So many potential customers left their partially filled bowls behind because many flavors ran out. When I placed my bowl on the scale, it appeared that the man (possibly owner or manager) was manually entering the amount in the system. After paying the stated amount, I asked for a receipt but was told that the receipt paper was out. He said he could email it, which I said was fine, but then strangely made another excuse that he couldn't on that particular register. I didn't want to hold the line up so I just left. Other locations always ask if you need a lid but as expected, he never offered. Even if the froyo tasted decent, as another reviewer mentioned, there's no transparency with weight and price. My GO-TO place for frozen yogurt!! I love coming here during the weekends (especially on warm summer days). The flavors are great, but the diverse toppings are what make it better! The fruit is always FRESH at this location. The customer service is AWESOME, and I regularly see these two young men (who I believe might be brothers). They always greet us when we walk in, and are willing to help out if toppings get low. I wish that they had the electronic tipping option available so that I could tip these guys (especially since it seems like all places these days have them) haha. Admittedly, I rarely carry cash and always feel bad when I cannot tip the employees for good service. Lastly, I enjoy the multiple choice math trivia question that they have at the counter. This is the third yogurt land that I've found to be unkept. The machines need a good scrubbing. The catch trays were full of dried yogurt. Speaking of machines, when was it ok to have liquid (as in not frozen) yogurt as a final product. I have yet to find a yogurt land store with a firm product. This location has a lot of flavors! Parking is a little annoying because a lot of spots are reserved for the surrounding businesses but its not too hard to find parking. When we came to this location it was a weekend afternoon and it wasnt too crowded. The location was kept very clean and there were plenty of tables to choose from. The toppings were similar to all their other locations. Nothing special there. I usually get the chocolate chips, crushed almonds, and (depending how good they look) strawberries. We will most likely be back at this location again just because it is a convenient location for us. That's pretty why I favor any Yogurtland location over another. I came here twice, first time was about a month ago and they had sample cups, it was great Because I was able to try yogurt before buying. At the time the yogurt was good, however I went again just a couple days ago now and they said "they are no longer giving out sample cups" which bummed me out and ended up making me upset because I still ended up buying it. The reason why I'm super upset is because once I got home I tried the yogurt and it tasted very expired or like the yogurt was kinda old, maybe they don't have fully fresh yogurt? Walked over to see if this location was open yet on my lunch break, and they are!!! The gal working at the register told us they just opened yesterday. So... that being said... Im willing to overlook the soft yogurt... learning curve, etc.... it was very soft, but still tasted good. What bummed me out, were the fruit flies in the toppings. Already? There was a bit of a sewer / pipe smell when we walked in... so it just gave me the feeling that it wasnt all that clean... and to see the fruit flies on the chocolate chips and around the toppings kind of verified that. Not a good start to me, honestly. I had a little bit of four different flavors. Cheesecake / Birthday Cupcake Batter.... These both tasted the same to me, and I couldnt have told you which was which if I had to. They didnt have a lot of flavor but the flavor they did have was too close to differentiate. Salted Caramel Pecan... This tasted like it was just Salted Caramel, which I love so it was my favorite of the four I tried. Alphonso Mango Tart.... It was tart, as described. It was a nice flavor though, not so tangy it was offensive. This was my second favorite of the four. Sigh why is it that every time I come right when they open at 1, the majority of the yogurt machines show that they are almost all out.. All the flavors should be fully stocked right when you open. Also, they're always out of fruit toppings like strawberries and mangos (which are my fave toppings there). This store is really sad and honestly, the franchise owners should just admit that they have no idea how to run a service based business and either shut it down or sell it to someone who knows how to run it. This happens to be the closest Yogurtland to me (and many other families in the Tustin/Irvine communities) so when my 2.5 year old wanted "ice cream" yesterday evening, I thought, why not visit the one across the street since its still early. On that note, every time prior to this I've decided to take my daughters out for Froyo, this location has always been closed. WHO THE HELL closes an "ice cream shop" at 6, 7 or 8pm???? Yesterday when I went, we pulled up and found a parking spot right outside the door, it was around 7pm. The store signage light was not lit and the inside seemed very dark as we pulled up, I literally thought it was closed. Walked inside and both the TV menu boards were off (no huge deal since we don't really order off a menu, but still that's where they usually have monthly special flavors, the cost per ounce and other things listed). The lighting in the store seemed to be half off, no ambient music, nothing. No staff behind the counter greeting you (although I could hear two of them laughing the in back) Grabbed a cup as my daughter asked for gummy bears on her "ice cream". Went to get her some Vanilla.... drip... drip.... nothing. Looked closely and the red light indicating the machine was out was blinking. Just as that happened a sweet girl appeared behind the counter and greeted us. I asked "are you out of Vanilla?" She replied "Oh I don't know" and came out to check. "Ya we're out" and then proceed to yell to some behind the machines. I asked my daughter "do you want strawberry or chocolate?" To which she of course replied "I want gummy bears" lol. I decided to decide for her and get her strawberry. GUESS WHAT??? Strawberry was out too.... and so was Chocolate and.... so were about 2 other flavors. For a location that only has, if I remember correctly 5 or 6 machines (meaning 10 to 12 flavors max) to have more than 4 empty..... IS PURE BULLSHIT. I had to somehow explain to my daughter that this store was "broken" and that we needed to get back in the car. She was practically in tears, but I managed to keep her happy and focused on the "other store we were going to." I also noticed another guy who walked in behind us leave without buying anything. We made our way to a location about 3 miles away within a few minutes and she enjoyed her Vanilla Froyo with gummy bears as we sat in the trunk of our vehicle. TO THE OWNERS OF THIS FRANCHISE: As a small business owner myself, I understand how much goes into simply opening a location like this. $250-$300k TIs, thousands in rent per month, staff, product, etc. But seriously, you guys don't know how to run a business that's supposed to have so much love and support from the local community full of kids. 2/6/24: I asked about the buy one get one free promotion, which I heard of from TikTok. I asked the manager, Paul (he is pictured below and has no name tag; we asked for his name), if this location was doing the promotion. He stated, "No, we are not participating." I asked again to clarify as I was slightly confused-- "So, you aren't doing the promotion?" He responded with a no. I exited the store, at which point my mother had arrived. I am a high schooler, and because I know Paul has denied service to my friends before, I asked my mother to double check that the promotion was not available. When my mother asked Paul for the promotion, he said, "Yes, we have the promotion." I was dumbfounded and quite upset. We ended up getting our yogurt, and when my mother questioned why he refused us service, he said it was simply because we are highschoolers and we will make him "lose money." I asked him about the promotion to BUY, I never asked for samples. Paul is completely ageist-- I rarely ever go to this location because he is a repeat offender of discrimination towards teenagers-- it is completely unfair that he would assume we would harm his business when high schoolers are his main income. read more

This location at 15090 Kensington Park Dr in Tustin Legacy is unfortunately one of the most non reliable and poorly run yogurtland locations. It seems to always be closed, despite posted hours. Often times there will be signs randomly posted saying they needed to close early. I understand staffing issues currently however this has been an ongoing issue for a while. Also, they never have the variety of flavors that others stores have, leaving half of their machines out of use. It seems like they also don't keep the machines at the right temp since the yogurt isn't quite frozen enough. Training and consistent practices are needed badly here. read more

Ok definitely 5 stars! I spotted this new location while taking my son to soccer practice. The entire center is brand spankin' new and it seems Yogurtland has gotten a make over which I totally love! There were some new flavors when I went in and believe me, I sampled them ALL! I like to check out my options before making my choice! Lol They had some fall flavors that were so good! There was a frozen hot chocolate flavor, pumpkin pie, dark chocolate and blueberry sorbet, apple strudel w/ caramel and more! They always have the tart flavored ones [honestly, not my thangggg, but you know, some people like that taste] and they had some classic flavors like their fresh strawberry, pistachio [total favorite], cheesecake, Oreo cookies, and some others. I'm pretty sure anyone and everyone could find their bomb flavor since there's so many to choose from. I ended up getting the apple strudel and frozen hot chocolate and I threw some fresh strawberries, bananas, and blueberries on it. Unlike my sons, they get a bunch of the real good stuff! I've been to this location twice and I've had pleasurable experiences both times. The staff is professional and courteous and greeted me as soon as I walked in. The place was clean though I was disappointed that several of the machines were temporarily inoperable. The selection of flavors is a bit smaller than others I've been to, but the affordability is worth it. The cost of three regular size cups of frozen yogurt with a good amount of toppings was around $12.50. Overall, I'm glad this location is up and running.
