs. Therefore, no bartender should have made that statement. There are multiple ways to prepare any drink. However, I remembered another incident with the same bartender. I came in with my son just before closing, and the bartender at the bar refused to serve us. However, after reporting the incident to the management, she was instructed to serve anyone who was in the restaurant before the doors closed. However, I remember she was rude and condescending. Therefore, when I encountered her, a bartender stated that the problem was with her, and I felt the manager lacked leadership skills, failing to direct her appropriately. Needless to say, my dinner was ruined, and I canceled my drink order after showing the manager a picture of the Expresso Black that I had often had at Banchetos. Directly thereafter, he started claiming that I was yelling at him, although my voice remained at the same tone throughout the explanation of the concern. The manager lacked the skills to resolve the matter adequately. So I told him not to worry; I would send my concerns to the corporate office, and I cancelled the drink and the dinner. The entire situation was humiliating, to say the least. They were treating me as if I didn't know what I wanted, as if I was asking for something that wasn't possible to produce. Moreover, I felt that the bartender was entirely on a mission to harass me because I am sure she is aware that an espresso martini can be made many ways to accommodate the customer's needs. This experience was very disappointing because I live near West Nyack, and my husband and I used to enjoy eating dinner there quite often. We will be visiting Banchetto more often, as their services are professional 95% of the time. read more

Words can't describe how much I really like coming to Yard House. It stinks living far away because it prevents me from making this stop on a regular basis, but it is what it is. The menu is quite big with a lot to offer, and the burgers are the main go-to. They're loaded with flavor and can be very messy, which can be a bit of a pain but that's just the fun of it. The meat is tasty without a doubt, cooked just right with your choice of how you want it cooked. Also, the drink menu is huge as their beer is well advertised, and they're famous for it. Look for photos of it, and you'll see for yourself. Coming on weekends can be tough due to the busyness in the mall, so making a reservation is the best choice to make. Without it, expect to wait for quite a while. I'm also very impressed with how the bathroom is clean, and how they keep up with it. Someone who's in charge of it does a wonderful job - I definitely applaud them for it. The service here is great and this is a stop not to miss. read more

Got in here right after opening while we were waiting for the movie theater to open up. I wouldn't say this place was even a third full but there were a couple tables occupied and we got the bar. The bartender was absolute dear and hooked us with some good drinks and a beers she recommended her on point along with the watermelon margarita. There's a massive food and drink list and they are itemized on the beer section with what you're taste is so it makes it a lot easier for somebody who's not a beer snob to pick out what they should get. Feel free to ask them about what's the menu and what's the best way to get around it she recommended we take some appetizers and she was not wrong. That nacho plate is definitely for three people and the sliders were fantastic with the truffle fries. We stopped by Yard House on a Sunday during lunch hour (moon), just before the crowd rush. For seats right away in our preferred area. They have a good collection of items, we decided to go with cheesesteak and tacos. The Philly cheesesteak was really delicious, very wellade with some good fries on the side. But I couldn't believe the same kitchenade such untasteful disappointing tacos. It was cold, none of the ingredients came together, no sauce of any kind on the side. I had to use ketchup to over power the distaste of the tacos. Over server and receptionist were really kind and thoughtful. But the food did let the experience down. read more

I love this restaurant chain. It hasn't disappointed yet when it comes to food and the infinite amount of booze. This was a busy pre Christmas evening I made my way from the city to the Palisades Mall everyone raves on about. It definitely lived up to the hype for sure! So this is one of the many restaurants inside the mall. Full of people we had a 45 min wait, which isn't bad on a packed Holiday weekend. Walk in it's the typical super spacious dining area with booths and table mixture. The bar as always big presence in the middle with what seems like hundreds of beers and ciders on tap. On one wall is clear windows showcasing the intricate keg set up. Food was wonderful the ahi sashimi was perfect and tasty. The cocktails were refreshing and my main course whiskey glazed salmon w/ carrots mash and yummy, I assume, whiskey glaze sauce. Recommend 10 out of 10. Unfortunately what bothers me A LOT was the service. Our waiter was attentive and did the bare minimum which is enough on a packed night I suppose. She double checked an ID for drinks twice with no reason or at least a good explanation. After I want to say 15 mins she came back, after drinks were on the table. I would not recommend this place on a packed night. You won't get the true Yardhouse experience also suggest not trying one in a mall unfortunately, unless you are pressed for time. read more

I ordered the chicken bowl because I had it once in the past and it was awesome. They must have changed the way it's prepared because there was no rice this time. I asked the waitress and she said everyone says the same thing but she was kind enough to bring out another side of rice which perfected the meal. Also, I had the queso which didn't look as I imagined but it was actually tasty and I would get it again. Friends had the onion ring tower which looked awesome but I don't eat that. Haven't been to a Yard House in a long time, but this was my first time at the one in the Palisades. We had a reservation, and only waited about 5 mins to get seated. It was 7:30 Saturday evening, so it was very crowded with patrons. We were seated at a larger booth, and it was large enough with plenty of room for 4 kids and adults. It was very loud and sometimes had to speak very loudly to be heard, but it's expected given the place. TV's all over the place to catch the games, fans drinking and cheering at the bar, but it was nice and dim enough to have somewhat privacy to enjoy your own party. We put in the kids orders first and the food came out pretty quick. Our waiter was so nice and friendly, and very attentive. The food we ordered was all delicious. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. I highly recommend the Nashville Hot Chicken and Waffles. I loved it. Definitely recommend Yard House. Great place to eat. read more

First time at yard house, and as it was expected it was very loud. It seem like a good place to hang out with friends and grab a couple of drinks as their drinks selection is impressive, so many choices. The food was ok, nothing to brag about as the wings we ordered didn't have any flavor at all. The 3 cheese pizza was good, and I didn't really care for the Tacos or the rice and beans that came with them. Service was good, our server was very busy and still managed to take care of us without any complaints. I like you are able to order, pay and play games via a deviceatnthe end of the table. This was our first time at Yard House. The only thing that kept Yard House from five stars was the service. Our waiter was nice and friendly just not that attentive. Once our order was taken and we got our drinks we did not see him again until after our meal came. I dont know about You by a like a server to keep an eye out on the drink situation and that just did not happen. My husband likes a few drinks at dinner. So by our server not keeping an eye out he missed out on the higher bill / higher tip. Now for our food... I wanted the garlic shitake noodles which is actually an app. However I ordered it as my meal. I really wish they made an entree version of my meal. I love garlic so thats what originally drew my attention to this app. The mushrooms and noodles were both cooked nicely. My husband ordered the 20oz bone in ribeye with grilled shrimp. He would have preferred a rare steak however since my meal was an appetizer and he was sharing with me he compromised on medium. Along with the steak was mashed potatoes and my husband was quite impressed with the broccoli. I had a butter knife and I was able to cut through this steak no problem. We were handed menus--and of course first checked out the drink selections. They have menu of all the beers and cocktails offered. We opted to try to the loaded seltzer. I had tried the passion fruit seltzer with cruzan rum. It was such a refreshing combination. We had started with the appetizer and had ordered calamari. And placed our order for our entree. I had ordered a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with the truffle fries. Overall the order was good ad our order came out as ordered. They have a good variety of foods and have happy hour deals! Think of this place as a slightly higher class place than what TGIF was trying to be in the 90s. So for all of us growing up at TGIF, Chilis, etc., this is next evolution of those types of restaurants. The place is always cold for some reason... Like colder than most of the other restaurants! They also keep it decently dark, and rely on the TV's to light the place up. It is also on the louder side. Their biggest draw is the crazy beer selection! They have about 100 things on tap! And you get to see their fridge on one side of the restaurant. Food is pretty decent. It is definitely a step up from TGIF. If you come, I highly recommend coming during happy hour and getting half priced apps. Some of our favorites were, Calamari, Cheese curds, Bavarian pretzel. We would recommend avoiding the pizza. Very greasy and not that good. Their tacos and burgers are pretty good! We usually stick to those whenever we come. They have 7 or 8 different types of tacos, and 5 different options for burgers. All of them are good. Same with their sandwiches, they have 5 or 6 options and they are all pretty good. Staff has always been friendly for us. Service is semi slow, even when the place is dead... Sometimes water takes 5-10 minutes. The place is always clean. Never had any issues, but its always fairly dark and kind of hard to see lol! All in all, one of the better dinner options at the mall. Buffalo Cauliflower with Spicy Tahini. Despite the sloppiness it taste really good. I didn't care for the sauce much. #2. Crispy Brussels Sprouts & Potatoes. The Brussels sprouts were indeed crispy and the potatoes were so flavorful. Entrees: #1. Fish & Chips. Batter was perfect and not over the top salty like some we've had in other places. #2. Kale Caesar Salad w/grilled salmon. I have to say I was extremely disappointed in the size of the salmon on my kale salad!!! The size was literally about 3-1/2" if that. Although very tasteful, I couldn't get over the size. The rest of the salad was scrumptious. Just the right amount of caesar dressing tossed in with some Brussels sprouts, juicy cherry tomatoes, raisins and some Pistachios!!! Such a great combination for a Caesar salad. And I wait a little longer. Finally one shows up with their extensive beer list and menu and disappears around the corner. So I wait some more. Finally, he returns and I order a beer. As I sip and watch, I realize that while the bar is not extremely busy, everyone seems to be looking for the bartender. I see multiple people appear at the margins but nobody comes around. Finally he shows yo and despite being halfway through my first beer, I ask for the check. When it comes, I throw some cash down, throw the rest of the beer down (my throat that is) and leave.
