Convoy's calling... and it's time for some souper delicious hot pot! Yonny Mini Hot Pot lets you build your own bowl with fresh ingredients, noodles, veggies, meats & all the toppings your heart desires Which broth would you pick? Classic Herbal Bone Broth -- slow-simmered, nourishing, restorative & rich without being too heavy Tom Yum -- Thai-inspired with that spicy + sour kick Classic Spicy -- traditional fiery hot pot flavor for the spice lovers Spicy Dry Mix -- all the bold spicy flavor without the soup! My bowl was packed with flavor... but the real question is -- are you team soup or dry mix?

This has been my hyper fixation meal for the last few weeks! Have literally gotten take out and delivered 4 times in the last month. It's mainly driven by the kuan fen (I think that's what the noodles are called) in the signature suan cai. The noodles are made with sweet potato starch, and are this insanely chewy and satisfying texture that I haven't tried or found elsewhere. The sourness from the suan cai is pretty unique and addicting. The portion of even the small/regular is a lot, and with rice I usually cannot finish in one meal. Ordering is a bit confusing, it's hard to tell what comes with something of a combo. I've tried the crispy pork on the side, and it was fun how the batter had sichuan peppercorns in it! I also once ordered the "spicy" soup and was devastated when it didn't have the noodles, so I've stuck to the signature.

Food was delicious and more than enough to share! One order can feed 2 people at least. Fulfilled our craving for savory soup. Service was good and the environment was clean! A good place to try if you're craving this type of hearty dish!

My friend who speaks Chinese says Fish With You translates to "Thinking Of Fish", and that's exactly what happened after trying this place for the first time. I had no idea this was a worldwide sensation, but after my first taste, I can see why. Perfectly smooth, salty, sour, spicy, numbing, hardy, and comforting. Also unlimited rice, just ask for refills (I'd never seen a fleet of rice cookers like that before!) Huge portions, good prices. We shared a $27 dollar bowl between the two of us, and it filled us up to the max. Their card reader wasn't working, so we had to pay in cash, but they gave us free Cokes as a result! Clean food that won't make you feel heavy, clean restaurant that seemed like it was up to a labratory's or hospital's standard. Will definitely come back.

My new spot for hot pot! It's now called yonny mini hot. Came here and we were starving. We did the build your own concept and they have a bar where there's proteins, noodles and veggies to choose to put in your dish. I did 2 beefs and shrimp with ramen noodles hot pot and I picked the spicy broth. Amazing ! My buddy did a seafood hot pot with the peppercorn north and loved it. My friend ordered the golden beef and said the beef was flavorful. If you don't like hot pot you can order straight from the menu they have other or build your own and get the dry stir fry. We also got a dry stir fry and made it a chicken stir fry and it was delicious we all shared it. Lastly those coconut lava balls were amazing for dessert highly recommend. Restaurant was clean and staff was nice. Definitely coming back!

I was a little worried when we arrived at 6 PM on a Saturday night and the place was almost empty. But never fear, Fish With You lives up to the hype! Since we had never been before, my man and I decided to err on the side of caution as far as spice goes. We started out with the crispy squid, which came out almost immediately. Hot and delicious with just a little bit of ice spicy salt on the side. For the main course I had the lemon Basa soup and my man had the crispy chicken tomato soup. Both were advertised as not being spicy and both were absolutely fantastic. I could seriously eat that lemon soup every day! For my add-ins, I went for Inoki mushrooms and cabbage, and got a side of noodles. They also put a generous amount of tofu in the soup. It was light, tangy, refreshing, and completely satisfying. I could only eat about half of it so I took the other half home for lunch for the next day. My man's crispy chicken soup was awesome too. It had a deliciously decadent tomato soup base, a ton of fried chicken strips, and also came with a generous amount of tofu. He got rice with his, but he was jealous of my noodles. The ambience inside is kind of stark but it's clean and neat. Within 20 minutes of us getting there the whole restaurant was full so we hit it at the sweet spot on a Saturday night! I will 100% be back to this restaurant. Looking forward to trying their number one best seller next time which is advertised as being mildly spicy.

NGL, I was a bit hesitant to join my fiancée at Fish With You. It's not that I'm not adventurous, I was just completely unfamiliar with a menu centered on fish and cabbage soup. I was pleasantly surprised and ended up LOVING it! I ordered the Crispy Chicken with Tomato flavor soup in a regular size, and I purposely chose the no-to-mild spice level, which was delicious. My fiancée had the Tangy Lemon Basa Fish with a side of noodles. The flavor was rich and perfectly balanced - not at all overpowering. You order via a QR code at the table, but the server was still very friendly and quick with the delivery. I had heard the large portion was massive, so I stuck with the regular, and even then I could barely finish it. I only managed a few bites of my side of rice because it was so much food. If you're hesitating, just go - you'll thank me later!

Both Golden Soup Beef and Green Szechuan Pepper Suancai Fish were yummy! The bowl seemed as though it could feed an army, despite having a shallow bottom. I completely enjoyed the peppercorn kick (lol). Looking forward to bringing my sons!

interesting place with some unique flavors! i thought the spice and broth was going to be stronger, or more pungent, but it was pretty light. the fish is extremely tender and pairs well with the soup and greens. FYA rice isn't unlimited

The portions are huge. Soups are packed with flavor. The rice somehow tastes better than normal rice. Staff are always super helpful if you're feeling overwhelmed by options. Food comes out fast. If you're craving soup and rice, you have to try Fish with You. My go to soup with the sauerkraut fish soup with woodear mushroom and vermicelli noodles. It's a great lunch spot.

I was a little skeptical because I didn't really understand what sauerkraut fish dishes were. To my surprise, I ended up enjoying the food here so much more than I thought and it's definitely a great comfort food when it gets cold. I ordered the Royal Tomato with Basa Fish. There's an option to upgrade to Snakehead fish but since I didn't know what the difference was, I chose the cheaper option. I also chose enoki mushrooms and napa cabbage for my two toppings. The fish was super tender and the soup was this slightly thick tomato base. I'm not really sure how to describe the flavor but it bordered between slightly sweet and savory with a hint of tanginess. We also ordered some Crispy Pork and Brown Sugar Rice Cakes. With the sides and the small portion of the main entree, this was more than enough food and I ended up taking leftovers home. Highly recommend if you've never been!

We did the BOGO special from July 18-31. We came right when it opened on the weekend and got our food fast. Very yummy and don't forget the sauce bar.

Ever since they opened, I've been really excited to try Fish With You. Szechuan suan cai yu soup is such a comforting meal, especially in colder weather, and I love that a restaurant specializing in this dish has opened in Convoy. I stopped by recently and was really impressed with the food. There was no wait on a Saturday afternoon and we were quickly seated. We had to scan a QR code for the menu and to place our food orders so service interaction is minimal. I love QR menus but it did make it slightly harder for the elderly people in our group to navigate and read the menu. We ordered crispy pork as an appetizer and several variations of their fish soups, all in small size, as our individual entrees. Fried pork was good but not really memorable. The real star of the show were the fish soups. We were shocked with how large the portions were. A small portion is definitely enough for one person, or even two to share, and a large portion should definitely be shared between 2-4 people. The fish was very tender and the broth was really flavorful and had the perfect balance of spicy and sour. Parking is a bit hard to find with the busy plazas but we parked in a nearby plaza and walked over. As I mentioned, service is minimal but they are friendly enough. I don't live nearby or else I would definitely come by more often. We're definitely looking forward to our next visit when we are in the Convoy area.

In our search for an alternative nearby, we happened upon Ironside which was opening in just another 10 minutes and let me tell you, it was worth the wait. The atmosphere is amazing, we loved the decor, and we were lucky to show up early because the entire restaurant filled up within the hour. We started with a dozen of the raw oysters, they were fresh, juicy, and incredibly flavorful. We especially loved the minionette sauce and the included horseradish. Next up was the bread, the butter it comes with is salted and tastes amazing paired up with the exquisitely light and fluffy bread. By this time, our drinks came up and the Mai Tai was the winner of the day. The aperol spritz and Ghostwriter were also good, but the Mai Tai was possibly the best that I've ever had. Next up, we had the Oysters Rockefeller, which had a combination of two varieties, one with caramelized onions and the other with a crispy chili drizzle. Both were delicious, but I preferred the creamy freshness of the raw oysters. Then the main characters showed up, the lobster rolls, clam chowder, and the amazing local catch of sea bass. The winner for this round was the 'brought in that morning' sea bass, but the lobster rolls took a very close second place. Everything was cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful. The lobster rolls were a little unorthodox, being more of a lobster open face sandwich, but everything was so good, we are looking forward to coming back again. If you're in the area and are a fan of excellent sea food, Ironside deserves to have a place near the top of your short list. The service was great, the atmosphere is worthy of sharing on social media, and the food approaches that of Michelin recognized establishments. We'll be back again to try the amazing looking octopus and will recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to San Diego!

We were seated right away at the counter bar. Another good thing is that it was and easy walk from our hotel The Hampton. First of the seafood was all fresh. Blue Crab Tostada with added Uni $9- This was the only dish that was a little disappointing. Flavor wise it was fantastic but there was hardly any blue crab meat mostly onions, avocado, peppers, and other greens. When I ask for added uni I expecting at less a minimum of 2 pcs of uni not just one for $9. Maguro Negra Tostada- This was excellent. Delicious fresh chopped up blue fin. Well seasoned. Pulpo Carpaccio- First time have octopus with shaved parmesan combo. It definitely works well together. Great size portion as well. Aquachile Campechano- This was recommend by our server and boy it was excellent. Dish had full of fresh seafood, octopus, scallops, raw shrimp and yellowtail in this flavorful tart gochujang and yuzu sauce. This was our favorite dish. Overall, we enjoyed Crudo Cevicheria. If you're looking for some fresh seafood spot in little Italy give this place a try and they do have happy hour as well
