Whenever we order Chinese takeout, my daughter and I always order the shrimp fried rice, shrimp lo mien, and general Tso's chicken. We've tried plenty of different places around the area and I don't think we need to try anymore. This was by far the best. WOW. The food was delicious AND.... I ordered from them a couple of days ago. I had the sesame chicken dinner combo which came with pork fried rice and canned soda because I spent over $10. The chicken was really great! Lightly breaded and it tasted juicy. I didn't have to spit out any pieces of chicken from being overly cooked at all. Which is a miracle! Today I actually tried their lunch special general tso chicken with fried rice. The total came to $6.32 after-tax. The quality of the chicken was the same lightly breaded and juicy on the inside. I feel like I definitely got more rice than I did with the chicken this time around, but honestly it didn't bother me because it still filled me up pretty good. Not that impressed. They forgot one of my hot and sour soups, the noodles were bland, and the seseme chicken was dry. I ordered the schezwan extra spicy, and it wasn't even slightly hot. Haven't tried this take out place for a long time. Heard it got better so we tested it out. Hot and sour soup was great. Just the right amount of spicy and sour and nice with mushrooms and tofu. Could have used a bit more ginger to be perfect. Egg drop soup also very good. Wonton soup not great wouldn't get it again. My wife thought soup had MSG or some other ingredient that didn't agree with her. Shrimp and lobster sauce was very good. Succulent nice sized shrimp and very good flavor to the sauce. Fried rice also good but should have more pieces of roast pork in it. Roast pork egg foo young patty was very good. More like a thick omelette and we liked it. Unfortunately the sauce it came with is terrible. Not the nice sauce we would have expected that you get in NY and many other places. General Taos chicken big disappointment. Quite honestly one of the best Chinese restaurants I have been to. The quality of the food is well beyond the typical Chinese takeout restaurant and really makes Yummi stand out. My wife had the General tso's chicken and I had the Szechuan beef which was amazing. The portion sizes are very generous and the flavors were on point. Their general tso's chicken is all white meat and you can definitely taste the difference. The Szechuan beef was very savory with a hint of sweet and the celery carrot mix that accompanied the beef was excellent. We also had Krab Rangoon's which were amazing, nice and crispy exterior with soft creamy cheesy center. Overall we had an excellent experience and I am happy to have found this place! read more

I love this place. Tasty food, generous portions, well cooked meats (especially the chicken and beef on a stick). Their sauces in particular are really good, never overly salty but always flavorful. Dining in is not much of an option, but for takeout or delivery, get some Yummi. read more

I called this place just asking about the crab Rangoon since I am allergic to all the other ingredients people put in crab Rangoon I can only have the cream cheese and imitation crab and the way this company treats their customers is horrible I was greeted with such attitude over a simple question. I got yelled at and was told to look somewhere else. Then my husband called the store to speak with someone on how I was treated and they hung up on him and blocked our number. I went on line and ordered Chicken Teriyaki with Lo Mein for my wife and Beef Teriyaki with Brown Rice. I also ordered one Spring Roll and one Egg Roll. Because my bill was over $20.00 I also received a coupon for two free egg rolls, which I thought was very nice. I picked up the order about 25 minutes later and it was there waiting for me, which was also was very nice. When I got home and started to prepare our plates, I found that they served my wife's Chicken Teriyaki with my Brown Rice and my Beef Teriyaki with my wife's Lo Mein. I didn't really think that was a big deal because we just dished it out to our individual plates. Then we started to eat. At this point, I will be kind and not say another word. Just awful. Was really hoping for quality, but the food tasted under done and old. Also, I ordered online and selected ASAP and read that I should get notifications of the status but never did. I called half hour later asking when the food would be ready and the girl who answered explained that they try to get the orders done as soon as possible. Well duh that's what it says when I selected the time, but how is anyone to know their food is ready. Reading another comment I would've hated to get there and have to wait another half hour.
