I came at around ~12 on Easter Sunday and the line was out the door! Luckily, the line moved quickly and my drink came out super fast. The interior was sparsely decorated and there were around 4-5 tables. However, there were a ton of plugs around, so I would definitely study here! I got a Vienna Matcha Latte for ~7.50$. Definitely pricey, but I could tell they used quality milk and matcha. It was a little too sweet for my taste, so next time I would get it less sweet. It was pretty good, but something I'd only visit if I was in the area. 3-1/2 stars for friendly service. Having tried the OG Yeems in K-Town, I was interested in trying the newer location in Gardena. I popped in after lunch, and luckily, there wasn't a huge line; by the time I ordered and paid, the line started forming and wrapping around the corner. I ordered the vienna matcha, which was beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the taste was a bit lackluster; even though I mixed it, I wish the matcha could've been stronger, as the oat milk and cream top overpowered everything. Perhaps it was my milk of choice, but any case, the matcha could've shone through more. Overall, staff and baristas were super nice and friendly, despite rush hour. This location has been through a few businesses just within a couple of years from what I remember it was I think a boba tea drink place then Moana Grill then King Boba now Yeems Coffee. The place has a few tables like before the staff here is friendly and pretty efficient. Even 15 mins before closing with lots of people still ordering and waiting they had a full stuff working hard. I got the Strawberry Matcha Latte w/Oat Milk the gal who took my order was awesome and so friendly even had a brief convo. This spot is in a small plaza where parking can be tough with all the businesses opened and at peak eating times parking can be difficult to find a spot. Overall a great experience here they do close early at 5pm so I always end up not getting here on time when I always wanted to try this place. I was pleasantly surprised by Yeems coffee. I personally dislike coffee because my body is weird and it goes into automatic crash mode right after drinking coffee. Most of the time I tend to avoid drinking it, but out of curiosity, I decided to try Yeems due to the fact that they always seem to have lots of customers every time I pass by. I was super happy to realize that their coffee did not give me that automatic crash feeling I get when I drink specifically coffee. Hot buttercream latte: 10/10 If you guys have ever been to Universal and have tried and liked their Butter beer then you will love this buttercream latte from Yeems. It taste like a milder version of butter beer. Cold Homemade Vanilla Latte: 8/10 The homemade vanilla really shines in this latte! According to my boyfriend, it tastes pretty similar to Starbucks's iced vanilla shaken espresso but the vanilla Yeems used is superior. Tips: Parking lot is fairly small. What we loved about Yeems was they offered non-dairy options as my boyfriend is lactose intolerant. Ambience of the café was clean, neat and simple. I used to go to the one in LA and I was so happy when they opened this location. My go to order was an iced Vienna latte and it was delicious, creamy and just oh, so good! However, I've been trying to swap matcha for coffee and the matcha is just ok. I've tried the strawberry matcha and Vienna matcha and both were just mediocre. If you want to wait in a line that's out the door, come on the weekend. Otherwise, if you come during the week and it's fairly early, you can just walk right in. The parking lot can get full, but again, if you come early that won't be an issue. But I have come here when it was full and it's def not an ideal parking lot because I find some of the spaces to be really tight. Service was great. Very friendly... In addition to the lines, people standing by waiting their orders too. So it was getting crowded. Parking was not bad at that hour though. Many open spots. VIENNA LATTE Creamy and sweet cream with espresso. No bitterness of the coffee at the end. Very clean flavor. The cream top is light and not overwhipped. Some of the cream top coffees I've had in other shops leave a weird, filmy aftertaste, but this was done very well! ICED STRAWBERRY MATCHA LATTE As a matcha lover, this was delicious! Good quality matcha! The Nekohama Ceremonial Grade Matcha was a clean, sweet, floral flavor with no bitterness. The strawberry milk was light, but the matcha did not overpower the strawberry milk. It complemented each other so well! This reminded me of a good summery drink on a hot day. It was refreshing! CUSTOMER SERVICE Very chill and friendly service. The person at the front had a lovely, friendly demeanor inspite of the long line forming in front of her. She was taking all the orders by herself too! The baristas were working in an open kitchen. If there's no available timeslot for pickup, then that means there's no more space for online orders for that day. This was my third time visiting Yeems, and I've consistently ordered the Strawberry Matcha. It perfectly balances the fruity flavor of strawberries with the earthy, slightly bitter notes of matcha green tea. It was incredibly delicious, and I think I finished the entire drink in just 2 minutes. I opted for less sweetness and almond milk, which provided the ideal level of sweetness without being overpowering. I stopped by to grab a drink the other day while I was in the area for work. The shop was clean and and just recently opened. There was a decent line but it moved fairly quickly and they were well-staffed and bringing drinks out pretty fast. There's a decent amount of seating for studying/doing work and I saw all of the tables occupied. I got the ube buttercream latte and it was very creamy and not too sweet which sort of surprised me. I was hoping for a little more ube flavor but I otherwise enjoyed my drink. I also got the kouign amann on the side and it was delicious and warmed up. One of the better ones that I've had at a coffee shop. When I'm in the area again, I'll try their matcha drinks and other pastries, those also looked appealing. I was there for their soft opening and the line was going out the door. But they move fast and drinks come out rather fast (maybe waited less than 10 mins for ours). I got their matcha latte ($6) 25% sweet and honestly wasn't too impressed by it. I think it's because it needed more sugar. I don't think they use sweetened powder which is a plus! And the drink was a nice shade of green, so they don't skimp on the amount they use! What was really good was their Mocha Latte ($5.75). It wasn't too sweet, chocolatey, and wasn't too hot (which is a great thing when sipping coffee). There aren't many seating options inside, just FYI. Came during their soft opening, so we thought it would take a while, but to our surprise it only took 15 minutres. We had their specialty, most popular drink which is their Vienna Coffee. It's definitely a 5/5 fun coffee. Strong espresso flavor topped with heavy cream/foam and cacao powder. I suggest drinking it without a straw so you get a bit of the drink and whipped topping in every sip. It's very unique and different than other coffee drinks I've tasted. Came here on a Sunday around 2pm. There was a line of maybe 7 people ahead of me. I waited about 10 mins to order and another 8 mins to get my drinks. I ordered the Vienna matcha latte and a matcha latte unsweetened. The cashier asked me if I was sure I wanted it unsweetened bc it can be pretty bitter. Hm, interesting. I'm very familiar with matcha and do prefer it unsweetened so I can actually taste the matcha and judge the matcha's quality so I told her I was sure. I also got the Vienna matcha bc everyone on yelp was raving about it. I didn't make any adjustments because I did want to try it how it's supposed to be. The Vienna matcha was good, but def too sweet for my liking. The cream foam was thick and delicious though. Next time I prob would ask for 50% sweetness. The matcha latte was pretty standard. One of the trendiest coffee shops in the South Bay. There other location is from Ktown so many people wanted to see what the buzz was about, me included! The wait has died down now that everyone has had a chance to get their coffee so my wait time was around 10 minutes. They are known for their "Vienna Series" or sweetened cream on top of their drinks. My first time I was not a fan, as I felt that it was too sweet even for a latte. But my second time back the cashier was more than helpful in helping me customize my drink (I went less sweet and less cream). And the coffee was definitely a lot better for me! We came on a Saturday morning around 8:30 AM, expecting a huge line since they just opened, but there was no line. They did have a lot of workers so I'm sure the service is quick even if there were a line. We got their Vienna Latte and Vienna Matcha, and both were just as good as I remember! Their drinks are great, and the cream on top adds a nice sweetness. It is a slightly thicker cream, so it was a little more difficult to get a nice balance when drinking since the cream would sort of clump together at the top. But either way, both drinks were so good! The coffee shop is located in a small plaza with plenty of free parking. I use to live very close to the yeems in Ktown and was so excited when they opened up in the south bay area! I've been coming to yeems way before they even had any branding on their cups or a logo. The Vienna cream is always delicious. The matcha itself isn't as strong as the ktown one or like it used to be but it was still good. I don't know how often I'd visit since it is $8 per latte and the matcha isn't strong, but it's a nice treat. The space is significantly larger than the ktown one but it's quite busy, so it may be difficult to get a table if you're looking to study. The opened mobile ordering is very nice as well. read more

I've always loved the Yeems in K-town and was so excited to hear they opened one up in Gardena because now I won't have to deal with the difficulties of K-town traffic and parking. There is a good amount of parking in the plaza where Yukdaejang and Jagalchi are located. I came on a Sunday morning around 9am and there was no line but while staying there it seemed people were waking up as it got busier and eventually by 10am there was a line out the door. I tried their Vienna Latte, Vienna Matcha, Vienna Black, and a few pastries. Their drinks were all so delicious and are definitely at peak taste when you first sip with a mix of cream and drink first. I found that as I mixed the cream and the drink together I liked the drink less as the creaminess of the drink became too much and overpowered the taste of the coffee/matcha flavor. The Vienna black is an americano base with their house cream on top so a better option if you want a lighter drink. Their pastries are solid and taste pretty good warmed up. Their cheese danish and apple danish were both flaky and I enjoyed the apple danish the most. New cafe just opened in town! There's one in K-town and now one here in Gardena. They replaced the old Moana Grill spot. Since they just opened, it was super busy even on a weekday morning at 10:00. There was a small line out the door but it moved quickly. The space gives that modern, clean, minimalistic cafe feel with only a handful of tables and seats. They do offer free wifi (ask the staff for the password) if you need to get some work done but when I was there, all the tables were already taken. I tried their iced Vienna Latte ($6.50) which is their bestseller and what they're known for as well as their iced Vienna Matcha ($7.25). The "Vienna" is referring to the cream they place on top. The Vienna Latte was delicious and well balanced in terms of coffee and sweetness but it was a little too milky for me. I will try the Vienna Black next time. The Vienna Matcha doesn't come sweetened but you can ask to add sweetener to it in various percentages. I got mine unsweetened and I enjoyed the slightly bitter matcha flavor before the cream got too mixed into it. I think the drinks taste best when they first come out. This isn't the type of drink you nurse and sip throughout the day... I found that the quality doesn't hold up over time. I was impressed by the quick service despite how busy they were in there with the constant orders coming in. They're a well oiled machine. They also sell a variety of pastries such as croissants, kouign amann, muffins, danishes, etc. You can check them out inside their glass display on the counter while you order at the register. I am always looking for new coffee places to try or hang out. I was browsing and came across that Yeems is opening in Gardena. So glad they did because they're not too far from work and they open at 7am! I treated myself a few times already and have tried their Ube latte, it was good not too sweet or not too bitter. The Ube was light and wasn't too overwhelming. I finished my latte in less than 10 minutes. The Buttercream latte was just as good a lightly sweeter especially compared to their most poplar Vienna latte. The Vienna latte is not sweeten but if mixed with their Cream on top, it balances out perfectly. Overall I don't have a favorite, I do love all 3 of their drinks I tried. This is my first time trying yeems coffee! I first seen it in ktown and it was always super busy. So when I saw it open down the street from me I knew it was a sign and I had to try it. I went around 12 and the line was out the door, not one seat available. The line went by really quickly as the workers were getting out the orders fast and efficiently. So so good! I'm so glad they opened up this location, so it's a little closer for me. I went twice this past long weekend. I love how there's an order online option too! The storefront is easy to spot on the street. For my first visit, I went on a Friday at around 11 AM. It wasn't too busy; the line was only indoors, but it gradually got busier as the day went on. The tables were full but I got lucky that someone left right when I got my drink. There were about 4 tables and a couple benches and chairs. On Monday (President's Day), the line went down 2 stores. The staff were really nice and attentive though despite the long lines! The wait for the drinks weren't too long either because there were plenty of baristas! I came there to work and there were ample outlets at the tables areas. I got the Vienna Latte and it was creamy and sweet! Wow, there's a Yeems Coffee in Gardena now? What a coincidence! Last month I visited their location in Koreatown and I didn't think they'd open a new location here! Perfect, because I feel the neighborhood's coffee scene is a little lacking. I'd usually have to drive to the bowels of Torrance to get decent coffee; which is not sustainable because it's over 20 mins. When I visited, they were EXTREMELY busy (as with most new stores nowadays). The line was snaking out the door. Disappointed, I almost turned back, but realized they have mobile ordering! This really saves so much time. Compared to their Koreatown location, this cafe's in a bigger space. There's more seating along the wall. If it weren't for the crowds, it'd be nice to sit and hang at the store. Prices are high. Around $5 for classic drinks and around $7 for the specialties. Wish it wasn't so expensive (especially if ordering it for take out). Might be worth it more if you hang out in store, since you'd be paying for the vibes (to do work in). Anyway, I recommend. Yeems Coffee is now officially in soft opening in the South Bay! This widely popular KTown spot now has another location and lines are forming out the door. They are located in a plaza with a decent amount of parking spots with street parking available as well. Wifey and I stopped by around 11am and waited about 15 minutes to order. Inside, they have a nice modern and minimalistic interior with about 4-5 tables for seating. For their menu, they have a solid selection of different espresso, matcha, tea, and speciality drinks. We opted to try the Ube Buttercream Latte and the Vienna Matcha. Overall, the drinks we had were delectable and we are glad we finally got the chance to try their drinks. Keep in mind that due to the shop's popularity, there may not be a lot of room for seating and to be patient with wait times. We will definitely be back again once they have settled in more.
