Wing price went up ....12 wings for 20 somethin $$idk y ....they are alittle bigger but not good like before ....seems like cheaper meat to me and the price was ridiculous . Popped into the bar with some business associates staying at a hotel nearby. We were a group diverse in race and sexual orientation, appearance and age. Didn't know what to expect and had such a good time shooting pool, playing music on the juke box and laughing and chatting with the bartender and locals we ended up staying longer than thought we would. Your Place came through for a party of 15 at about 11pm on a Saturday night. We were hungry and yearning for a place where we could both have a few drinks and also meet a wide variety of dining needs--vegetarian, meat-lover, heavy food, light food, etc. There's a bar in the front and a restaurant in the back. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Yet the server, who most likely did not expect a boisterous crowd at that time of night, was on the ball and succeeded by trying hard. The portions, predictably, are huge by Midwestern standards. The bar has good drink specials, but for some reason they don't have Maker's Mark, which made me sad. Your Place is a great place to go to avoid the Applebees and other chains that plague this tourist strip. read more

Don't waste your time even bothering to come here! The Inn we stayed at offered us a free drink and we decided to take advantage and Check them out. The drinks tasted like water and then the waitress had the nerve to tell me the coupon wasn't working and proceeded to try to charge me for both barely touched drinks. Your Place is in a lot by itself on US-30 westbound just before the Lancaster bypass. It should be noted that I went to this restaurant in the context of a group event. It took a long time to place our orders and get the food because the restaurant didn't have enough people even though the event organizer warned them weeks in advance about the size of our group. That issue aside, I thought the crab cake sandwich I ordered was pretty good. If I ever go again by myself, I'll update this review to let you know if service is any faster when they are not up to their eyeballs in orders. read more

Came back again, hoping for a drink and a decent meal. Bad mistake. Things started well. Female bartender was nice and attentive, but we weren't ready to order. Then, a change in shift. Male bartender came on, and we couldn't even get a drink, worse off ordering. There was a couple across the bar that had just walked in, and waited 15 minutes, and had no drink. They motioned to the bartender, and his response was, "I'll get to you when I get to you." Another couple that had been there before we got there, got up and left, and the male commented to the bartender that the other couple had been waiting 15 minutes. The bartender didn't care at all, and just went about standing there. At that point, I turned to my girlfriend and told her we were leaving also, and going somewhere else to eat. Wow! For a place known for their Stromboli's... the $14.50 Stromboli is a joke. First off, I was told that it can't be special ordered because they are all prepared and just reheated. Secondly, if you look at the picture and think you are getting a meal for more then one person (because of the picture or PRICE) you better order 2! Hate to say it but tried this place again and once again the bartenders are the worst! They are more worried about hanging with their little click on the corner then waiting on customers. I wish I knew the name of the one .. can't believe she still works there either.. comes in late for her shift last week .. guy next to me walks in tells her he is there for a pick up .. she makes no eye contact as she asks his name then walks away.. I hear the guy say.. ok guess I don't want a drink while I wait! I looked at him and said just a typical night here... I'm still wondering why Brooke works at the dump... Disgusting. If you like this place you have no idea what good food is. The onion soup was cold with no flavor. The salad was watery and the lettuce was bad. The staff inattentive and very novice. The chicken wings were nothing special. I did see many large parties with children. Probably is an economical choice, as it is cheap and does have a all you can eat pizza and salad bar. I've been in Lancaster since July. Gone to about 15 bars in the area, and this one is by far the worst. We ordered beer, which came out room temperature. Then we got the buffalo chicken quesadilla, which had about 30 peppers and a sliver of chicken. I got the cheesesteak, and in all honesty I believe they used the beef flavor of fancy feast and melted velveeta cheese on top. Please, don't be stupid enough to go here, you're better off giving ur money to a homeless person, they deserve it more. read more

This used to be my go to spot for bolis but it is not what it used to be. For a place claiming to have the best bolis around it has been a disappointment. The last Your Place in the Lancaster County is still home of the most classic Stromboli around. With that said, this bar is long overdue for some re-organization. Management & staff are friendly to regulars, that much is clear, but if you're not a regular, don't expect much. Food is average at best, save for the Boli. Bar specials are always good, that's a big plus in my book. Personally, I'd like to see some more craft beer selections. This place has potential to be cool, but new ownership/management is needed to make that happen. read more

Your Place makes the best stromboli ever! I've been to the Hershey and Carlisle Pike locations as well, but I think the Lancaster one is the best. It is also the only YP I know of that has outdoor seating. Today my mom and I each ordered side salads and split a large boli. I requested that it be lightly baked since sometimes it gets too dark, and it turned out absolutely perfect. Service was excellent as well. The only star in this place is Aspen. He honestly cares about this place. We were visiting Lancaster this past weekend. We went for drinks on Saturday night. We sat at the bar. The bar tenders were not very friendly. They were upset with a few customers that were already at the bar being loud, doing shots and cursing like crazy. We finally moved out of the bar area. Thankfully we did because about 15-20 minutes after we had moved there was a fight in the bar area. Aspen had to grab the guys arms and throw him out. I asked the General Manager if we should call the police and she said "no". We did tell the GM how impressed with Aspen. I honestly don't know why he isn't running he place? Ill start by saying this is my first ever yelp review, and after my experience at YP, I wish they had a zero star option. We placed a to-go order prior to arriving, and we were told "it will be 30 minutes but we should probably wait 45" in a sarcastic tone... We arrived around the 35 minute mark and planned to get a drink while we waited. We told the bartender we placed a to go order and that we'd have a drink while we waited. We both ordered drinks and got ID'd, unfortunately I didn't have mine, and the bartender said "hahaha well that's not my problem!" And proceeded to laugh about it. (I'm 29 years old and certainly don't like under 21) I understand that's the rules and it wasn't a big deal, we were there for 1 drink and to pick up food... my Sister in law order a vodka and cranberry. We got that drink and waited another 5 minutes or so, finally we asked, can you please check our food order (which was why we were there) and she wandered away. She didn't ask the name on the order... so how was she going to know which was ours.... Another few minutes passed and she finally came back and asked our name. When the food was brought out, we got charged for the food and a top shelf drink, which was not what we were served, nor what we ordered. We paid and left. When we got home, which was 3 minutes away... all of our food was cold, the spicy hot buffalo wings we ordered were covered in pizza sauce, and one looked like it was from another planet, please see the picture. the garlic wings had so much pepper, you could barely taste the garlic, the plain cheese pizza... I don't even know how to describe how bad it was... And the house stromboli was tiny and tasted like a half cooked soft pretzel with no salt and some nasty mustard filling... I've never had a good experience at YP, and this was the straw that broke the camels back. I will never go back and I do not recommend it to any others in the area. read more

The food was great, the service was not. It was clearly just our server, however. I cannot fault the rest of the waitstaff. They actually had to remind our server on several occasions that we existed. Try the stromboli. It is different than your average boli and it is very good! Failure at every level Went to YP this past Friday night - in town for a concert and we're staying at the adjacent sister hotel. Saw the menu when we checked in, looked good and appeared that it would be a quick and easy bite before we went out. Should have read the reviews. Let me list the list of failures from the time we made the mistake of walking through the door. Upon coming in we waited over 5 minutes to be seated - available tables, staff walking around, just being ignored. Seated, 10 minute wait to get menus, 10 minute wait to have order taken. Now there is a 30 minute wait to have our food served & one of the entrees ordered by our party of 4 is missing - Buffalo Chicken quesadilla. Waitress apologies, says it will be right out. 15 minutes later the entree arrives. Every item that we were served was of poor quality with items listed on the menu missing from the plate. Didn't even mention, just wanted to get out by that point in time. Finally got check after going to look for a staff member and request it, contained 2 overcharge errors. Late to our event after this fiasco. It appears to me from the reviews that the locals give this place strong reviews but that anyone who is not a local calls this place out as the 3rd rate establishment that it is. They have done so much specifically for me while being hospitalized to help me out I can't ever repay them. Two stars because of the semi decent food only. I've been here at least a dozen times only because of the proximity to the hotel next door. With that said let me start by saying that I've only ate ate the bar. Keep in mind that the second star should only be a single. The first star is because this site makes you leave at least one. Star for food only because they have it! No stars, if I could, for the service that works behind that bar at any given time. All help is young and only working, obviously, is because they haven't figured out how to work the liberal system for full time support. THESE KIDS DONT WANT TO BE THERE, and it's very apparent! OMG! I'll finish this after I remind her I need silverware, ketchup, salt and pepper, to eat my fish, fries and Cole slaw! Not kidding! This is being typed after sitting for 20 min.
