This place couldn't really be at the most perfect location. As you can see the, the view is beautiful. However, the moment the server brought out the edamame I knew the food was going to be bland. It was completely dry with a dash of salt on it The sushi was okay, like I said tasted very bland. If we had known we wouldn't have done the all you can eat option, we would have opted for a la carte. Fast forward two days, I'm sick with food poisoning. We were informed that they were backed up at the bar and so the nigiri/rolls would be taking some time, which was fine with us. As we were midway ordering our nigiri (about 12 pieces for four people), she stopped us and asked if we wanted anything else. We ordered some apps & went back to ordering nigiri, and were told that we were cut off for the round. Waited about 10/15 minutes for the food. Personally was not a fan of how much rice there was & the texture. The fish was super fresh though! Edamame was bland. Tuna Crispy rice was good & id order again! I always try the basic rolls first only because it is hard to mess up but easy to spot if the fish is fresh or not. The rolls come out a bit slow, so we recommend to order a few roles at a time. The services are super nice and attentive. Now let's talk quality: for all you can eat its decent. We were here for 2 hours and only got 6 of the 1/2 rolls because of how long they took to bring out everything. We gave up on waiting and asked for the check. The sashimi we had was SO buttery and the tuna didn't have that fishy aftertaste that I'm usually not a fan of. During our visit to SD, a friend recommended this restaurant; which turned out to be one of our best finds in SD! Their sushi rolls were soooooo delicious and beautifully presented. In particular, I loved their eel roll. We ordered at least 6 rolls, 4 appetizers, one entree and a beer. That fed 4 adults with a little leftover for lunch the next day!
