I've eaten at other Mongolian Grills and they do not charge for to go boxes. Yet they ask you multiple times if you want a to go box??? I don't understand the to go box charge because it's not like it's unlimited. You fill a bowl and then if you can't finish it you get shamed and have to pay? Ok I'll just bring my own tubber ware next time? It's one thing if you paid for an unlimited bowl or something but like... seriously? I'm also not a fan of this place because they cut the meat into tiny slices and it makes the texture so course and gross. This place is expensive but at least the drinks and soup at the end is unlimited to counter the price. Hopefully never coming back because I can't finish a bowl... I'm a small girl I shouldn't get shamed and treated like a child because I can't finish a bowl of weird meat and noodles. Note: I did not pile my bowl high. In fact 100% of it fit inside the bowl and only one peanut fell out when the cooks grabbed it. So it's complete bullshit they want to charge for to go boxes. The meat is always stocked as are the veggies. The veggies look nice and fresh. The staff is helpful building your sauces. The portions are tremendous, get the to go box for fifty cents. Had a YC's that closed close to our house. We found this location close to our house. The people were very friendly, and the food is cooked to perfection. I like being able to make my own sauce but if you are unsure, they will help you. The prices are fair compared to what you get. I highly recommend this restaurant. We plan to go back soon! read more

I am really disappointed to do this but it is very important to people with a gluten allergy!!!! I ordered gluten free rice noodles and a gluten free sweet and sour through door dash. I got through half of my bowl and realized they're were a few wheat noodles mixed in. I was hoping i didn't eat enough to have a reaction but unfortunately it was. I ended up in the hospital with heavy steroids, my face swelled really bad and I ended up with a body rash. I did call them they said they can't guarantee there is no cross contamination between non GF and GF firms but they do there best by separating the noodles and cleaning off the Grill but this was obviously not the case. She did apologized and stated I could get a refund through door dash. I wasn't worried about the money I told her. it's the fact that my allergy is bad, but not in comparison to some peoples, and they could kill someone if they're not carful, and shouldn't advertise GF if it's not " guaranteed " like the manager said. so please if you have a gluten sensitivity, Please go in. This is my favorite restaurant! This location is also really good the manager is always working very hard to keep it clean and well stocked. I highly recommend! If you've never been, you are missing out! Also I noticed they do take allergy into consideration, someone had an allergy and they cleaned everything very quickly and serviced them without much disruption. My husband really loves the food. I really like it too. The people are usually very nice and always checking in. I went to get a box for my husband. I had the $.50 in hand but I had also just heard the girl offer two boxes to another table right next to us. I walked over and asked for one immediately said that we charge $.50 for them. I had every intention of paying, I had the change in my hand. I paid and then she grabbed 2 boxes for the other table walked them over and never even charged them. I'm not mad about being charged but it would have been nice to have been treated the same. i know that they do not consistently charge for the boxes but they really need to think about perception. read more

I do not give 5 stars lightly!!!! However, I MUST commend this establishment!!! 1st off, the cashier is at front door, behind plexiglass shield. She was super polite and helped us through the changes.. They had chicken, pork and fish. Due to beef prices being high, beef was extra 3.00 per 6oz portion. I was fine, did not need beef!! Then she gave us a number on our tray, it was 1 for us and a for cook. Then they would bring the food to our table. There was an employee waiting at end of food bar to hand off our trays to the grill. Then we went over to get our usual treat of soup and rice. Although all the dishware and cutlery was of the disposable variety, I was fine with that. It was all done so professionally and neat, tidy and organized!!! This last visit we both got insanely ill (a few hours after we ate) went to urgent care and was told it was food poisoning. Called just to say what happened. My first time here, very impressed. Clean they are mopping after each person leaves, the staff is friendly and helpful. It's a nice dinner meal, includes drink, white or brown rice, soups, and frozen yogurt. The meats are great and dinner includes shrimp and cod fish, the veges are very fresh and crisp, great herbs and spices and sauces..And when you press down the stuff in your bowl prior to it being cooked, you get a huge bowl of food I was very full. We love how we can eat a Whole Foods plant-based vegan (and no oil) meal every time we visit. They clean the grill for us each time (request an allergies notice sign). The customer service and the quality of food are consistently of high quality every time we visit. I've been a huge fan of YC's since day one. I'm the person who annoys everyone else in line because I make a massive pile of veggies and noodles and take forever in doing so - but what can I say? I'm allowed to put on as much as I want, I'm paying for it, so dang it all, I am bound and determined to get two days of leftovers from it all! There's only really a handful of things that I don't like about this place. You pay for the to-go boxes always seems cheap to me. I'm also peeved that the ice cream machine is only open at certain times, silly as that sounds. Since I pay the same whenever I go there, I think it's kind of cheap to only have it open for dinner. So happy we stumbled into this place today! We recently relocated from out of state and came across YC's, from the minute we walked in Maria was above and beyond helpful, she gave us a complete run down on how the process works step by step, suggested sauce selections and continued to check on us several times. Maria is amazing! She was not only helpful but she genuinely enjoyed her job and helping us figure things out, thank you Maria! Pretty expensive if you ask me.We went for dinner with me, my mom, my dad, my two nieces, my daughter, and my nephew. My mom and dad both got a small bowl each, I got a large bowl to bring home for leftovers, and the kids each got kids meals. Overall it came to 98.35. Almost 100 dollars to feed 6 people. You'd think my moms senior discount would help. The food was alright, really watery at the bottom. We tried to get the most amount of food and sides we could to get our worth. Not gonna lie, the beginning of the night started out as a total bummer. I had made my bowl and there was absolutely no flavor when I went to eat it. It was the most bland thing in the world haha. Luckily I reached out to the right staff member, Arlissa, and when I asked for a refund she offered to fix it first and if I still didn't like it she'd get me a full refund. I have been eating here for many years and it's definitely one of my favorite places to eat. When you first arrive, you choose between a small or large bowl, then start adding your noodles and ingredients. They have many different ingredients to choose from, and I love how they have many different vegetarian options like tofu, a large selection of veggies, pineapple, and peanuts. There are also a large variety of sauces to choose from so you can mix them and create your own flavor. If you don't know what to choose, they have recipes for sauce blends on the wall. In addition, you get to watch your food being cooked in front of you, which is quite satisfying and only took exactly 60 seconds. After your food is cooked, you can get some white or brown rice as well as a bowl of soup. The food is very tasty and even if you eat a lot, it's highly likely that you will have leftovers. We received a "welcome to the area" coupon for this restaurant. First, the hostess was so welcoming and explained how the process worked. We had never eaten at a restaurant like this. The cook was quite skilled in using the round stone/grill to cook what we selected. The same hostess (Maria??) came by to make sure we enjoyed the meal and brought cups for the ice cream machine. Both the chocolate and vanilla flavors were so creamy and delicious!! Regarding the Covid protocols... the staff wore masks, gloves were provided to customers when handling the serving spoons etc... they allowed every other table to be used and plexiglass-glass hung between booths. This is the better mangolian type of restaurant within this state, definitely not like the other one that rhymes with bengis (that place is horrible) . This place can cater to both vegetarians and the meat eaters in your family. The price includes, your creation ( noodle stir fry or just a veggie stir fry ), white or brown rice, 2 types of soups ( both have meat in it though ), crispy noodles, a drink and frozen yogurt (dinner time only ). There is a choice between a kiddies (for ages up to 12 I think ), a small bowl, large bowl and an all you can eat bowl. I always pick the small bowl and fill it up like crazy. It costs about 11 bucks but can easily give me 2-3 meals out of it and its so worth the money, as long as you pay $.50 for the to go container. I always pack mine with lots of veggies, tofu and noodles. This place has a sauce suggestions and its pretty accurate and tasty but I always go for the spicy peanut thai sauce ! read more
