This restaurant has delicious meats. It's well seasoned and not too dry. The ambiance is enjoyable. The pace of each dish was served quicker than expected. The portions were decent sized. It made my family of 5 full with some leftovers. Overall, I recommend this restaurant if you're craving some Chinese food!

Decent Cantonese style BBQ place in what I call the Michael Buble strip mall, next to the supermarket. They filmed a music video here. They have a party in the parking lot. Parking is available in said parking lot, though it can get full. The inside looks a bit dated (2000s), but it's no big deal. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had the 2 meat (roast pork and BBQ pork) set meal on rice. Nice comfort food. Slightly pricier than the competition (Roast Goose King, Cantonese BBQ etc.), but the quality is decent. The combo came with a bowl of lotus root soup. Old school goodness. Wouldn't mind coming back again, though the other places mentioned have a similar product for a few bucks less.

One tiny takeout container of crab meat fish maw soup is $20. Cash grabber. Super salty. Never again

Food is terrible quality and quantity. One takeout container of crab meat fish maw soup is $20. Are you kidding me? Other restaurants around the same price has two containers. Outrageously cash grabber. When we brought it up with the waiter, the waiter said what else do you want, if you want more it's double the price. What kind of service is this!? The soup was horribly salty. Never again. Do not order.

See the 2 very different colour skins! Bait & Switch !! SCAMMERS!

Bbq duck was not fresh, overly salty and just not good. Probably the worst bbq duck I have had and I'm Chinese. I hate when establishments sell day old and older products as fresh. The worst of it all is the BAIT and SWITCH !!!! I was trying to keep watch to make sure he didn't but he did because I could not see everything. This is what they do: They will take the fresh duck (this one was not fresh) Cut it behind a wall you can't see through, then they take really really old parts that are left over from days ago and sub them in. Look at my picture with the 2 completely different colour skins. Horrible business practice!!! Ate a few bites and threw the rest in compost, literally. I'm use to Hong Kong Bbq Master, this place should shut its door and out their heads down in shame in comparison. This place is a complete waste of money!!!

Passed by this resto many times and decided to get take out after reading all the reviews. I bought BBQ pork for around $7($7.99 per lb) and meat was tender and delicious. It had sweet and salty flavour which I like. There was no dipping sauce included which I didn't like. I'm guessing that's the way it is? There was crispy pork belly BBQ which looked even better. Too late to change my mind though. I'm going back there one day. Cash only.

2 BBQ cuts on rice, with BBQ pork (char siu) and soy sauce chicken ($10.95).

Yu Ki BBQ Kitchen is a small restaurant with a take out section on the side. We came here around 12:45 PM and there were only a few 2-seaters left. We had no problem getting a table because there were only two of us. It is your typical Chinese restaurant so we didn't expect much service. I ordered the 2 BBQ cuts on rice, with BBQ pork (char siu) and soy sauce chicken ($10.95). The combo came with either soup (no msg, as stated on the menu) or a hot drink. My rice came very fast and it looked good. It came with a side of chinese cabbages. I actually had a high expectation of this place because they are known for their BBQ items. The BBQ pork looked fresh but I thought it was too lean. As a result, the texture was a little dry. I was disappointed in the soy sauce chicken. The chicken itself was flavourless with a faint taste of soy sauce. I don't know if it was because the knife they used to cut the chicken was dull but I had a lot of tiny shattered bones. I didn't notice they were mixed into the rice until I felt something hard in my mouth. Thus, it was very inconvenient having to spit out these out. Typical Chinese restaurant service, only there to take your order, put the food on your table, take them away when you are done, and then give you the bill. I was a little appalled at how dirty the ground was underneath our table. There were pieces of meat and rice lying everywhere. It was definitely not a good feeling when you find yourself stepping on them. When a waitress was cleaning the table beside us, a chopstick fell on my foot, and I was just disgusted. I think she was trying to be speedy but sometimes that is not a good thing!

Roast Pork with Siu Choy on Rice (8.95)

I've heard rave reviews about the quality of their BBQ meats before so I had high hopes for this place. I ordered the Roast Pork with Siu Choy (kind of like cabbage) on rice (8.95). Although the skin was crispy, I found that most of the pork pieces were SUPER fatty and there was very little of any actual meat. The sauce itself was quite syrupy and mainly tasted of salt. Overall, despite it being filling, it was a bit skimpy on the toppings. Funny thing to note, they used to be called Yu Kee, but I think they've changed their name to Yu Ki for tax purposes lol.

When you ask for "no white and green onions" and you get white and green onions.... :( *Soy sauce chow mein*

A decent place for Chinese food which is known for their bbq pork and duck. One of my go-to dishes is the soy sauce chow mein (no white or green onions). I guess there was some sort of miscommunication between the waitress and chef because they messed up my order. I didn't discover this until I got home. Ugh!!! There is nothing worst then finding stuff you hate in your food. And I hate onions, like every type of onion. For the most part, service is usually fast and staff are friendly. Still not happy about the onions...

We had take out this weekend and the food quality and portion are very decent. BBQ pork and Peking Duck are the highlights.

No wait to be seated on a weekday at 11AM. Decently close to the trolley station as well so it's walkable if you're rolling on public transit. Here's the thing, you can have a 3 star or 5 star experience depending on your order. The roast goose was pretty mid, too chewy and a bit gamey. The roast pork skin was so crunchy that it was almost hard to eat and the meat itself was also slightly tough. However, the char siu and soy sauce chicken here are life changingly good. Char siu is so fatty that it pretty much melts in your mouth and the outside is the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The soy sauce chicken is just incredible. The scallion oil is the perfect bright complement to the uber tender, almost slippery chicken. Genuinely didn't think soy sauce chicken could be the best item at a Chinese bbq place, but HK BBQ showed me how it's done.
