I came here on a Friday evening around 530pm. We were the only customers in there. There were 3 staff working and they were all very nice and helpful. I think they need to make their menu more clear- it asks you to write a quantity next to the item. Ie write a number for shrimp. I didn't know if the quantity referred to the number of plates or number of food items because I've been to hot pot places that have asked for either of them. I eventually found out it referred to plates at this restaurant. I ordered quite a lot, a good mix of meat, seafood, and veggies. We also got the spicy soup. I would highly advise against getting spinach with the spicy soup. The spinach traps all the spicy ness and it becomes unenjoyably spicy. I also would not suggest any of the meat. We got beef, pork, steak, and some other red meat. I did not like any of them. They were dry and flavorless. I also did not like the tripe. I did really like the skinny white mushrooms, the crab meat, sausages, shiitake mushrooms, clear noodles, and udon. Though I enjoyed the latter, I don't know if I can justify paying $20 per person for boiled veggies dipped in a soy sauce mix. I did enjoy the single serving of ice cream for dessert. Like I said, really good service and enjoyed parts of the meal but was very disappointed by the meat which I was looking forward to the most. Service is very good. Our server explained how to adjust the stove. It is all you can eat for $20.99. They give you the menu so you can pick broth, meats, veggies and etc. they always come back to ask if we needed more things. My hubby ate a lot so he always asked for me. Their "All-You-Can-Eat" Special is so bomb, and unlike other hot pot places, you order what you need instead of sampler platters. You didn't get enough? Get more! We ordered the spicy broth and beef broth. The spicy broth was like a Szechuan based, very spicy and a lot of pepper corn. I was not able to eat it and asked for a different broth. They said they can add more broth to dilute it but not change to another soup base. They still charged me full price. The seafood was meh per husband. He stated the broth was not flavorful. Came to Denver for a business trip and decided to try out this place. The place was pretty big. Everything seem clean. It was an all you can eat hot pot. They had different broths to choose from: beef bone, spicy, herbal, and tomato broth. I chose the herbal which was okay. They had variety of meat, vegetables, seafood, and noodles to choose from. This was pretty good. Definitely a hole in the wall in a random location that looks run down from the outside. Don't let it deter you. Service was attentive and for all you can eat for under $20 a person, can't complain. They served individual broths by seat, and everything else by the table. Tried the lean beef and lamb, frozen and silky tofu, and a variety of the vegetables. They do charge you for uneaten food - I.e. don't order more than you think you can finish. They also have a sauce bar so you can create your own mixture of sauces to dip your meats, seafood, and veggies in. I am a big fan of this because you can create your own flavors and there is no limit on this. I just wish they would give you a description of what's in some of the not so obvious sauce selections, so you know what else might be good mixing in. Finally, ice cream is included. Their phone has not worked for months. Tried to call to make reservation and had to ask someone who went there to make reservation for my group. I tried to call them on the day of the event to confirm and the phone still didn't work. I stopped my there to confirm the reservation and to my surprise, their internet does not work. Hmmmm...therefore, they can't take credit cards. However, they can take PayPal payments. I think they can use their cellphone for internet service. At least in California, they give you discounts for paying with cash. I had a bad feeling about this place from the first few times I had issues getting a hold of them. I just wonder how good/bad food would have been if they cannot even taken care of simple thing like getting their phone to work or paying for internet service. Decided to try this place on our way to airport bc of the great reviews. First time at a "hot pot" and didn't know really know what to order. Our waitress was very kind & explained how to order. My husband had the mushroom broth and I chose the bone pork broth. We ordered a variety of vegetables, pork belly, squid, clams, beef for our protein choices, rice noodles & rice vermicelli. I've eaten Szechuan food on 3 continents including mainland China. While this isn't the best Szechuan restaurant I have been in, it is the best on this continent. The spice levels are perfect, the attention to detail on the food is spectacular and the service was excellent. At this point I have eaten here 5 or 6 times. We have developed a few favorites on the menu but have never found something we don't enjoy. The green beans are excellent. They have the right amount of heat and garlic. The Ching Qing Chicken is probably my favorite item on the menu. It's got this amazing amount of ginger that will change how water tastes for the next 2 hours. Don't believe me? Try it. You will thank me. One of my favorite soups is Western Lake beef soup and they do it perfectly. The only thing we didn't like on the menu was the fried rice. But honestly we just ordered that for a picky teen ager so who cares if it was good. read more

The service is fairly subpar but they actually serve pretty authentic sichuan dishes if you know what to order. I came with a couple big groups so was able to try multiple dishes. Here's a rundown of the highlights. The Chong-qing spicy chicken is a signature sichuan dish and they make a pretty good one here. The spicy boiled beef in hot chili oil is also a really good version. The sauteed string beans and fried spicy potato slices are great. The cumin lamb is just OK, I've had a lot better elsewhere. They simply don't put enough cumin seeds in there. The mapo tofu is forgettable and subpar. Avoid the fried noodles and fried rice dishes. That's not what sichuan cuisine is known for. P.S. There's parking in a private lot right directly next to the restaurant that fits around 10-12 cars. read more

This was my first hot pot experience in Colorado. Other places I've been to are where we have to share a big pot so I love that restaurants do individual bowls nowadays. It's $20.99 for all you can eat which is a great deal. The meat, seafood, veggies and other foods seem pretty fresh. We ordered a whole plethora of food but the best in my opinion were: luncheon meat, enoki, Napa cabbage, silken tofu, Korean rice cakes... We did order shrimp and mussels but they didn't bring those out so we had to order shrimp again. Clams were also good. Beef was super fatty and so was pork belly (obviously). I got pork bone broth which was pretty good. I was disappointed there wasn't beef bone broth though. My boyfriend got hot and spicy and he liked his. I liked the huge selection of sauces but I prefer dipping in hoisin sauce. The dessert area was an added bonus with sweet orange slices, some kind of cake and those butterfly cookies. I want to try Aki next time so I can see which I like better. Overall service was good and they played loud edm so I liked that. read more

This place has amazing service and the food is ridiculously delicious. I typically get the spicy Brit th extra spicy. I have tried the pork and Tom yum as well. All delicious! The pore people you go with, the more you can share and try different things, learn what you like and don't. Not sure how this place got lots of high ratings which does not at all resemble our experience. I assume that it is because they serve all you can eat for $20.99/person. The restaurant is not tidy; in fact it feels kinda greasy. While there are lots of selections at the sauce bar, the Sacha sauce (satay) and Lao gan ma sauce (chili sauce) didn't taste right, likely mocked up no name brand. Food is really not impressive. Sweet corn is precooked and withered. Dried tofu skin is cut into tiny pieces that disappears the moment you drop it in the broth. The quality of their beef and lamb is poor probably due to the price/AYCE. The so-called spicy broth is not spicy at all and actually flavorless. Also, the soup base has an odor from the bone broth/stock that is probably not best handled during the cooking process. Veggies are fresh though. read more

I would recommend this place but after my last experience I would say find another place. And also take a picture of the menu that you mark before it's taken from you. This was the 3rd time I've been to this place. The first time was with a large group and had a lot of fun and the food was great. Second time I went by myself, food was good but the service was so-so. This last time I went it was terrible. I asked for the paper menu you mark so they know what you want. But the second time around - because it is all you can eat - I asked for the menu but the guy gave me a look and then walked away, not bringing me a menu. I know he spoke English because he offered me refill on my soup. So the lady server came by and I finally asked and got a menu. I marked up 3 items. One being the shrimp with head. It's on the menu that way. She came out with the two items but there was no shrimp but some weird balls. I told her this is not what I ordered. She went back and came back with the menu. The menu I didn't mark up. And then she pointed that this is what I ordered. I tried to explain - because she didn't understand me - that this was not my menu. Its all you can eat! And if they don't want to serve the shrimp the second time, they need to tell people. I was so mad. And I normally never get mad at restaurants knowing how crazy it can get in the back. But this place was empty. And there was no excuse. My advice people; take a picture of the menu before it leaves the table or put an initial or name or something on it. Dan Dan noodle was OK, a bit too watery lacking the normal minced pickled veggies and other spices that you would normally expect from an authentic Dan Dan noodle. The taste was lackluster, but not too bad. The grilled fish, though, was a huge disappointment. It was literally like a precooked fish swimming in abundant instant-hot-pot-sauce, which you could easily acquire at any Asian market. Great service - warm, fast and responsive. Everything is delicious. I like their sesame sauce, lamb, clam and all the fresh vegetables.

First time last night. There is a slight language barrier. But the staff was kind and attentive and yet didnt pester you either. It was a little loud in the sense that people were happy and social. A table sang happy birthday and we all joined in. It's a small place. Maybe, maybe the size of a 711. One big room. No private space I could see. But clean and neat. The food was delicious. It was a wonderful Experience. No doggie bags. All You can eat but you can't take extras home. You get a paper menu and you make marks next to the items you want. If you have multiple people wanting say, the same broth... you make two marks in the box. Same with additional items. They bring you a metal pot that cooks on the table top built in burner. You add things in the order it'll take to cook them. Potatoes, hearty vegetables then delicate things like veggies and noodles. The condiment bar has sauces and things like hoisin, scallions, garlic, oyster sauce etc. and you go up and help yourself. I ate out of the metal bowl Until I realized they had little soup bowls available for you to ladle your broth into. Guests and other dinners were friendly and helpful and I spoke to several Others who were very kind. The burner controls are on the table. So you can raise or lower the heat on your broth as you need it. Turn it up to cook your proteins and then lower it to a simmer while you eat. As with Pho, the portions are huge. Probably a quart of broth or more per person and the veggies, noodles and such were plentiful. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the social atmosphere. Dinner and a show. We arrived about 1800hrs and didn't leave Until about 2100 because we sat and talked, drank tea and had a wonderful conversation. $20.99 and all inclusive on the ingredients. The shrimp Meatballs were nice. The mussels were huge and The veggies were fresh and the broth was delicious. If you like Pho, you'll love this. I'll definitely go back. read more
