Poke is not my go to, but order from here cause my wife likes the place. We ordered through doordash for delivery and I got the teriyaki bowl. Doordash's app fails to let people select ingredients for the chicken teriyaki bowl like it does for the poke bowl and so my chicken teriyaki bowl was just rice and chicken, not like the pic on doordash. So dissappointed especially since doordash charged $14 and change, not to include service fees. I could've made better at home tbh. We've brought this up with doordash and hopefully the owners can work things out with them to let customer's pick ingredients for the chicken teriyaki bowl. Awesome food and service! This place is great. The folks who work there are super friendly, and gave us really big bowls of poke. There is also a free soda for yelp check-ins :) The food is super fresh. We got 2 bowls, with salmon, spicy tuna, albacore, and octopus. For the veggies, we got EVERYTHING hahahaha (yes that is an option!). The portions were huge! There is a mountain of food on top of the bowl--the mountain was so high, food from the mountain kept falling off to the side! The fish is in large chunks, so it's full of fish protein for every bite. The staff who work there are very friendly, and checked with us to see if the food is good. The atmosphere inside is also quite nice, with nice clean tables, chairs, and a large open interior. There is also nice "Adele" background music. The walls and floors are all very clean. I love the poke here and the employees, usually very sweet, today though, I started my bowl and as we made it down the options, I asked for avocado, all out, I asked for crab salad, all OUT, I asked for cilantro, aLL OUT, why would they not let you know before you start your bowl what they are out of, because obviously I don't want to just leave my bowl but it was basically salmon and rice, then I asked for Thai tea also out??????, maybe they should make a sign to let people know, the girl working was still very nice and it's not her fault but maybe just let customers know, I thought she would offer a discount after telling us the 4 things were all out, but nope. Pretty good poke spot in the Rocklin area. Poke in general is pricey, but going there once in awhile if you're craving for some poke is good. The size there is decent and the amount they give is also good. The staff there are friendly and the place inside is clean. Only reason for 4 stars is for location. It's hard to find parking in the evening. This was my first time here and having poké. The dinning area was clean but lacked size. We went on a weeknight and they had just enough seating. The place is super clean, and service was wonderful. You order at the counter where you customize what to compliment your poke with. I went albacore/tuna/salmon with unagi sauce and souzo sauce (?)accompanied by white rice/cucumber/crab meat /edamame/carrots/masago. It was very fresh and the smaller option was just enough for dinner. Can't imaging the bigger bowl you can get-maybe good to split with someone. I'll be back for more poké in the future. My take on the poké bowl is, It's basically sushi rolls unwrapped. Nice addition to the area, and only one of its kind in our area; bonus; use the check in, get a free drink. read more

When do I not crave poke? I came here after searching for poke in the Roseville area and stumbled across this place on Yelp. Located in a small strip club, this poke place is a small little shop in the Rocklin area. After looking over their menu, I ordered a small poke bowl with albacore, tuna, and spicy tuna with a mix of all my usual poke toppings. The cuts of fish were not as fresh that day and ended up being a little stringy. I wish they had already marinated poke, as this allows for the most flavors :) They did have a lot of toppings, although the day I went they happened to be out of a few things which was a bummer. All the things they did have as far as toppings were fresh and were added generously to my bowl. I ended up paying about 11 dollars for my bowl, which is a little more expensive than other places I have been to. The store was packed when we came, showing the popularity of this place. The staff was super friendly while ringing up my order and made recommendations for me when I asked. The store was clean inside, although a little dark. I came in on Sunday afternoon, and if I had never eaten Poke before I would have been totally lost. The main issue was that they were out of several proteins. The amount of protein in your regular serving really depends on who is preparing your order. Some days you get a good amount for a three-scoop bowl, but on some days you get half as much protein in a three-scoop. There is no consistency. Orders are assembled carefully and cleanly. First, if you love sushi, you will LOVE POKE! Went to this place about 8 months ago and have gone back several times, they know me and my boyfriend by now! I always get myself white rice with a mixture of tuna, salmon and shrimp. You also have the choice of getting greens or a mix of the greens with rice. The sauces are so good, I always get the sweet unagi with house sauce (Yes you can mix!) Next toppings: Always get myself the edamame, seaweed salad, carrots, cucumbers, fish eggs and green onions! My boyfriend and I ate here on (1/18). We both got salmon and tuna, I didn't like the food. The fish had no flavor and was very chewy so I stopped eating it. My boyfriend finished his and I'm very certain got food poisoning from it. We had our salmon served from the same batch but the tuna came from different containers. This is the only thing we ate that day so it was the food from this place. I've been to many poke places and this place was definitely the worst one. I tried calling today (1/19) to let the store know that their food was either improperly stored or contaminated but no one picked up. Other than that the service was not great and the employees didn't wear masks. I looked into why the reviews for this place are so high and it seems to be that their food and service was great when they first opened but now as severely gone downhill. Tons of people went back to update 5 star reviews to 1/2 stars. After the movies we decided to stop and get get poke bowls- I have gotten this in Vacaville, Davis and Fair Oaks - this was the first time here - needless to say I wasn't happy as the person behind the counter barely filled the bowl - everywhere I've gone it's always filled to the brim. There selection wasn't great either. Then when I asked for wasabi - she took a little container barely put any in - a dab really, the same with fresh ginger barely any. I had to request more of everything - the same with the toppings - my bowl was mostly rice!! And filled halfway. I got a 3 protein so I expected it to have a little more protein than rice. Seems like they are skimping on everything and for what I paid for it - it's not worth it - go somewhere else, anywhere else. They also don't have packets of soy - same thing, you request it and they put it in a small container.
