This place opened a month ago and its incredible. First off, its HUGE. There are multiple dining rooms. The first one you walk into is an open concept, lots of tables enormous bar. The other rooms are smaller compared to the first one, but still pretty large. Service is top-notch from the moment we arrived. We didn't have a reservation and were seated within 5 minutes at around 6 on a Saturday night. Hostess was friendly. The guy who took us to our seat was also friendly and was telling us all about the new place. Server was prompt and friendly. We had a comedy show we had to leave for in 45 minutes. The server and the kitchen were very accomodating. We ordered and the food came out in 6 or 7 minutes. Ambience was great; not too loud even with a good amount of ppl(probly b/c of the high ceilings). Food was phenomenal. I had the ciopinno; which is kind of like a seafood gumbo. Scallops were cooked perfect. Excellent flavor. My wife had the potato-crusted snapper and loved it. I'd get either again in a heartbeat. We expected bar food; this was restaurant-quality food. Think Cooper Hawk or something similar. Server got us our check quickly and we were on our way. Wish we had more time; they had a game of bags going outside! Big souvenir shop too. Yuengling just opened their spacious restaurant inside and out. The tours haven't restarted yet and they haven't started their beer flights for tasting yet. However, the food and the chance to have a full glass of their many beers is worth a visit. I grew up near Their original brewery In Pottsville PA and I was able to drink two very hard beers to get in Tampa, Lord Chesterfield Ale and the original traditional lager that I grew up on. We started with the Nosh plate with some Pennsylvania local food. A big Yuengling soft pretzel, pimento cheese, Lebanon Bologna, and other munchies. Lina was a terrific server and suggested the grilled turkey sandwich which was a good choice , and my wife has the interesting vegetable Caesar salad with grilled snapper. They had a visiting ice cream truck in their outdoor courtyard so we finished with ice cream on a hot day. Stroll thru the big gift shop where I got a 24 pack of the traditional lager! read more

Came opening weekend so we knew to set our expectations accordingly. Ordered a beer- was told it was sold out. Conch fritters were 10/10. Came out hot, crispy, and delicious. The sauce that accompanied them was incredible. Ordered skirt steak medium rare and was told "we do pink, brown, or well done"...I have never heard of such. I told the server I wanted the steak red but it definitely came out medium well/well done. This seems insane when spending $24 on a steak. Also ordered scallops, caesar salad, and lobster bisque. Scallops were undercooked and chewy, caesar salad had grilled chicken on it that had been cooked hours before, and lobster bisque was cold. As others have shared- 18% gratuity added with no acknowledgment of such when checking out. Server uses handheld register so you are put on the spot to add tip with employee standing there. The building is amazing and it's awesome what they have accomplished from their small taproom beginnings. This review is tough to write because I have wondered since if this experience is typical or a one-off. We went on a Friday night with a reservation and waited past our reserved time although we watched many others walk in. We were seated and waited 15-20 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. She then brought us water and took drink and app orders. The drinks and appetizers came very quickly. She then took our entree orders and the wait began. We enjoyed the pretzel and pierogis which were truly delicious. If the experience ended there we would have left happy. Over an hour went by before we saw our server again. She refilled our very empty beers and as my son cried from being overtired at this point, told us we were still down the list in the kitchen. We considered canceling our meals and leaving at that point as we had been there for an hour and a half already but right around our 2 hour visit mark the food came out. Once again, the food was good, but the service and amount of time it took really left a bad taste in our mouths. I would consider going back maybe if we were seated at the bar, or with friends outside, but not with my kids in the main restaurant area. read more

Really cool spot to come and hang with a crowd or a date night. Beer and food were great 1 star removed for two things: -1. waitresses claiming all the tables were reserved when we arrived but when in fact we rounded the corner there was barely a soul in there. We didn't mind choosing a seat at the bar but even after being at the bar for two hours, only two tables ended up being filled. - 2. they stamp your hands upon walking in and checking ID's. I really don't prefer this option of checkin somewhere when I come for a nice date out with my husband dressed nicely. Just made the experience feel cheap. Other than the above there are all compliments here from the decor and seating areas being super nice, bartenders pleasant, food and drinks arrived quickly. Food was so good! We ordered the wings and the pretzel platter. Prices are on point and so affordable which I feel like in this area is unheard of and we were so incredibly grateful for that . I came because I saw the Pierogis on the menu but they were covered in white sauce? Looked like a white cheese on the top, drizzled not sure? Not good. No cheese ingredients listed for that item on the menu? My fish was fried. This was not clear on the menu either. Christian ordered the fish tostada and it had cheese, but this was not listed on the menu either. Caesar side salad was really wet, even though I ordered the dressing on the salad. We visited Yuenglings new facility and it was GORGEOUS! Theres a huge restaurant/brewpub with a large indoor seating area as well as a large outdoor area. There is also a cute ice cream truck in the courtyard area. This is a great place to spend an afternoon hanging out, drinking and playing yard games. We sat at the bar and the bartender was overwhelmed (we found out that his help had called in sick) but he did a great job of handling the huge bar by himself. We ordered the flight of all the beers ($15) and the lobster fries ($12). I feel like it's safe to say that most beer drinking folk have had Yuengling before so that wasn't anything new. It was fun to try some of their other lesser known brews though. I enjoyed the Chesterfield and the Golden Pilsner the most out of the beers I hadn't tried. The lobster fries were a great value, you can't find anything with lobster in it for $12 these days! The fries were fat steak fries with bisque poured over them and we thoroughly enjoyed them! I wish we lived closer to Tampa because this is an awesome spot to hang out and the prices are unbelievable! I didn't mention this before but their pints are $4.50! You can't hardly get a domestic beer for under $5 these days! All in all, amazing atmosphere, great prices and yummy food!! read more

First let me emphasize that we have visited Yuengling Draft Haus a few times prior to this visit and it was always pretty good. The atmosphere is always very nice, clean and promotes a good ambiance. This visit we made reservations as we were bringing guests along. Atmosphere was good and restaurant was clean. Was seated quickly. Server provided menus and immediately began asking what we wanted to drink. Tried to let the server know that we had guests and wanted to review the beer and drink options...she continued to prompt for drink order. Once we gave her our drink orders, she began asking for our entree order...whoa...how about appetizers? Certainly seemed like she was trying to rush us. We were not in any hurry. Ordered entrees. (1) Short ribs-were good, nice portion. (2) Gulf Seafood Cioppino - not a fan, recommend they put pictures of their creations on their menu, looked like a big bowl of porridge...good luck fishing the shrimp and such out of this mess. (3) Bull-rrito Down Home - NEVER AGAIN. This gives a burrito a bad name. Had it with smoke chicken. Way to little chicken, too much potatoes and green beans with doughy tortilla. When it came out it looked like a monster burrito, that is all it had going for it. Come on chef, think you are either trying to hard or not really giving a damn! (4). Chili Mac - MEH! When we go back, we will stick with potato crusted snapper...sure wish we would have stuck with that entree as we like the atmosphere of the Draft Haus. Short ribs were good too. Server did go MIA on us, finally came back so we could order more beer. Still don't like being able to review bill...they hold the bill on the mobile point of sale device...there is so much stuff on it you really can't review it...soooo don't expect any more gratuity other than the mandatory 18% included gratuity. I do like to give extra gratuity for excellent service. Our server, was even pushing for us to give her a cash tip advising that a cash tip she doesn't have to share with other servers. read more

First of all, service was lacking. We had to ask for utensils and napkins at least twice, same with bbq sauce. One of our friends had shrimp in her salad that was not completely cooked through. My husband's ribs were hard and tasteless and his potatoes were cold. My French onion soup was okay, but not great, and my Caesar salad was also tasteless. I'm not sure how they managed that. Have been here twice and the food is pretty good but don't go if you're under any sort of time restriction. The service both times has been lacking, employees are nice enough but it took well over 20-30 mins for food to come out and that's guessing lower than what it was. The outdoor area is very nice and the whole location is open and you don't feel cramped by any means. The bathroom situation is horrible. They have single unisex stalls that barely fit an average size person in them let alone someone with their small child. Room for improvement. read more

Don't know if it was the kitchen or the server. I would rank the food as "meh" (the four of us all got different meals) and diners could get better at a number of local venues at a lower price. I went to Yuengling Draft Haus during Oktoberfest on a Sunday for a day date with another couple. Not only did we have so much fun, but the food was absolutely AMAZING! Very fresh and full of flavor. I personally had the beer cocktails and loved both that I tried. They were so good. I didn't know what to expect with beer in the cocktail but it was done very well. This is a BEAUTIFUL place. However I wouldn't recommend this place other then having a few drinks. The food was okay nothing to rave about. I would also note on the menu they have a few meatball entrees however it's all impossible meat. I'm not sure why they don't offer regular meat as well.... not everyone eats vegan meat! They also have an automatic 18% gratuity. Our waitress was not attentive at all. If you are going to implement this the service should reflect it, however servers know they are getting the tip either way so they don't care about the service they offer. read more

We celebrated a family birthday here last weekend and had a fun time. The venue is huge with plenty of activities. The beer was also really good and reasonably priced in my opinion. I was surprised at how good the food was for being a brewery. Everybody enjoyed their meals and our server was very attentive. They had live music and cornhole and lots of other outdoor activities. Excited for this place to finally be open! And it does not disappoint. They have a huge location for the restaurant and bar area. I didn't eat on this trip since I just stopped in on the first day it was open and had a beer at the bar but the menu looks fantastic!!! Definitely more than just bar food. They also have a large outdoor area that will have lawn games and will have its own kitchen for food items, outdoor bar as well as another "prohibition bar" in the back in a separate building. They also have private rooms available for get togethers. This is going to definitely be an amazing new addition to this area especially near the university. Service at the bar was a little slow but I was there on the first day. I'm sure they will work the kinks out as they go. They only serve different styles of Yuengling beer and it will be interesting if they keep adding different styles. On my visit they had about 8 styles. Absolutely AMAZING desserts! The lemon meringue dessert was spectacular, with all kinds of sweet and salty components, and the strawberry shortcake had a delicious refreshing sweet strawberry "soup". This spot is everything you would expect from a huge brewery taproom experience. The facility itself is massive, so the upside is it would be great for very large parties. The service we experienced was abysmal, we waited almost 20 min seated at the bar for someone actually take our drink orders and it was tough to get someone's attention to put food in despite there being at least 4 people behind the bar and plenty of available seating. Overall it was an experience to taste the full variety of Yeungling beers on draft, but not something I would go out of my way to do again. read more

We showed up on grand opening night, so we expected some delays or hiccups but we're excited to try it out so didn't want to wait. I won't talk about the hiccups and this review will concentrate on what anyone would find during any visit. First off when you pull in, its very ample parking. Even has several electric vehicle charging stations. The entrance into the restaurant is open, nice and makes you anticipate the visit. Immediately on entry there is a decorate mural, gift shop to your left and hostess stand to the right a ways down. Their waiting area has little tables and chairs with QR codes to order at. Huge bar that sits, idk, 50 maybe. It's big. There's an outdoor sitting area. Conf room areas. Anothe separate soon to be open maybe expresso or draft area, don't remember. Everything about the interior and all the little perks (like the purse hooks under the bar), make it a cool place to hand out. But I was not happy with any of the food. We had burgers and fries, and the actual meat patties taste from frozen and poor quality :( So the magic answer is, yea maybe sure ok ...I'm sure if there was a group of friends that wanted to go, I'd have a drink and apps with them. For an establishment of this caliber I would expect a waiter to be available within 10 minutes. Not a 10 minute wait for a table, I mean 10 minute wait for a server to approach you. Then don't expect them to check on you after your food is served, it could take 20 minutes, just sitting there looking around for help for 20 minutes. So disappointed..... I really wanted this place to be good, but no. Sat at the bar and ordered some beer and a cheese burger. Beer was good of course but I was hoping it would be a little cheaper because they make it there but nope. I pay less for their beer at other places... How the hell does that work?!?!? Cheeseburger was horrible, it looked good and big but it had a small patty and definitely tasted like a frozen burger they microwaved, just bad. Waiter asked how it was and when I mentioned "it's definitely a frozen burger out of a box" he said "well yea everyone uses frozen food".... No, not everyone does. So to sum it up, the beer was good but wished it was cheaper, cheeseburger was over cooked and just bad and the fries were undercooked and bad. To start off this place is pretty awesome place to hang out for some beers and the lobster bisque fries are awesome! Now the burgers.... Not good at all. We all ordered burgers and they all came out cold. One cheese burger they forgot to even add the cheese. We let the server know and he was just like we've had a lot of complaints on the burgers and I'll get them competed. Problem is we came here for lunch, so we want to eat and they didn't even try to get us new burgers. So when they came back and asked if we saved room for desert, I was shocked bc our plates with the cold burgers were still in front of us.
