I love YNOT's. The Ghent location was my favorite, but since they shut down years ago, this is my favorite. Their eggplant parm is like no other. It's my absolutely favorite. Service is always pretty generic- nothing out of this world to rave about, but I normally like to sit outside, where servers often forget about tables during non busy seasons. Serious loads of garlic on the garlic knot app, and the accompanying marinara is very good; not too sweet, not too acidic. Tastes very fresh. I'm a sucker for a good slice of pizza! I'm also a big fan of garlic knots!! I'm like a thin crust pizza and garlic knots with lots of garlic. Ynot is pretty good not bad, not New York pizza , but it work. The thin crust slice of cheese pizza is pretty good. The first time I ordered the slice it didn't have enough cheese for me so this time when I ordered I requested extra cheese fresh mozzarella!! It was pretty good. The garlic knots are okay but I have a place I used to go to in CT that makes the best garlic knots. I have not found anywhere that makes them as good as them!! Will I go back to Ynot of course why wouldn't I! Not too many places sells slices and I love a good slice of cheese!! The service was quick I don't bother ordering ahead because it's just a slice of pizza and it really doesn't take long. Don't let the outside dissuade you from eating here. It's an old refurbished fast food restaurant, which is so cool. For the first hour me and my best friend were trying to research online to see what the place used to be no luck though lol. This place is solid. Not outstanding but solid. Some things are done very well. Today I did a Door Dash order. I ordered the kids Spaghetti with marina sauce, side meatball, Cyndis Salad and the Florentine Calzone. Delivered right on time and hot. The kids spaghetti was HUGE and enough for 2 meals. The salad was full of feta cheese. The most I have seen on a salad.....I loved it!!! The meatball came with so much sauce that I am bringing the sauce home and using it for some pasta that I will cook. They did not skimp at all. The meatball was tender with good flavor. And the Calzone was yummy. Maybe a little smaller than others but it was delicious. I definitely got 2-3 meals out of this order. No pictures....I was at work and didn't think of it. You had up all the fees and taxes and a $70 no $65 meal turns into $100 I would never go to this place with the outrageous prices. A nice experience. Ynot offers several pasta dishes as well as pizza. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan with fettuccine on the side. The meals come with complimentary bread. The chicken was thick and moist. The breading was done well, and the tomato sauce had a lot of tomato. It was also thick with a good flavor. The noodles were cooked perfectly. Our server was nice and understanding. We had 5 people in our group, and we showed up at different times. She worked with us, and our food was served not long after ordered. The seating has tables and booths. Ynot is not fancy but has a modern decor. Overall, it was a very nice experience. read more

We took our grandchildren to ynot before going to see the lights at ocean front last night. We ordered the margarita pizza and it was the worse pizza we have ever eaten. It came with what looked and tasted like chopped can tomatoes on it , no sauce, basil or cheese, just bread with the tomatoes. We all just scraped the tomatoes off and ate the bread. We didn't want to upset the children by complaining while we were having soooo much fun. read more

They gave me the wrong pasta, the bread wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. The food had taken a bit long to be served and was pricey. I wouldn't suggest what I had which was the chicken parmigiana but the desserts and pastries looked pretty good. Again very pricey but the service I received was ok. Ynot, more like don't bother. I've ordered from the Chesapeake and VB locations multiple times. Pizza is ok. Not the best but being from Philly, you're hard pressed to find a good New York style pizza around here. I've ordered the Margarita multiple time - so I know what to expect. Tonight, however, was unmatched. I apparently somehow ordered an extra crust pizza with a microscopic amount of cheese and extra extra sauce. I honestly don't know how someone thought that was ok to give to a paying customer. The store is a 20 minute drive plus it was a 50 minute wait - my husband picked it up and after being at urgent care all day with our 4 month old there was no driving back and asking for it to be remade. I half salvaged it by adding some shredded mozzarella I had and putting it in the toaster oven. However, the quality of what I paid for ($20) was sub par and unacceptable. read more

After weeks of texts inviting me to order delivery from Ynot Italian I gave in and ordered a 10" Florentine pizza with three cheeses and I paid extra to add olives, mushrooms, pineapple and sausage. When the pizza arrived the only thing on it other than the cheese was black olives and these flat thin pieces of something I guess they consider sausage but was not edible. Undercooked chicken and incorrectly prepared orders are a regular occurrence. It's hard to mess up a pizza when they aren't awesome in the first place. 10+ Years ago it was descent. Seems like hawking tickets for motivational speaking is more important than QA on the food. Haven't eaten inside in 4 years, delivery only. How do you screw up a single order so badly? I ordered the chicken parmigiana platter and selected the side item of spaghetti with bolognese sauce and a side Caesar salad. First problem was they didn't put the salad in the bag. But wait! There's more. Here's what I found in the bag once I got home. The side pasta they gave me was penne pasta, not spaghetti. The sauce was not bolognese, it was Marinara. The chicken was drier than hell. The side salad was not a Caesar salad, just a garden salad and a great many pieces of the lettuce were rotten. On the bright side, the roll was okay. This was a complete waste of $23. Based upon this fubar order, I'd recommend a name change to Why Ynot? We won't be coming back again. Think I'll stick with Sal's NY Slice instead. At least they can read the order and care about getting it right. read more

I am giving Ynot 3 stars only because their staff is super friendly and they gave me free petit fours when I ordered 3 pastries/cakes to go. But if this review is purely on the food, it would be 2 stars for their cakes leave much to be desired. The cakes are very dry, the tiramisu cake didn't have the coffee flavor that you'd expect from tiramisu cakes. The lemon cake looks like the one served at Olive Garden but so much drier and no Hint of lemon at all however subtle. The only thing that was okay was the eclair but even that, the eclair wasn't soft. I think they have pre-sliced the cake that caused them to be dry. Not sure if they were baked fresh that day. Wanted to like them but didn't. read more

Had a delightful dinner with drinks and appetizers along with our entrees. Our server was Chloe and she went above and beyond her duties to make sure everything was as perfect as it could be. If there were more servers like Chloe, dining out would be that much better because if the personal care she gives. When you visit, be sure to ask for her! The caprese salad was good, and the Stromboli and Calzone were freshly made and serviced perfectly browned from the oven and piping hot I should also state that Teresa was running the bar section and she knows how to make the perfect cocktail. The only reason I'm doing this review is that the food has consistently gone down at the Great Neck location. Tonight was the last straw. We spent almost $60 for a delivery tonight. We ordered our favorite boneless wings. One was BBQ and the other garlic Parmesan. They both came with rotten celery. I took photos and wish I could share them. The boneless wings were cooked so hard that they were impossible to eat. And the pepperoni pizza had a hair in it. So unbelievable! I ended up cooking dinner for my family any way. Do better. We keep giving them chances considering we live less than a minute up the road and we always do pick up. They've fallen short too many times. Mozzarella sticks were cold, solid and not hot. Not worth almost $10. I'll make my own from now on or order somewhere else. Pizza lacks cheese. Just the basic amount they cannot provide, too many times we got our pizza an mostly bread with sauce. We have always had great service and food. I did a pick up order as always but my son asked for a side caesar salad. When I picked it up, I saw how small it was so I confirmed the 9.44 charge for it. As I left, I felt by principle I shouldn't pay for that much for a small salad. They gave a refund but the owner asked after I got the refund what the problem was so I had the young man pull the salad out of the bag and I explained that I felt that I couldn't pay for this small of a salad that wasn't even completely full for that price by principle. Side garden is 5.24 but side caesar is 9.44 and it wasn't even full. He didn't acknowledge or even try to explain why the price was so high and asked if I was happy with the rest of the food I ordered. I said yes and he said great, have a good day. This owner has always been very nice and respectful; however, I felt completely dismissed and disrespected because he didn't acknowledge anything I said. One thing I've learned in life is when someone is upset, it's important to acknowledge their feelings and concerns regardless if you can do anything. We will not go back and its unfortunate as we always went to this location because of the great customer service. read more
