Yeah we have a hit here. Jacksonville you have to come try this new food option. The sticky buns are the bomb. But then again everything was delicious. The only thing missing was the lazy Susan but food was delish! My favorite was the Portugese Egg tart and abalone shumai. Our server was attentive and all smiles which you normally don't get often at a dimsum restaurant. The restaurant's interior was elegant and open. Hot oil had flavor and some heat which I loved. I'll always welcome a dim sum spot with open arms especially since our community has lacked these establishments for so long. The good -- overall service was fantastic. Loved our server - thanks Jordyn! Staff was friendly and accommodating, and while it has only been open for a short time in Jax, they are a well oiled machine. The restaurant is huge so plenty of seating and room to spread out. Food was delish--no cart service but every item is made to order. There's several items on their menu you will not find at other dim sum spots locally like CRABMEAT SHRIMP DUMPLINGS, SEAFOOD ABALONE SIU MAI, BLACK TRUFFLE SHRIMP DUMPLINGS. We enjoyed everything. My fave was stuffed eggplant --they do not skimp on the stuffing. And my daughter loved the crabmeat shrimp and black truffle shrimp dumplings. Their Shanghai soup dumplings were kinda puny so don't think I'll order those again. While I liked the rice rolls, the noodle was too thick. I'd order it again but take smaller bites. The pineapple buns and chrysanthemum tea hit the spot, too. They had a nicely priced non-dim sum lunch menu on with a variety of items, so I'll def try that next time. Will def come back. read more

Shout out to Lily S and staff for a wonderful meal. Lily was professional, friendly, and so helpful with helping us make good decisions about our dining choices. My husband and I both wanted the salt and pepper shrimp. Great minds think alike :) We were not prepared how delicious and perfectly crunchy these were! And the legend: (Salt & pepper mix - fresh green onions, cilantro, jalapeño roasted garlic, and minced chili)! Amazing! Life changing! We made sure none of this crunchy, savory, awesomeness was wasted! We couldn't stop eating it! Even though it is served with a sweet chili sauce, the salt and pepper mix won our hearts! Kiki was kind enough to bring us red chili oil as well to add to anything. Hubby had his favorite Tom yum soup.. this one was loaded with all kinds of seafood and okra! He was so impressed! I had Lily's suggestion, Beef chow fun! Amazing!!! Wide rice noodles, tender beef, bean sprouts, and green onions all kissed by the smoke of the wok!!! Masterpiece!!! Every bite made me want the next bite! We could taste the LOVE in this dishes! I asked for Chinese broccoli in garlic sauce which was savory and still had a wonderful crunch to it! Yummmmm! And I begged for any pork BBQ bun that might be lingering in the kitchen! Lily blessed us with 3 baked BBQ buns! The pork transcends me back to my Foodie happy place where all my favorite food is served! This bbq filling is everything I remember from all the best Chinese restaurants and bakeries around the country! And then Lily served us a nice bowl of warm red bean and tapioca dessert to complement our dinner. Did I mention that they have 3 types of hot tea: green, jasmine, and oolong. We had oolong. Lily kept our tea pot and tea cups full. Lily said that we must come back and try the lunch Dim Sum which is 7 days a week! I am glad that the chef has time to rest after the Dim Sum service. Good was very good and the price was very reasonable. You get a ton of food even at lunch.

It's frozen food with a fine dining price point. Had a good time with my friend and the service was top notch, food came out quick. But I will never go back for food because the cost is just unreasonable for clearly cheap quality. Wasn't terrible food to be honest, just the ambience trying to be fancy with the price point was sending mixed messages. read more

We have had dinner here and wanted to come back for dim sum. Some of our favorite dishes were a little different but that's a good thing. The service is excellent and we will make come again soon. Follow-up We had dinner with family the other night and was surprised that a bowl of rice is an extra charge no matter what dish is ordered. This was our 1st visit to this restaurant so we ordered a plethora of items. We ordered the smallest of each plate and it was enough for 2 to share. They bring out items in random order and then scratch off the receipt when you get the item. Came to YH Dim Sum for dinner. If you were expecting dim sum at night, sad to disappoint you but unfortunately dim sum is only at lunch. Although we couldn't try their dim sum their regular menu was amazing as well. The staff were super friendly and attentive to us while waiting on us. The place is still new so it has this new restaurant feel to it. Dishes are definitely meant to be shared so grab some friends and order a lot from the menu and dig in family style! We really enjoyed our dim sum experience as it was similar to our experience to YH Seafood Clubhouse in Orlando. There are no carts and you order off the menu. They will put a little receipt with your order on the edge of the table and as the servers bring out your dishes, they will cross it off the receipt. Our server, Helen, was very attentive. A spacious location that serves dim sum all day. If they are related to Orlando YH seafood, Orlando is way better. I would give it a 3 1/2 but closer to a 4. Food was good but doesnt make a prioity when Im in town that i need to stop here. I was there for dinner. The rice rolls were to elastic/hard to cut but still good. Im use to soft ease of chopstick cutting without a struggle. Shrimp dumpling great, beef ball heavy texture not soft again as im use to. Sticky rice taste ok but i think its not worth. Went here during the weekend with a group. The menus were a little overwhelming for me as they have so much , but our group stuck mostly to dim sum. I was a little disappointed that they don't have a cart on the weekends, but the food came out pretty fast. I just like to see things whether it's pictures on a menu or displayed on the cart. A bit hit and miss. We ordered almost the entire dim sum menu among six of us for a weekend lunch. The Peking Duck was nice and most of the steamed items were quite good. But I felt that the fried items were the best bites we had that day. The fried shrimp balls, in particular, were exemplary. All I can say is WOW! and not in a good way. Went on a Monday night. Got there at 7:15pm and was promptly seated by a hostess/server. Sat at the table for 15 mins without anyone coming over to get our drink order or check on us. The place was not busy, maybe 4 or 5 tables of diners. It wasn't until we stood up to leave our table at 7:30pm that someone came over. Too late at that point. To preface this, when the hostess/server was first seating us, she was taking us to one of the middle tables, we asked to sit at a table on the side (by a wall). This apparently was not to her liking. After she sat us, she went to clear another table and was doing so loudly (loud enough another server went to check on her. This was our 5th visit since they opened last year and quite an anomaly since we normally have had great service. I have noticed that they have a high turnover rate with many of their servers. Maybe we will come back after a few months and give them another try. The night wasn't a complete wash, we ended up going to Pho Today and had good food and good service. read more

They were very accommodating to our party of five.. calamari app was excellent and a generous size..as were the entrees. First visit to YH Dim Sum but certainly won't be the last! The huge restaurant is bright & decorated beautifully! Service was a bit disjointed but all questions were answered & all the dishes our group had were delicious! I had the appetizer of "Salt & Pepper Calamari" for my lunch. Huge portion I shared with others, ate for my lunch along with a bowl of "Vegetable Hot & Sour Soup" and still brought enough for another meal!
