Pretty new to Thai cuisine. My lovely lass got me hooked on Nisa's over in Warrenton. Many of our mates who are quite versed in Thai cooking, food, etc. say that Nisa's is some of the best they have had domestically. We were excited to try Yellow Curry, as it is a quick drive / walk from our home. Service was pretty neutral. Food portions were small for the price point. Flavours were not blended well. We were pleased with the food! Its a cute little cafe, on the main street in Seaside, and we were hungry. Thai food sounded good. It wasnt easy to find even thought we passed by it in our car. The signage is easy to miss. Once inside, the decor is homey, but homey Americana, which was a bit confusing and amusing. Glad we tried the food though, had the country chicken pad thai, and it was great. My husband enjoyed his red curry. It is small and cozy, and the staff were very welcoming. read more

We went to this very little restaurant by our hotel from reading some reviews on yelp. I have always liked curry related foods. So I decided to order yellow curry to give it a try. It was not tasty with eggplant slices half cooked and some pieces didn't taste fresh. About 30 minutes after the meal my stomach started to roar. Something in the food gave me a very bad loose bowel. My Darling Husband, of Over 12 + Years, and myself ate Our Lunches here at Yellow Curry. It's a Thai Foods Restaurant in Seaside, Oregon. My Husband ordered the Drunken Noodles with Shrimp. He said it was Tasty. He ordered his Lunch " Medium Spicy. " I asked our Server about the Level of Spiciness of the Thai Ginger Stir Fry, and I was told that it was NOT Spicy. I ordered it with Shrimp. It comes with slices of Lemongrass, Ginger, and Other Vegetables... and it is Taaasty. I recommend it. My Lunch arrived with about a Cup of White Rice on the same plate. We both drank glasses of Water. We were the ONLY Customers in the Restaurant at the Time, ... so it was a short wait for our Lunches to arrive. Deeelicuos!!!! We had pa-nang curry. Even with a new cook it was superb. We eat Thai food all the time back home and were very pleased to find this joint while on vacation. Simple fried rice was also delicious. Service was fast and courteous. We have some to take home to the hotel next door. The drinks were also great my husband had an Alaskan Amber and I had the Merlot. No complaints-we will definitely be back. We even got a great recommendation for after hour drinks at a local spot-can't wait to try that place out too. Visiting Seaside as a vegan sucks. There's not much out there. Yellow Curry was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the special Mango Curry and it was delicious. Fried spring rolls are also vegan, a tasty fried treat (not much filling, but it's still fried deliciousness with a sweet dipping sauce). Fresh spring rolls tasted fine, but are kind of a rip off (4 rolls= 2 small rolls cut in half). The Thai Iced coffee and Thai Iced Tea can also be made with coconut milk or soy. Yes please! My boyfriend got the eggplant stir fry with tofu. It tasted fine but the eggplant was disappointing. I wouldn't suggest getting it, but you don't have to, so much on the menu can be made vegan. Stick with the curries if you're unsure what to order and you won't be disappointed. read more

Delicious food as far as everyone was concerned, with noticeably fresh ingredients. I got the panang curry. I'm pretty sure my blood is at least 10% curry at this point in my life. Where most curries fail, in my opinion, is just throwing in chili powder and the meat and not letting it cook into the dish, so the spice doesn't feel integrated and the meat's tough. We ordered Phad Thai (always judge by this item, it's easy to make and easy to tell if the place is authentic), Tom Ka soup which came in the hot pot which is another indicator of authentic Thai, and finally the Pannang Curry. I ordered takeout in November from this hidden gem in Seaside back to back and I was only there for two consecutive days. That should conclude how much I enjoyed their food. I had their Pad See Ew with Tofu and I loved how they included Chinese broccoli in the dish. That's how it should be in the ORIGINAL recipe.
