But they changed the menu so no my order is sweet potato fries and something very random. I do wish they'd return to the old menu. My folks usually get calamari which is hit or miss. The hostess was terrible she rolled her eyes at us when we asked if we could have a booth. There were three empty clean booths and she said the server was out on break but there was one with a green light and we asked about that one she huffed and walked away. Then she came back a few moments later to tell us it was fine. The dramatic approach was not necessary. The waitress Heather was lovely. She was so professional, helpful and welcoming. Pretty tasty too! sticky, salty, full of flavor. also, lets not forget the shrooms--they were cooked well and were a nice touch. where things went wrong, were my taco this time. i wanted to try the vampire style taco shell, its basically a fried taco shell covered in cheese. sounds great right? wrong. its lightly crusted with what tastes like parmesean, and it was cold. kinda fell off the shell too. my fish inside was a small piece of fish, wasnt hot, and was covered with guac. i feel the overpowering of the guac took away from the fish. i feel the vampire shell sounds like a good idea, but wasnt executed well. as always, the beer selection is prime here. sample it all. i sat at the bar this time and got really great service from a friendly server. read more

We got the poke nachos and we didn't know what to expect, but they were De-li-cious!! Sliders were on point and service was great! It was a big game night but we didn't have to wait very long and they said we could get beers at the bar while waiting which made time go by even faster. Beers were great and cold. Three people ordered WHISKEY GLAZED SALMON (Whiskey on the side) I had the Salmon Cobb Salad (dressing on the side) one person ordered the crab cake sandwich and the Beyond burger. I'm gonna say, I would have never asked for this promotion if they didn't have a sign right at the front door. they are advertising $15 for a flight and a pint - now through April 8 ... it says now on the sign - my waiter got agitated at me for asking for the advertised special and then both the manager and waiter just walked away and refused to honor the offer. Everytime I go here, it's a great time. We typically come for happy hour, they also have a few food specials that are half price. We typically opt for their poke nachos and the lettuce wraps. The last two times we had Giovanni and Al as a server. Service is also great, they are very good with refills. I also like that they have options for those who have dietary needs. I like the Yard House a lot. It's usually really packed because who love beer and sports reveal to flock here. There is a wide selection of beers and the food is good. Service is great too. The hostesses were sweet, professional, attentive and polite. Our server Yanila was on the ball tending to us and the large party of 20 in her section. I thought it was remarkably impressive. I know it's a chain but their food hardly disappoints. Their half off apps happy hour is great- the poke nachos are a favorite of ours to get EVERY TIME we go. Their boneless wings have been hit/miss lately which sucks because usually they're so delicious. I highly recommend sampling some beers while there, they have a great selection on tap. Their truffle fries are great, get them with a side of aioli. Their sweet potato fries are out of this world I highly recommend a fresh and hot order. Korean chicken cheesesteak wasn't worth it. We ended up getting there a bit earlier than our reserved time and seated ourselves at the bar for a drink. I ordered the Long Beach tea and my boyfriend ended up trying the Strawberry Mule. The Long Beach tea was a mixture of vodka, rum, tequila, Jin, orange liquor, agave, cranberry juice and sprite. You'd think that there's a lot going on in this drink but it was made to perfection. I haven't had a drink this good.. maybe because I've been cooped inside for months. Whatever the case is, we REALLY enjoyed our drinks. The scene was lively, the music was awesome and people were having a great time around us. We decided to stay at the bar for the rest of our time. I let the hostess know that we didn't need our table. We ordered a couple of things to munch on; - Grilled Korean Beef Tacos (AMAZING) - Fried chicken tenders (WE'RE ADULTS BUT THESE TENDERS WERE EVERYTHING) - Sesame noodles with garlic and mushroom (THIS PLATE WAS LARGE AND GARLICY, YUM!) Came here very late at night for a quick bite and I was not disappointed. Our waiter David was very friendly and helpful. We decided to go with the street tacos. I had the Korean bbq tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were amazing. The beef was seasoned perfectly and it was topped with pickled vegetables. The beans was ok but did not like the rice: it tasted a little acidic, not sure if it was cooked with vinegar. My friend had the baja fish tacos and she loved them. Yard House is cool. Realizable and simple, my boyfriend and I know what we sign up for when we get there. We enjoy the pineapple mules, the wings are nice and crispy and the burgers have attention to detail. I appreciate it. This review is based on the bar/alcohol because I came in for happy hour. Their selection of draft beers are incredible. The bartender recommended a beer called Schneider Aventinus to me and it was AMAZING. Service was quick and we didn't have an empty glass for the entire duration of our stay at the bar. We were doing doing a couple of rounds of shots. A lot of the hard liquor we were asking for was 86ed, but they were quick to suggest other brands that were similar in consistency. It was a pretty slow Tuesday night so we actually got to have some good convos with the bartenders, too. So we were in the Palisades Mall for my best friend Birthday. I told someone I worked with I was going to the Mall and he told me Yard House was a must have!! Completely overhyped this place, so I of course couldn't wait to try it. It was not good and left very little to be desired. The only two good things I had here was my drink the Paradise Mojito and truffle fries. The inside is very nice and love the large tap selection. The place had a long wait so I thought for sure we were going to have an amazing dinner. The appetizers were extremely flavorless; my friend hated her Spinach dip that she sent it back. Our entrees were all just okay. My boyfriend was unimpressed with his burger, I wasn't a huge fan of the sandwich. My friend hated her southern fried chicken that she took one bite and didn't even want to finish it. Not sure what the hype is but it isn't worth it. Stick to Red Robin! They have a great menu for both drinks and food. The waiter was extremely helpful in helping our party decide on beers. All drinks we ordered were really good. However, we did try ordering the magic margaritas and were told they were out, however after our first round of drinks they had found more stuff to make them and we were able to order them for our second round. We got fried mac and cheese and cheese curds for apps. Both very delicious and came out quickly. I got the Abuela's chicken for dinner which was spicy, but very good. Everyone in my party seemed satisfied with their meals. One person did order a poke bowl and was told they did not have them but the waoter was patient in giving extra time to decide. Edna was helpful with providing us an allergen (gluten-free) menu and making sure we had a great first visit. A great burger We stopped in for a late lunch before heading to the movies next door. I should mention this Palisades Mall is an amazing place, multiples larger than any other mall I have visited. There is a ton of places to eat, we selected the Yard House based on a recommendation. And now I play it forward by recommending it to you. While the delivery of food was too slow, the food itself was great. I tried one of their featured items, a Kurobuta Pork Burger. It had spicy candied bacon, didn't notice any spicy but it had plenty of sweet pieces, cheese, arugula, and a blueberry ketchup. That was new to me. We stopped by here for quick dinner and drink before movie and this place is perfect for that. They have amazing selections of beers and our waiter was nice to let us try couple beers we wanted to try before we order which was very nice since they have so many!!!! I ended up ordering ace pineapple cider which was soooooooooo good!!!!! I generally like ciders but this was perfect for hot day like today. They also have verity of foods for bar from light bite to steaks to desert. I wasn't feeling heavy meal so ordered Caesar salad and crab/artichoke dip which was perfect and my boyfriend ordered steak which was pretty good.
