Hidden gem! Was in the north north part of Vegas for an Ortho appointment recently and decided to stop by. They serve something I've always wanted to try but don't have access to much in this country; omurice! It is the rose style where the egg is draped in the shape of a rose. And the rice is a super tasty and savory fried rice. You have a few protein options but I went with the shrimp. While I waited for my food they offered me a free iced coffee! Something they apparently do on weekdays from noon to 5. Super sweet and a nice surprise. And then my food came. Now to preface, this dish is not something I had high hopes for. We're in the United States and I wasn't exactly expecting Japanese or even LA levels of Asian cuisine. But boy was I surprised! It was super delicious and I'm glad I tried their Omurice. It was soft scrambled eggs covered in seasoning with okonomiyaki sauce on the corners of the bowl. Amazing. Super savory salty fried rice that's balanced by the light egg flavor which is balanced by the sweet okonomiyaki sauce. If this spot was located more towards my part of town I'd be visiting all the time! Only reason Im not giving a 5 star rating is that I know there is better Omurice in this world, and if you want the good stuff you'll have to either head to LA or hop on a plane to Japan. So this will suffice! So if you're in this part of town stop by this small shop and grab some Japanese grub! read more

The food was amazing. We came here for my daughters 12th birthday, and everything was great! We had the pork ramen and the sausage omurice, they were amazing!!! The waitress Kenia was extremely attentive and very sweet to my daughter. Service and food were both just absolutely out of this world, don't get service or food like this very often these days and the prices were reasonable too!!! 100% recommend this place!!! Found this place through yelp and wanted to give it a try since I was on the north side of town. This place is so hidden you wouldn't even know it was there unless you went all they way to the corner. The resturant is small but has cute Japanese decorations. I ordered the takoyaki, gyoza, karage curry, Japanese omelete, and black sesame blanc cake. The takoyaki came in 4 pieces and were piping hot as they should be, it was soft and gooey with a crunchy outside. The perfect takoyaki texture. The gyoza felt a little underwhelming compared to the takoyaki but it was pork and veggie filled. They had a nice crunch to it and was nice but not as meaty as I would want it to be. The karage curry was delicious with so much curry sauces and big chunks of karage. Sadly they do not offer vegetable add on or spicy adjustments but at their prices for curry it was still worth it. The Japanese omelete rices was so pretty that I almost didn't want to eat it. Their fried rices was more on the peppery side which I don't mine but for those who don't like too much pepper be warned. Their special sauce was sweet and tangy which complimented the fried rice. They do provide ketchup and spicy flakes to make the omelete more authentic. Overall it was pretty good, not the best omelete rice I had but definitely worth trying! For dessert I got the black sesame banc cake which was soft airy and sponey. The black sesame wasn't over powering and the whipped cream center was airy and soft. The cake was a bit dry for me but it was still really flavorful. Legit Japanese food is now available in Centennial! They have some dishes you can't find even at Japanese restaurants on Spring Mountain. We really enjoyed the omurice (and no this is not the same as just an omelette and fried rice). They have a tomato based sauce with this version and it is delicious! It's off menu but you can request for a chicken, pork sausage, shrimp combo rather than just picking one protein. The shrimp were surprisingly big. We've tried a white sauce version in another state and are hoping they can add that to the menu eventually ;). The pork katsu curry is probably second best we've had in Vegas. Tsukumen noodles were great texture, char siu, and seasoned egg were great in flavor. The pork/seafood dipping broth was decent but it's hard since the last one we had was in Tokyo. It seemed less viscous that the version we had in Japan and maybe less potent in flavor. The black sesame Mont Blanc cake was good but I was hoping for an even nuttier flavor. The purple yam Mont Blanc cake really came through with the yam flavor and was preferred. Service was great and food came out relatively quickly. Serious hidden gem in Centennial!! read more

I stumbled upon this place on Yelp to find that it's brand new! My boyfriend and I were hoping to get more Japanese locations on north side, since there's barely any. The owners of the place were super sweet and very hospitable! We started off with takoyaki and it is super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and has a lot of flavor. They were delicious and different then the ones I usually have. I also got the Japanese beef bowl with egg and my boyfriend got the omurice with demi sauce and they were delicious. I don't think I've had better beef bowls in a long time. The dishes were also a pretty large size for what you pay for, so that's a plus! We also wanted to try their matcha and sesame Mont Blanc and they weren't super sweet and had a lot of rich flavors of the sesame and matcha. Loved my dinner here last night with my daughter. The hostess/ server was so friendly and kind, she constantly checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We ordered the takoyaki to start and it was hot, fresh, and delicious! It's a fave of my daughters and she commented that it was the best she's had in Vegas. She ordered the crab croquettes in curry and I ordered the omelette rice with kurobata sausage. Both entrees were delicious! That sauce that comes with the omelette is so savory and tasty. The kurobata had a nice smoky taste and were plentiful throughout the rice. I sampled the croquettes and they were equally delicious. The curry sauce was a little spicy which is exactly how I like it. We both ordered Mont Blanc for dessert, the purple sweet potato and the Black Sesame were yummy! New Japanese kitchen - a jewel of a find. It's a small place located at a 'corner' at Farm Rd. by Albertsons area. It's one door away from a dog grooming place. It's located in that area where it's not that busy so you might miss it. The place is small, very quaint, very clean. The 2 hostess were very pleasant & welcoming. Food is really tasty, delicious! My daughter had their shoyu ramen and it is really good! Not too salty; comes not only with the usual bamboo shoots, the meat but also egg, roasted seaweed (which on other ramen house is an extra order). Me & my son ordered their house fried rice and combination fried rice. My rice came with shrimps that are of good size. My son chose chicken for his rice. Hefty portions on the fried rice ingredients. The only downside on the fried rice is oil in the bottom. Takoyaki is yum & so is their chicken karage!! Price is just right. Curious though- no tempura in the menu. It's a a Japanese staple & surprisingly, they don't have it. Please include it on your menu. This time we ate inside the restaurant. It's cute! It's small inside. Comfy seats/ table areas. There was one staff there and she was super attentive. We came near closing time so there were three tables filled. Everything was delicious and came out in appropriate time. It tasted fresh. My daughters ate everything which says a lot right there! Don't sleep on this place!!! I love their Japanese omelette, it's beautiful and so tasty. This last time I had the shrimp. My daughter had their miso ramen. Their fried oysters a fav of mine. I finally found the best hidden gem in the nw side of town. This is the closest you can get to authentic Japanese cuisine without booking a flight. The menu was stacked with all time favorite dishes. This place is legit. It's always a good sign for me when I walk into a Japanese restaurant and it's all Japanese people working. My dad's Japanese, and growing up we wouldn't eat at a Japanese restaurant if this wasn't the case lol. My wife and I stopped in for dinner this evening and were greeted by with irasshaimase! around the house. Very friendly and welcoming, top notch service throughout the night. We ordered tonkotsu ramen, miso ramen, katsu curry, and gyoza. The gyoza was delicious, fresh cooked with the thin crispy layer of dumpling connecting them all. You can see other peoples pictures of them but I knew they were gonna hit different as soon as I saw it. Tonkotsu broth had great depth of flavor and I added in the black garlic oil which I'd highly recommend. The pork itself was on the leaner side and had nice flavor, but I would have preferred a fattier piece of pork with the fat crisped up. Just personal preference though. My wife's miso ramen broth was delicious. I usually go for tonkotsu but when i go back I'll get the miso ramen for sure. 10/10. The katsu curry was really good. The curry itself could have been a little more flavorful, but the tonkatsu was something else. Juicy and cooked to perfection with a super light and flaky breading. I wish my tonkatsu came out as good as theirs just once in my life. I wish I could have tried more but i ate about three meals worth. They hooked it up with a free drink on our way out and the owner walked us out, thanked us profusely, and bowed as we left. Service was rather slow. Price is slightly above average for what you're getting but portions are huge. All the entrees erred on the side of being a tad too salty but with good flavors. Overall the dishes appear fairly authentic. It's hard to find omurice! I was surprised to see them offer it. If craving some Japanese flavors and you can't go to Japan. Came by the other day to try out this new Japanese spot and it was absolutely delicious! They seem to specialize in Japanese comfort dishes like curry rice, fried rice, ramen, donburi and omu rice. We ordered the smoked salmon salad, karaage, omu rice with the house demi glace sauce, and tsukemen (dipping ramen). Everything from the presentation to the taste was fantastic. It really shows how much the staff and the owner care about the quality of the experience they're trying to create. The dishes were definitely on par with anything I've had in Japan, especially the omu rice and tsukemen. Both of those dishes are very seldom seen in Vegas and Yoshiya knocks them out of the park!
