To start off this place is pretty awesome place to hang out for some beers and the lobster bisque fries are awesome! Now the burgers.... Not good at all. We all ordered burgers and they all came out cold. One cheese burger they forgot to even add the cheese. We let the server know and he was just like we've had a lot of complaints on the burgers and I'll get them competed. Problem is we came here for lunch, so we want to eat and they didn't even try to get us new burgers. So when they came back and asked if we saved room for desert, I was shocked bc our plates with the cold burgers were still in front of us. So. First time today. Not busy at all. Sat at bar for about 10 minutes before a bartender came over. Did have sone guy give us menus, but apparently he isn't old enough to serve. Couple beside us was catered to, while we sat waiting. We did get served..but bartender could be a little more attentive. I understand not wanting to pay for glass mugs, but the plastic mugs was not what I was expecting at a place like this. We didn't eat, wasn't real hungry, but also the food we saw around us didn't look real appealing. I am a Yuengling drinker, so wanted to come to check this place out. Feel like this concept is becoming the norm, so need something to separate from the others. If they had someone walking around with samples of the beers it would be so much easier on the bartenders and servers. Also, limit the samples because the lady beside us just had like 20 samples and bartender was busy doing that instead of tending rest of bar. Not sure if more training is needed. I know it's early still. But it's Saturday afternoon, 3PM and place isn't busy at all. Maybe others had same experience?? The atmosphere, well there is none!! Barely hear the music, just no vibes felt at all in here. Feels like i am at a funeral home to be honest. Even with this so-so review, we will maybe come back and try the food next time and give the service more time to get acclimated. Also, the one thing I can't stand...there were waitresses behind us, we sat at the bar, who were birching (loudly) about coworkers. It was right behind us and we couldn't even talk to each other because they were in our ears. They seemed like they didn't want to be here. Kept saying they were ready to go. Do better ladies!!! People are within earshot. also, no need for the wink wink service charge of 18%. I am a big tipper. But when you add a service charge of 18%, without any signage or anything saying you are doing this. That's shady!! Many people don't look at checks like I do. I was really looking forward to the opening of the draft haus but I was extremely disappointed. I realize it's the first week, and there may be going pains, but also, they should be pulling out all of the stops to make it excellent. Our drinks were great, I really loved my shandy. The pretzel was cold, but the other things on the plate were tasty. The chicken came out barley warm and was not fully cooked, pink in the center (I was comped for it) but had a good flavor. The dumplings were strange, and the veggies on top were not good. The burger was not good at all, no flavor, seemed to be frozen patties, the mustard was not there, and there was barely any pimento cheese. The French fries were also cold and under done. Overall, the atmosphere was great, it's a beautiful building with cool murals and a nice outside area but the kitchen needs help. read more

We did have an issue with our waitress disappearing for large spans of time, getting drink orders and forgetting, and generally not being attentive. However, I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt and try it again. Everyone else has told me the service is normally good. read more

We started the luncheon by walking distance to the other side of the building to be seated next to the kitchen. We ordered a meatball and lobster fries appetizer and iced tea. The group orders consisted of two Tampa pulled pork sandwiches one with beer cheese and Caesar salad and one without beer cheese with chips along with that we order the Brat-toberfest and a BullRito. The BullRito was disappointing because of the tortilla texture and for the pork sandwiches the one without beer cheese was wonderful if you scraped off the fried topping things the one with the beer cheese was nasty and the Caesar salad came with red sauerkraut at the bottom of the bowl. Everyone at the table was quite confused about why there was red cabbage at the bottom of a caesar salad. My mother is still VOMITING the Brat-toberfest. A group of 12 people went on a Thursday at opening. We made reservations on Open Table. We had a Great time! Servers were Lisa and Tee. They were so much fun. Manager was very friendly and hands on. Food was great! We're originally from PA near the original brewery. We live in Florida now. The menu was an upscale version of some of our PA favorites. We got a sampler plate with soft pretzel. Lebanon balogna, sauerkraut marmalade, Apple butter and other goodies. They had a chicken sandwich on a Fastnacht that was wonderful! Beers are good. For dessert, we got Hershey's chocolate beer and went to the ice cream truck on property and added coffee ice cream to make floats. Place is large. We took our 88 year old parents to see Billy Strings on Friday, April 12. Like Billy, they are originally from the Lansing area and love Bluegrass. Although Dad was a disappointed that Billy didn't sing many traditional bluegrass songs, they had a great time. He also was apprehensive of going, thinking it could get out of hand. But the opposite occurred. Mom had a walker and the crowd was very respectful, parting from their friends to let us pass through. Throughout the evening my folks received pats on the back, thumbs up as they passed through the crowd, folks asking how they liked the show, even hugs-from patrons and staff! The staff was absolutely amazing! They were extremely helpful and friendly. They are incredible. The one issue- We had arrived two hours early to avoid the crowds and there weren't any available porta johns. This place was great however, there was one issue that turned the experience sour: our waitress, Carrie. It was a group of 6 of us who visited and it was relatively steady in the restaurant. The food was excellent and exceeded my expectations. Our waitress came to the table and was immediately annoyed and made sure we knew. Whenever someone ordered she was rolling her eyes or if she did not hear the first time since it was loud inside she would proceed to give attitude. If someone had a question about other beers her response would be: if it's not on the menu we do not have it (rudely) or if someone had a question about the menu: she said well you can read on the menu (rudely). Carrie was not very friendly and this may not be the right environment for her if this is the way she treats paying customers. However, the rest of the staff we interacted with went above and beyond: the hostess, other servers, the staff who brought out the food - beyond friendly. I never like to point the finger at people but this experience occurred throughout the duration of our visit (2+ hours) and never improved and was uncomfortable to the point where our group felt like ordering more items would upset her. That's not a normal experience but other than that I will return and just hope I have a different waitress. read more

They were like basic yeungling but with mild flavors. The food was average at best. And I think way over priced. Service was pretty bad. Telling a server we're ready to leave but it takes 15 minutes to come back with the check - and by check, a mobile point of sale check out card reader. So no excuse. I will wouldn't come back. We entered the business and had a very slow hostess. After 10-15 mins they finally escorted us to the table. With maybe a handful filled? I got a cheesesteak. It was velveeta cheese. Over cooked steak and a wholesale/grocery bun. It could've been great. It was 2 stars out of 5 in my opinion. It wouldn't take much to fix the situation. But my rating is based on my experience. My husband and I checked out the new Draft House a few weekends ago and enjoyed our lunch there. All of the beers on tap were fresh and tasty, and the lobster fries are a must. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because the bar service was a little slow; the bar tender who originally seated us was not in a hurry to service anyone, and we had to flag down another person to get our drinks refilled even though he was standing around our area. We will probably return when my dad visits in October (he's a huge Yuengling fan) but otherwise wouldn't put this high on our list of regular beer spots. read more

It tasted like buffalo sauce with a gritty chalky taste. We both tried the cioppino. When the brought it out I looked down to see a huge pile of mustard colored rice.
