    Spicy Tuna bowl
    Althea G.

Ordered spicy tuna bowl but inquired about substitution for regular tuna by which the cashier responded there's" no bottom for that". So I inquired if she could ask which she refused. The bowl was good and as advertised, spicy. I learned from this experience that this is not the place to go for customization, what's on the menu are your options

One of our dishes had pieces of chicken cartilage in it. When I called to advise the restaurant the employee who answered was very dismissive and rude. I emailed customer service 3 days ago and have yet to get a response. Be careful. The pieces were large enough to be a choking hazard for a c

not so sure why this place doesn't have better reviews! i've come in on several different occasions- each time being welcomed kindly and the food was great! my only "complaint" would be that the sushi rolls are sliced pretty thick so it's difficult to take bites other than that i'm happy to call this place one of my regular stops!

Large Combo (Beef and Chicken) Bowl. Delicious! 2 meals worth!

Thank goodness for Yogis Grill! Every now and then you crave a teriyaki bowl. I had a bowl at the Yogis on Peoria last week, and woke up craving one , again. I saw that this location was only about a 15-20 minute drive from my house so I drove down for an early lunch. I decided to go with their lunch special (honestly, it's not a super killer deal as far as saving money, you basically get a soda for $1.00, so you may save .50 cents or something compared to normal prices. But still...it does save you a little $$.) of a chicken/beef combo bowl and a drink. My total was just over $10.00. Not bad considering this is 2 full meals. Here is how it was........... Large Chicken/Beef Combo Bowl- When I opened the container, I knew I was in for something good! This thing looked perfect! It had tons of chicken and beef covered in sauce sitting on top of a huge mound of rice. I took a bite of the beef side first, since I hadn't tried their beef before. Happy to say, it was delicious! It was chopped up into little fine pieces, almost like carne asada. It was char grilled perfectly and had a great texture. I dug into the chicken next and I knew what to expect. Once again, delicious! Perfect char, no funky pieces...a damn fine teriyaki bowl. I ate half of my bowl and saved the rest for dinner later that night. It was just as good warmed up in the microwave a few hours later (could have used a little extra sauce, but it was delicious none the less.)! I am glad to know that this is here, close to the house. This bowl tasted better than the one at the Peoria location, and will be my go to going forward. The lady taking my order was friendly, and this place is rather large and very clean/open/new looking. I'll be back very soon!

Ok so, I guess if you order the chicken or beef it may be cooked well done. Well, just a heads up if you decide you wanna try the salmon just know they cook it 5 damn times. Like over kill. Idk why even offer if you're gonna make salmon jerky out of it. But go off Yogi's grill.

This is the district managers response to me getting a refund.
    Arianna B.

I placed an order for this location by accident. Went to this location thinking I placed it here and I was rudely told no, they didn't have it and that I had to call/email a district manager for the order to be transferred and made there. After many attempts to call/email the district manager, I soon changed my decision to just get a refund for the order. After being ignored since Friday (September 19th) I finally got a reply today, September 19th, simply telling me no to a refund, and that I'm forced to pay for the food I never got. :) Worse experience and rude manager & district manager.

This 1 star review is based on employee dress code and hygene only. I visited this establishment today to enjoy my favorite chicken teriyaki rice bowl in town. Upon entering i was disturbed to see my food being prepared by gentleman in cut off sleeves with no gloves. Im sorry yogis... but i couldnt get past the thought of that young mans arm pit hair (which was fully exposed mind you) dropping into my rice bowl and getting stuck between my teeth. PLEASE FIX THIS! Up until now my overall rating would be 4 stars. I have always gotten the chicken teriyaki bowl and its consistantly prepared well and has good flavor. They also support military, fire, and ems personnel as well which i appriciate. YOGIS MANAGEMENT... PLEASE SEE TO IT THAT THE CUT OFF SHIRT AND ARMPIT HAIR GET HANDLE... THANK YOU IN ADVANCE. The gentleman seen here was cooking before he came up front to package food.

A true one‑star experience is foreign objects in the food, cold meals, or no service at all -- and that's not what I experienced. I ordered takeout, and when I got home the food was still hot. I had the shrimp egg foo young and BBQ pork fried rice. The egg foo young was excellent, and the portion size of the fried rice -- along with the amount of BBQ pork -- was generous. This is easily a solid four‑star experience, maybe higher depending on what you order. I've lived on the west side for years, and I still haven't found a better Chinese takeout spot in the area. One last note: I'm a veteran, and they gave me a military discount, which I appreciated.

I couldn't tell you the timeframe of when the current ownership took it over from the previous owner when I first started frequenting Eest. The change was immediately felt. The level of customer care and taste of food changed. Not for the worst, but different. My last visit this month for an order of shrimp fried rice was my final straw and I will find somewhere else to find some food. It has been a very slow spiral downward with the quality of food. I am talking years where the consistency was slipping. Then last month it was as if they forgot what they were doing. What was served to me was edible, but nowhere near what I have been given in the past. I hope it was a bad day for the kitchen for the establishment's sake! Call in takeout orders have been a speed bump. You call in and you're quoted a time of when your order will be ready. You pay for your order when you get there. Then the clock starts. It totally defeats the purpose of the original quoted timeframe.

Wonton soup was not wonton soup, but masses of vegetables in a liquid! 2. The fresh shrimp rolls, was again just full of chopped vegetables and one shrimp per roll! 3. The chicken satay, was so skinny, literally no meat! 4. The Pad Thai, was disgusting, again full of vegetables and just a ball of noodles thrown in. There was no proper Thai cuisine preperation here! 5. The Pa-Nang curry, again had its fair share of vegetables. and the skinniest pieces of chicken I have ever seen. To top it off we paid $92.58 for what should have been a delightful meal, the bulk of which ended up in the trash can, disgusting! I am sure that there are far better Thai restaurants in the west valley. This one you need to avoid at all costs, PS. I have lived in Thailand and this cuisine wasn't even close. Respectfully. G

Their food is consistently the same no matter how busy it is, most recently during a heavy dinner hour - prime time. Yes, expect to wait, we started the 30 plus wait time out side and then inside in the small waiting area. It's not fancy by any means. TVs with a game on, servers moving about, and a steady stream of to go orders. We had King Pao Chicken, Beef with broccoli and Mongolian Beef. Also Wongs fried rice & appetizer plate and soups. I had hot & sour soup, absolutely delicious, a little spicy as it should be. My Mongolian Beef was probably the best prepared, very tender beef and flavorful I've had, and always consistently the same each visit. The other entrees severed were equally flavorful, tender meats and served fresh & hot. Servers are kind and knowledgeable of each dish and offer suggestions of their favorites. The seating area is in need of updating but very clean, as are the restrooms. But it's about the quality, quantity & consistency that keeps me returning. Just go!

You order at the counter when you walk in, and they bring food out when it's ready. There were 5 of us so we decided to get the family meal deal plus some extras. Items ordered from the meal deal were - Teriyaki Chicken, Orange Chicken, Shrimp Broccoli (up charge), Macaroni Salad, & Vegetable Lo Mein (up charge). Other items we got were - Crab Rangoons, Spring Rolls, Spam Fried Rice, and Katsu Chicken. For drinks, we had ordered the Blueberry Smoothie and a couple of Thai Teas. Needless to say, we had a ton of food! The items we enjoyed most were the Teriyaki Chicken which came atop a bed of cabbage and broccoli, Fried Rice (although, I'd probably get it with a different protein, spam wasn't my personal choice but it was good), the Shrimp Broccoli, as well as the Spring Rolls & Crab Rangoons. The two dishes that had vegetables were my favorites since the chicken & shrimp were cooked well and the vegetables were done well, crunchy and satisfying. The appetizers were fried nicely, crispy. The smoothie and Thai Tea were good. The Orange Chicken wasn't bad but had more breading than I prefer and also the sauce all pooled to the bottom, it just needed to have been tossed a little more. Macaroni Salad was as expected but nothing special, same with the Chicken Katsu but the sauce was pretty good. The Vegetable Lo Mein is probably the only dish I'd say to skip altogether; overall, bland compared to the other items. If you're in the area, check them out. They were very friendly and efficient in getting everything out to us quickly!

From an Asian food perspective, I'd give it a 2/5 -- otherwise maybe closer to a 3/5 overall. Service was average, and the overall atmosphere felt more Hispanic-inspired than Japanese fusion. The mango margarita was actually great though -- definitely my favorite part of the experience. As for the food, nothing really stood out. The edamame was overly cooked and mushy. The chicken and shrimp fried rice was disappointing because the chicken tasted hard and chewy, almost feels like leftover chicken reheated. The calamari was okay, very bland, nothing special. The bathroom could also use some work, especially if the restaurant is aiming for a slightly more upscale environment. Overall, if you're coming for the fusion vibe and drinks, you may enjoy it. Although, I'd still probably go to another fusion restaurant with better quality food and better options. I personally wouldn't return, especially considering the price and food quality.
