Visiting the area we stopped in for a quick treat before the next game. Yogurtland was a refuge from the heated afternoon. All the varieties of flavors are lined up against the wall and ready to be sampled or cupped. Had the churro and salted Carmel. Toppings were the classic choices for a daily dose of yum. Service was friendly with smiles as bright as the sun. Families were enjoying some froyo at the tables inside and out. Great to see this little shop buzzing with activity. Located at the shops at Rossmoor. Plenty of parking in this plaza with surrounding shops and eateries.

TL;DR - Pretty clean, relatively smaller selection than other Yogurtlands. Some flavors are available, but not lots of nice seating. (my favorites: plain tart, cookies/cream, mango) - not super duper expensive Toppings: popping boba, fruits, oreo crumbs, mochi (so good!!!!) - staff seem nice, but since it's self serve theres not much interaction

Happy Mother's Day...,, after lunch with my mom lol we came here for some yogurt. It's her for first time to this location and she liked it. It was still early and we missed the crowds, luckily all the flavors were still available

Located in rossmoor shopping plaza next to subway Plenty of parking Store seem popular as wave of people kept coming Inside seating minimal - 3 tables? 65 cents an ounce plus special flavors were available like chocolate covered strawberry Though advertised open until 10pm, half their flavors were not available or the mix was low resulting in softer than usual soft serve, the employee cleaning the soft serve station was very much focused on her cell phone and not wearing gloves, though did eventually clean. The topping station was clean organized and filled The cashier was polite Rewards program available Maybe an off night so may or may not return to this specific location.

    So cute!

My last visit last night was atypical as the yogurt levers were leaking and not staying locked. At 65 cents per ounce, it's not cheap but who can resist the occasional treat with all the great flavors and toppings. They have a lot of sauces, marshmallow fluff(!) and whipped cream. My favorite yogurt flavors are pistachio, strawberry and cookies and cream. Plain tart fans, in the early evening on a Saturday night, it was available! It's clean and they have outdoor tables with umbrellas. I like collecting the different spoons. Was so eager to eat my yogurt last night, I didn't take pics!

Went in for some yogurt with chocolate shell. They ran out and I got a few splatters. Then I tried the fudge next to it. It was also out, as it sputtered onto my hand and shirt. Cashier tried to ignore me so I made sure I voiced my complaint to her. I didn't really want an apology though. Just refill your ingredients and care about the business.

I got an email from Yogurtland Real Rewards last month letting me know I was sooooooooo close to the next tier! Somehow, my points balance for the year was 197, which was 3 points short of the Premium Tier. If you register for their Real Rewards program, you start off with 50 points, and you can earn a $5 reward for every 100 points earned. So right off the bat, you're already halfway towards that $5 reward! You also get a $5 reward on your birthday. And that's just for the first tier, which is called Signature Tier. For the Premium Tier, you get a $6 reward on your birthday as well as a half-birthday reward and quarterly bonus points! You earn two points per dollar spent, so if you do the math, I only needed to make a purchase of ~$1.50 to reach this tier! There is also an Ultimate Tier, but there's absolutely no way I would have been able to make it there lol. The only additional upgrades from Premium to Ultimate is an additional dollar reward for your birthday, and double points every second of the month. Why would I want to spend $200 more just for that? lol Anyways, rewards aside, I just wanted a small bowl of froyo since I had already eaten a small dessert somewhere else. The setup of the Seal Beach location is similar to the Cypress location where there are partitions between the dining area and the froyo dispensers. This bothers me because if there is a line, it'd be hard to see the full list of available flavors, and if what I wanted was behind me, then I'd have to go backwards to get my desired flavor. Even though there were only a few other customers in the shop at the time, I already had a difficult time deciding which flavor to get! I was trying to find something that was light and fruit-flavored. The Pomegranate Lime Sorbet caught my attention not only because it was vegan, but it was also a sorbet, which is typically lighter in weight compared to other traditional flavors like strawberry and cheesecake (or a mixture of both lol). That was my pick, but since Yogurtland doesn't have scales anywhere outside of the register, I had to guesstimate a $1.50 bowl given the price shown on a TV monitor behind the toppings: 63 cents per oz. I wish I could tell a froyo dispenser to output exactly 2.5 oz of a certain flavor, but no it doesn't work that way lol. After getting the froyo, I had to wait a while for the customer in front of me to pay for her cold treat, and then I went up to pay. I didn't even bother to look at the toppings, honestly, so I can't comment further about how fresh and tasty they were or even if the signs were in the right places (see my review of the Yogurtland in Long Beach on Atlantic Ave for that story). I just went up to the scale and hoped that my bowl was no less than $1.50. But first, I had to ask the cashier this question: "I have rewards on my account, but can I *not* use my rewards?" Sounds silly I know, but the reason I ask that is because you don't get points for redeeming a reward. So as an example, if you use a $5 reward to buy a $7 bowl, you would only get 4 points instead of 14. I had enough rewards to cover the cost of my bowl, but then I wouldn't have gotten those points needed to reach the next tier! How much was my bowl? $2.27. Just enough to reach the next tier! As a matter of fact, I actually earned 5 points instead of 4! Good to know for future visits; I think if it were three cents less, I would have gotten 4 points instead. Two cents less? I would think 5, but I'm not sure. After paying, the cashier gave me a Yogurtland spoon, and I enjoyed the froyo at the outdoor patio. There was a sufficient amount of flavor in the sorbet, and it was lightweight, so I got to enjoy more of the sweet treat without spending too much more. I didn't remember tasting any lime though, but I can let that slide since I really didn't want much anyways. It's a good Yogurtland overall, but I probably won't return only because of the location. I frequent the Lakewood location, which is way closer to me, and the two I would say are pretty comparable save for the partitions I mentioned earlier in this review. However, it's good to know if I ever find myself in Seal Beach craving froyo, there's always this Yogurtland, which is located between Subway and Chipotle at The Shops at Rossmoor on the west side of Seal Beach Blvd. If you like froyo, and you frequent this shopping center, I highly recommend you stop by this Yogurtland and see what they have for you! Also, if you've managed to read my entire review up to this point, keep reading because I'll let you in on this. Right as you walk through the front door, on your right is a freezer full of pre-packed swirls. These swirls are $5, and if you have a $5 reward either from birthday or signup, you can use that to get a swirl for free! These pre-packed swirls are about 15 oz, so instead of paying ~$10 for a bowl of that size, just get a pre-packed swirl for half that price! Or 100% off if you're redeeming a $5 reward :)

Once again, even though I am an ice cream person and not a frozen yogurt lover, I found myself hoodwinked into visiting a Yogurtland, this time with a friend. This location seems to have a lot of flavor choices and, unlike other locations I've been to, all of the machines were working. The topping station was fully stocked and kept clean. I got two flavors: Dutch Chocolate and Caramel Apple. I added several sweet toppings rather than fruit (but the fruit all looked fresh and delicious). My complaint with any frozen yogurt is the lack of flavor. The Dutch Chocolate did have a decent flavor, although somewhat weak, but I don't know what the Caramel Apple tasted like. It barely had any flavor and to me didn't taste like caramel or apple. I didn't mind as I'm all about the toppings when I find myself in a Yogurtland. The fellow working here was very welcoming and friendly. There were a couple of nice tables inside which is the place to sit and enjoy your yogurt rather than sitting outside. The outside tables, shared with other eateries, were rusty and unclean; not sure whose responsibility it is to sanitize and maintain them but they're failing miserably.

"icy melted look" across 3-4 different flavors
    Tarek S.

This used to be a great yogurt land, i'd always drive here from Belmont Shore since our YL here is not good and serves "icy melty" yogurt. unfortunately i'm not sure what has happened to the seal beach location now, lately the past few months if its under new management or what, the flavors the past few times i've gone have been "icy, melty" looking, not that nice creamy consistency they used to be, and this wasn't once or twice, its become the norm..you can tell right away looking at the yogurt if its creamy or icy looking..and lately its that icy melty look which lacks flavor and feel..its like having flavored sugar in water unfortunately. I was also there last week and the same issue, and there way another customer complaining that everything is icy looking..so its not just me! Another thing which seems to be a problem lately is their chocolate shell pump, always broken..but thats not a big deal, the big deal is the icy melty flavors they are now pumping out instead of nice creamy flavors. I don't like writing bad reviews, i will be visiting this location again and hopefully they get whatever issue they have fixed...its probably old machines they need to update. I will follow up with another review after a few more visits.

Not only am I a fan, but my dog is too. When I came in I was immediately greeted by - Lelan and Alec. They knew it was our first time so they gave us some time to think about what we wanted and they did not rush us and they were not super annoyed that it took us a few minutes They were really friendly and helpful. Asked if we wanted to sample any of the flavors and etc. they don't have a HUGE variety, but they have the standard flavors and my favorite, birthday cake (which looks amazing. It's so colorful) You can tell they use good quality ingredients We ended up getting a scoop of Vietnamese coffee And a birthday cake scoop and made it into a sundae They have merch (clothes, but also they have the cutest pins and keychains) They have a private parking lot They have ice cream cakes They have ice cream bars Now, for my dogs favorite part. My pup only has a few teeth left and she's gotten stubborn when it comes to drinking water. So I'm always looking for treats she can have. They have pup ice cream (we've tried so many and they always have preservatives / all this added stuff, Or she doesn't like it) This is a peanut butter ice cream with just 4 ingredients and she goes CRAZY for it They have private parking Vegan options Service is extremely helpful and friendly And my dog is their biggest fan Don't forget their ice cream bars, floats, sundaes, milkshakes and more Also, 5 stars for Alec and Lelan If you have a dog, you definitely have to try the doggy ice cream PS before coming look up their hours.
