I saw a post about poor quality products, but I've always had a great experience and excellent quality. The one time I wasn't 100% satisfied they offered to do my nails again. They have always taken feedback well and been so sweet and gracious to their guests. My mom lives in Florida and goes out of her way to make an appointment whenever we are in town, and I've recommended Lusso to many friends. Love it here!

Every technician takes their time and they always make sure to confirm you love the color/design and the shape before doing a full set (which I really appreciate). Luminous does accept walk-ins, but I usually try to make an appointment ahead of time to make their day easier. I've recently taken a break from manicures, but I was consistently getting SNS manicures here month to month and loved the way they did my almond shape - they always looked perfect. My first time there she even gave me a shoulder massage even though it wasn't part of the pedicure I ordered. They accommodated us immediately and didn't mind us gabbing on and on catching up after not seeing each other for a while. The color selection is large enough that I found my go to shade fairly quickly. We opted for the powdered milk highest end pedicure and a basic manicure. Heavenly! My polish got smudged twice and while they were quick to fix it, I wish they'd just redone that particular toe nail over instead of spot correcting since it was fairly evident that portion of the nail did not match the rest. I let it go in the interest of time, but after leaving I noticed even my finger nails could have used a second coat. I could visibly see the polish lines. Got home after some errands and the spot corrected nail had completely ruined, which was frustrating. All on me for not being vocal, but a bit disappointing since I simply trusted that it'd be done right. Went to pay and almost completed my transaction before my gf noticed they had a 20% discount advertised, but they didn't apply it to our bills. Had she not said anything, I would have paid the full price and gone about my day. I stood at the counter for about 10 minutes, and not a single employee acknowledged my presence or attempted to assist me. However, they did all see me walk through the door. .Shortly after, two Caucasian women entered the salon and were immediately greeted. A man even came out from the back, walked directly past me without saying a word, and went straight to help them--even though I was standing in front of them and they arrived 10 minutes after I did. Please note, I am a Black American. At that point, I calmly asked him why I was being ignored as if I were invisible. He had no explanation. The way I was treated was deeply disrespectful and felt like racial discrimination. No customer should be made to feel overlooked or less important. Based on this experience, I will not be supporting this establishment and I will not recommend to others. I will also be contacting the BBB to share my experience.
