They gave us menus to look at while they set up. Once they took our order we got seated at a table. The food came out pretty quick. I got the rose pasta. It was decent. Only issues were the shrimp were overcooked and the food temperature wasn't hot. The sauce and meat were good though. Tried the K Rose Pasta and Galbi Rice. The flavors were okay. The Galbi was overcooked and although the flavor was not bad, it could've been better. I liked the sauce they used for the Rose Pasta, it was like a peanut buttery flavor. But, the shrimp was overcooked, and (again) the Bugolgi, while was not bad, could had been better. The portion sizes were small but enough to feed you so you didn't leave hungry or too fulll. The inside decor is a little cute, a little tacky, and really reminded me of something you would see in Asia. The service was very good. The servers were all very nice! P.S. Tried to do a phone order but I don't think they answer their phones. Walked in to order and it was pretty fast. I ordered the Rosé pasta and was pleasantly Surprised! I enjoyed it very much. It was cooked to perfection. There was a great amount of protein, & the bulgulgi was very tender and seasoned very well. You get three shrimps and they're also very large & well cooked. What a good find for us on a Sunday afternoon. ZLunch offers KTown vibe with a lot of Korean theme... The DJ set up right in the middle of the dining room is a different set up, although we didn't experience that part at this time. The interior decor was very KPOP like & very clean. We tried the Beef Noodle soup & The Beef Rice Cake dish. Both were very tasty however I have to bring up the lack or No (Bonchon= Side dishes) in a Korean set up is questionable. I love trying new restaurants and decided to take my daughter here for our lunch date. It's a cute place with booths and tables. It's just a little cold for me. Probably bc I'm sitting under the AC in January weather but if you get cold easily then bring a sweater. It is worth a visit bc the food is amazing. We were not disappointed with our orders at all. We got the seafood combo soup in level 2, the bulgogi k-rose pasta, and the creamy onion chicken. The soup was tangy and spicy enough for us (we're weak with spice ). The bulgogi pasta was flavorful and I liked that it's surf and turf (bulgogi and shrimp). The creamy onion chicken was good and crispy and the creamy sauce was great. Ambiance is a bit club-like. No TVs (if that's your vibe). We didn't order drinks so not sure about their drink selection. Staff were attentive and very nice. The skewers rice is a must try. It's flavorful and the beef is so tender. Bulgogi cream pasta is also great, I like their sauce. However, the spicy noodle can have some improvements. Noodles is kind of soggy, and broth doesn't have enough kimchi flavors. Also, there are some clams shells in the fried rice. Will need to be careful when eating it. Wife did some searching, saw the reviews and picked this spot for lunch. We came around 1130am on a Sunday morning. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout. Very upbeat with expected tables and chair but also had booths like a night club. They even have a DJ booth with disco balls hung around, assuming they covert this into a lounge at night. They were playing a variety of KPop songs, some upbeat and others chill beats. We ordered the Spicy Singaporean Fried rice and the Creamy Rose pasta. These two were often order per the reviews so we went with them. They did not disappoint! Food was tasty! Everything was seasoned well, the shrimp and calamari for the fried rice was cooked appropriately, not overcooked and rubbery. The bulgogi in the creamy rose pasta was juicy and tender. Walking in, this place was busy, their hours are cut short, so we still had 2 hours to spare. A lot of seating still available, but short-staffed, repairs going on while eating so a bit on the loud side. We sat there without menus for a bit, and we waited to have our order taken even longer so we sat there for 30 min waiting. The table was a little on the sticky side, the overall appearance wasn't the most esthetically pleasing, not the cleanest, a lot going on in there. The host was sweet when she did get to us and was very apologetic for the delays. We ordered dumplings, the kimchi fried rice, and kimchi fries and Thai tea. Presentable food, and great flavor, I just didn't understand the cheesy corn under a few of the dishes. It was so cheesy it did get stuck and was a bit heavy, the rice was delicious on its own. I've loved the food at ZTown ever since it opened, so when I heard they were launching a morning menu called ZLunch with some new dishes, I couldn't wait to check it out! I was excited, and ZLunch did not let me down. I decided to go for two dishes: tteokbokki and Korean seafood spicy noodles. Tteokbokki is honestly my all-time favorite, it's just perfect! The spicy noodles come in 7 different spice levels, which is pretty cool because you can pick what suits your taste. The spiciest is level 7, but since I tend to shy away from anything too hot, I went with level 2, and it was just right for me. If you find yourself around here, you've got to come and try these two dishes. You won't regret it!
