Wonderful Greek restaurant on the UWS. The prices and the food are great. You can order a platter for 2-4 people or order à la cart. Nice cocktail menu too.

I enjoyed my meal here, beautifully decorated restaurant with attentive service. Ordered the mixed grill, very huge serving. I love a good fry, these were amazing! Would re visit for their brunch menu, it looked very appealing.

Such a delicious cozy, warm Greek spot I'd come back to all the time if I lived nearby. Has all the makings of a favorite neighborhood/date spot with comforting and creamy potato-and-leek soup, béchamel-beef moussaka, Greek spreads (hummus, tzatziki, eggplant), juicy grilled calamari, and towers of baklava and olive oil cake with Greek yogurt ice cream. Tons of outdoor seating on the sidewalk. Shoutout to our server Paolo who was so helpful ordering, recommending all these delicious dishes. 5 stars!!!!

Decided to randomly pick a new spot and to my suprise this is now going to be my go to place for girl dinners, solo dinners & date nite. The service, food and ambiance all checks out 10/10. Our waiter was so nice and made sure we didn't feel rushed to order or eat since they were closing soon. We opted to skip appetizers and went straight for entrees . I had the chicken thigh souvlaki skewers with , tabouli, pita & potatoes. Also came with to delicious sauces and pita ! So good , the chicken was so flavorful, the tabouli was perfectly made and the Yasou sauce is incredible!! Honestly i'm already planning my next visit to eat here, this really is a gem and I can't believe I only stumbled upon it now !

Yummy! I loved this place! We went for a very early dinner, sat outside, and had absolutely fantastic service. Speedy & very kind. The food was overall awesome - delicious saganaki and the chicken thigh skewers were soooo good & juicy. I have to say I was let down by the spreads. The tzatziki was pretty bland and even the eggplant & sundried tomato dips felt a little under-seasoned. Nothing bad though! The outdoor was lovely but the indoor space was also so cute and swanky, it looked great. Will definitely be returning!

This place is great! They really know how to cook seafood. Been several times for lunch - the swordfish souvlaki was perfectly cooked. We had a great dinner, sharing the seafood platter among 3 - swordfish, shrimp, octopus, salmon all perfect with delicious tabouli, fries, veggies and tzatziki. Great drinks too. highly recommend!

I came here tonight to celebrate my birthday because I wanted to try a new restaurant for dinner. My parents and I loved it! Will definitely come back. Portions are big and the food tastes delicious. I do wish they did candles and sang on your birthday but that's my only critique!

Huge mixed platter, definitely the thing to get. can feed four

Well I just saw there is one also on the upper east side. I liked the space and ambience but felt slightly unauthentic for Greek and also pricey, but the mixed grill is an amazing bang for your buck although not sure why you'd serve asparagus and Brussels sprouts with this platter, that's not Greek...fries were soggy and not well seasoned as were most of the kebabs especially the minced meat kebab...but the gyro chicken was my favorite thing and tzatziki was also really good...although the bread was average though.

A very cute Greek place with cute vibes! There were pillows on the seats. My friend and I both ordered the chicken thigh souvlaki, which came with the chicken, pita, salad, and fries. I usually don't like to eat fries with any sauces, sauce for the fries was delicious. It was very crowded when we arrived but my friend booked a reservation in advance, so I would recommend making a reservation before you go!

"Things to Consider":…read more 1. Food - fine if you want to pay hotel prices for food that you can get at a New Jersey or Long Island mall at much lower prices. Paper plates, plastic cutlery and pita chips warmed and served in the bags they came in. 2. Service - non-existent. No staff members acknowledge your arrival. You either have to wave madly or go to the bar and ask for a drink. The staff is always closing early with the staff excuse that "we are not busy" yet guests are routinely turned away. The staff is not happy and begrudge being there. DO NOT believe in the hours posted on the website. There is a built-in clientele but the staff can't wait to close it down. I don't know what is wrong with management but they have lost the plot. 3. Ambience - The space could be so much better than it is. The lighting is okay but the seating in the bar area is not appropriate. The adjoining cafe has a better feeling. Ambience has a lot to do with making guests feel welcome - this staff doesn't understand the meaning of hospitality but they should not be blamed. It is clear they have no training and are not held to any standard. If you want to go to a great space, go to the Wallace Hotel around the corner (I am NOT affiliated with them... have just gone there many times). It is so sad to see a place with such potential be so poorly run, especially as they have such little competition. The Arthouse Bar has the potential to be THE leading cocktail/music/late-night bar on the Upper West Side.

I mean it's drenched in butter... it's obviously going to be delish. the fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and layered in salt. weird to have to ask for mayo but they did bring it out. - the, albeit pretty, veggie sides I felt were unnecessary and borderline cold so unclear on how much they really added the meal - the Tarte Tatin à la mode was a win around the table. the apple melted in your mouth. the Poire belle Hélène was good but paled in comparison
