I've ordered twice to my office. The delivery is so fast and the food is so good! The Avgolemono the first time made me order again. Tops in customer service. I ordered the soup for lunch 1 day & the beef/lamb yeero platter for the rest of the week. Lemon potatoes instead of fries are a nice change. Unfortunately they had forgotten the tzatziki/salad dressing & offered to bring it right away. It was for today so as promised they brought it to my office today & threw in a dessert. Food is pretty good, portions are small. Chicken souvlaki was fatty and mostly dark meat, good flavoring. Beef/lamb gyro was strangely shredded, also good flavor. One "platter" came with 3 small wedges of lemon potatoes. The other a very small handful of soggy fries, smaller than you would expect for a children's portion. Soup full of chicken, good but a bit bland. Greek salad that comes with "platter" is also very small, but good. Gave plenty of pita bread, grilled and seasoned. Great tzatziki. Biggest complaint was the take out boxes, like tiny lunchables compartments. Get rid of them! Leave out the shredded cabbage salad and give more of the sides. I'd rather spend a couple of dollars more and have a decent size portion. We will go back in a few weeks once the obvious kinks have been fixed. Very nice people. read more

Brought in their food last evening for the first, and last time. The place is small, with only four tables for four in the front, and a few very high tiny tables along the wall, with bar-height chairs. The salad was long strings of slivered lettuce, a few small tiny cubes of feta, one olive, and the dressing had no flavor. Had to add salt, which I hate doing. The chicken souvlaki consisted of two dried out skewers we had to shave off the wooden stick with a knife. They would not slide off. They were that dry. Thank goodness for the very tiny container of yogurt sauce to save it. The dinner platter had a huge pile of raw red cabbage. Yuck. The three lemon potatoes were good. Piles of sliced unflavored bland, soft tomatoes and slices of onion were also on the platter with one piece of pita. The dinner was dry, mostly tasteless and most went into the garbage. We will stick with the other Greek restaurants in the area. read more

Finally! Our prayers have been met. Moving to LI from Queens, where we were exposed to the best Greek food, we haven't found a good casual dining Greek restaurant serving the classic gyro sandwich and platters. Yiasou Yeeros opened less than a year ago and I'm glad we ventured here from Jericho to give them a try. Although they aren't a full service casual restuarant....it's much prefer over Uncle Pete's Famous Atlantic Gyro in Hicksville and Gyrolicious in Jericho. Kids ordered the beef and lamb gyro platter and it was tasty....the texture was a bit different from gyros we had in Queens, hard to explain but definitely different, however, the flavors were there so I am giving them 4 stars. Like all casual greek dining places, they served the platter with homemade tzatziki sauce, pita bread, salad with another side choice for $12.95. Kids chose french fries and they were fresh-cut with herbs and not frozen which is a plus. The pita bread was grilled and very good.... not the regular supermarket package versions that dry and served toasted or heated up. I ordered the beet salad with feta cheese (not goat cheese but still good), walnuts and EVOO balsamic drizzle. MUST TRY if you like beets. It was a very large salad for $8.95 and you can add a meat or seafood protein for an extra $5.50 or $7.95. The beets were so filling, luckily i didn't add to the salad and I'm not a small eater...I can usually finish a gyro platter myself. They definitely listened to their customers and changed their portions based on prior reviews from when they first opened. Love a business who listens to their customers. Hopefully past negative reviewers would give them another try. FYI...I'm an Asian from Queens and is not related to the owners or paid to write this review as some people previously implied. The dining area is small with 4 tables for 4 in front with a few high bar stool tables on the side. They had more takeout than eat in. They cashiers were constantly packing takeout orders for pick up. I don't know if they have delivery. read more

Horrible food. Take out Spinach pie on a Tuesday evening was a soggy mess, that appeared to be leftover from a prior day. Inedible. Went back the next day to speak to owner, and she couldn't care less about my complaints, and then had the audacity to tell me to "have a nice day" on my way out. Will not go back. To respond to Owners comments, it was AFTER I was told to "have a nice day" that I responded with an explicative. In addition, I was not offered another meal, but told by the owner that she had the spinach pie for lunch that day (Wednesday), and it was "wonderful". read more

I was excited to see that there was a Greek restaurant that would deliver all the way to Melville . When I put the phone call in the young lady on the phone did not seem thrilled at all to be taking my order and came off a little rude . We Ordered 2 lamb gyros and a side of hummus for takeout.. I was a little thrown off by how small the gyros were for 9$ each. The meat was flavored well, but I wish they put more in them. All they had was 2 very thin pieces of tomato, a few strands of red onion and way too much taziki sauce and 3 French fries.. They also forgot to give us pita with our hummus, which I was upset about because I was really looking forward to that. I don't think I would order here again based on my first experience. read more

I've been here several times with my mom and we love the food. I've referred several people, unfortunately I won't be back. The lady at the counter was very rude to me after I had to come back to pick up yogurt sauce that comes with the order and the extra 1 I paid for that they forgot to put in bag. Update: This week we decided to give them another try. My wife's chicken gyro was noticeable larger, my Greek salad was full to the rim and the lamb gyro meat was a much thicker cut. They really took all the feedback and turned this restaurant around for the best! The prices are still high, as with most things on Long Island, but the portion are more proportional. I'm glad they're heading in the right direction and we look forward to making this a weekly dinner spot. read more

I was anxious to try this place after reading good reviews on Facebook. I made it over there for lunch a week ago and have been back twice. First time I had the chicken yeero lunch special. For $9.95 you get a yeero, and a choice of 2 sides; fries, soup, or greek salad. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and delicious. Fries were fresh cut and greek salad was good. Next visit I tried the platter, which comes with a larger portion of chicken, larger salad and a choice of rice, lemon potatoes, or rice. Lemon potatoes were awesome. They have a pork yeero on Tuesdays so of course I had to check that out. Delicious. Will go out of my way for this food. read more

Being that I was brought up by a family that loved to cook, and especially Greek food, I was very interested to try this new neighborhood restaurant. The restaurant has very few tables near the front entrance since it seems to be promoting take out. All joking aside, they have chosen a neighborhood that is very popular for takeout dinners. What first impressed me about the restaurant was that they had two working spits, one for Lamb and one for Beef, unlike another Greek Restaurant in a nearby strip mall. We were eager to try the Gyro Meats with Beef and Lamb as a platter. I also ordered the Zucchini Chips. The Chips were greasy and the gyro meat was not very moist, instead somewhat dry. But in fairness to this new restaurant, we did not try some of the other traditional Greek menu items that would provide us a better overall review of the restaurant. read more

We order lunch from here every week. The food has always been good. The portions are big enough to share which we do sometimes. The gyros are good the fries in them are a good addition. I love the roasted chicken def my favorite dish. The sauces go really well with the meats. read more

First time visiting this restaurant and I got the beef/lamb Yeerio and I have to say the sandwich was very good. The meat was very light and juicy. It comes with French fries, tomato and onion. We just left with our doggy bag. We decided to try this restaurant after going to Uncle Pete's in hicksville & it was closed. The bathroom was not clean, nor were the tables wiped down. WOW - just wow! Ok, for starters: the food is great. This is authentic gyros (not that straight-from-the-freezer grossness that others sell). The flavors are as close to perfect as you can get. The portion sizes are VERY good - my family went home with plenty of leftovers. At our last outing we had souvlaki, gyros, potatoes, pitas, and they all were cooked to perfection. Try the cold mountain tea (tu vunu?) - really nice if you've tasted Greek mountain tea! The location is small - just a few tables. I see it as mostly a take-out place, with a few tables to eat-in. I'm glad this place is in my town, I'm a big fan of Greek food and I have tried all different spots but this one is a 4* only because the fries were saggy, we ordered for take out. I would recommend to use aluminum container instead of plastic to keep the food hot and fresh, otherwise the food was tasty and flavorful. read more

Best Greek place ever! Come here on a daily basis for lunch, conveniently order online and food is always ready when you get there, extremely friendly staff and owners. Ordered 2 chicken gyros from this place and salmon. Does not even look like chicken, might be lamb, or its just the bad pieces of the chicken. Does not have the look of the typical chicken gyro you order across long island. Half the pieces look fatty and unchewable on mine. Not worth the call back to complain .... needless to say ill pass on a return visit. To be fair the salmon was good. read more
