Order the spicy Salmon Teriyaki Bowl, looks NOTHING like images online or other Yogi Grill restaurant. It's not in a bowl and it comes with vegetables. Salmon was super dry and there was no teriyaki. I like dressing my bowl up with green onions and with lemons and all the dressings Yogis Grill has out but this isn't an option here. Disappointing. A few weeks ago I was up there they locked the doors at 8:45. Few people walked up to the door and were not let in. I tried placing a phone order August 1, 2024 @8:26 PM. When I called the young lady that picked up, quickly rambled off to say in the end, we are no longer taking phone orders. Clearly I live 5 minutes away and showed up at the store within that timeframe but refused to order because of lack of service. I think that's quite interesting, when in fact the store hours are posted on their website & front of door. Absolutely avoid this place. They cannot make sushi and then whenever we ask to try to make it right they won't and he will do nothing but argue and tell you, the customer that you are the problem!!! Then tell you all you want is money and food. I reminded him I didn't eat it and then ask for a refund and if he would just smell it he can tell it's really bad. Thank goodness for Yogis Grill! Every now and then you crave a teriyaki bowl. I had a bowl at the Yogis on Peoria last week, and woke up craving one , again. I saw that this location was only about a 15-20 minute drive from my house so I drove down for an early lunch. I decided to go with their lunch special (honestly, it's not a super killer deal as far as saving money, you basically get a soda for $1.00, so you may save .50 cents or something compared to normal prices. But still...it does save you a little $$.) of a chicken/beef combo bowl and a drink. My total was just over $10.00. Not bad considering this is 2 full meals. Here is how it was........... Large Chicken/Beef Combo Bowl- When I opened the container, I knew I was in for something good! This thing looked perfect! It had tons of chicken and beef covered in sauce sitting on top of a huge mound of rice. I took a bite of the beef side first, since I hadn't tried their beef before. Happy to say, it was delicious! It was chopped up into little fine pieces, almost like carne asada. It was char grilled perfectly and had a great texture. I dug into the chicken next and I knew what to expect. Once again, delicious! Perfect char, no funky pieces...a damn fine teriyaki bowl. I ate half of my bowl and saved the rest for dinner later that night. It was just as good warmed up in the microwave a few hours later (could have used a little extra sauce, but it was delicious none the less.)! I am glad to know that this is here, close to the house. This bowl tasted better than the one at the Peoria location, and will be my go to going forward. The lady taking my order was friendly, and this place is rather large and very clean/open/new looking. Went to this location thinking I placed it here and I was rudely told no, they didn't have it and that I had to call/email a district manager for the order to be transferred and made there. After many attempts to call/email the district manager, I soon changed my decision to just get a refund for the order. I ask her why because there was 3 tables of people eating in she said they were closing at 7:00 and at this point it was 6:30 pm so we had plenty of time to order and get our food and dine in and I told her we would be gone by 7 o'clock at this point the girl told me if you eat in I will call the police and stopped at that. I told her fine I'm going to eat in and I'm going to be done and out of here by 7 o'clock and you're sign says that you close at 8 PM and so does your website. Tried calling in our order prior to arriving and no one answered the phone. We then had to wait 30 mins for four sushi rolls, which is way too long. 3.5 stars Struggled over what to score this little spot. Stopped by and tried the large beef teriyaki and it was good. Was it the best, no, but better than I was expecting. Only real issue was the staff appeared brand new and did not know the menu at all. The young man was very nice but clearly a new employee. The issue does not fall on him but the management who is not properly training the young fella and throwing him to the wolves. In looking at previous reviews, management seems to be a regular issue. Horrible customer service! I got home with my order to find out it was the wrong order. When I took it back, they acted like it was my fault they gave me the wrong order. The cooks were talking about me in Spanish which I understood and they were angry they had to remake my order. While I was standing there, they got a phone call about another customer getting a wrong order with the same name. It was their mistake but they wouldn't admit it. Will not go back to this location. Most of the cooks did not have masks on even though they require customers to wear masks. I would give this place no stars if I could. read more

Would not recommend trying there Chicken Katsu. The chicken was beaten to the thinnest and then breaded and deep fried to where it was like eating cardboard.
