This place is an adorable casual Thai restaurant on Lover's Lane. I would have ordered more items, but I know I wouldn't be able to finish them all. As it was I still had to take home half of my order of crab rangoons, pad see ew, and spring rolls. I enjoyed all of my dishes, but the spring rolls were so overstuffed with lettuce they were impossible to eat without them falling apart. The service was efficient and friendly. There are several tables available if you choose to do so, as I did. I would certainly come back here again if I was in the area! read more

It's strange... 20 years ago I could spend $10 at a local Thai restaurant and have my mind blown. Now, I spend30 and regret my decision to dine out. This was just generic, watered down fare. My experience was extraordinarily disappointing as I know just how good Thai food can get. this restaurant is fo people who obviously don't know any better as noted by the high 5 star ratings My pad Thai was mostly flavorless and the spring rolls fell apart.. shredded lettuce with not much else. Stopped by somewhere close to this place and after decided to try it out for lunch since I was hungry. Ended up meeting the owners Alexis & Her Husband and didn't even know because they were so nice and humble. They ended up suggesting different things off the menu in which I took their advice and ordered the garlic stir fry w/shrimp since I'm a pescatarian & the shrimp wraps. My food came out really fast and I wasn't disappointed at all. Everything had the right flavor and was cooked to perfection. I just would want my stir fry to be a little more garlicky next time (I love garlic ). The portions were huge imo and I finished all of it because I had just finished my gym workout before. We were PISSED off with this location and the staff... we ordered $60 of food and sat down patiently.... 25 minutes go by and we walk up to ask "hey guys, can we check on our order?" They say "oh yeah, this is it...." It had been sitting there at the counter for 15 minutes. Nobody called our number out... nobody attempted to call out a name... they just left it there.... On Valentine's Day. Won't be coming back here, they didn't even apologize... very frustrating, especially because I was kind to their staff and even bought an ice cream because they looked home made. read more

What bothered me, though, was when I went up to ask for a take-out lid, I saw through the open window to the kitchen someone wearing food preparation gloves who was on their phone, scrolling and tapping away. They have been open a month and we had the Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles - these are standard dishes to try out and they did not disappoint. I live in Killeen and come to Dallas for appts. And I always have to stop here at this location. I love the customer service and the owner is so sweet. Food is amazing!! This time me and my daughters tried the Lao beef jerky, Tom Kha, Lao chicken-noodle soup, Drunken noodles with 2 spice level and Nam Khao which was yummmmmy!!! I loved the crunch in it!!! Yes we were Big backs today!!! So far everything has been fresh and lovely! My grand baby also had the cookies and cream ice cream sandwich thingy that has macaroons as the cookie holding it together. So So So worth it, don't mind the price u can share with another person and it's good!!! Plus her place is always clean as well as the restroom and food comes out really fast!!!! Came to visit this location to satisfy a craving after having Zaap from another Zaap location. I really and truly enjoyed the food and service here. The owners and workers were super attentive and made sure to keep my group updated with the status of our orders. It was very personable as they used my name instead of a number to let me know when my food was done. I ordered the beef pad see ew and it was really solid. The seating areas were plentiful and I enjoyed the chalk drawings on the walls. Would recommend this place to anyone craving Thai and/or Lao food!! read more

The food is incredible. I live in ft worth and was having a day date in dallas. If we lived closer, this would be in my top frequented places. My favorite hands down was the wings and papaya salad (thai version, havent tried the lao version yet). It is SPICY but so flavorful. Thise wings were some of the best flavored wings ive ever had in my life. The flavor is so difficult to describe: umami, savory, salty, just good. My partner got the jerky and said it was really good. Its not a dry and chewy as traditional jerky but its very thin cuts of slightly tough beef. Good flavor as well. The coconut chicken soup was good, but ive made better at home, especially for the price. It was very well seasoned and savory, but i think it was missing a hint of sweetness to set off the saltiness. He also said the shrimp fried rice was good, made fresh to order and they keep the tails on. Overall, it was really good food and supporting a small business. The crab cream cheese rangoons are good, made fresh as well. They roll them up like spring rolls vs the traditional rangoon shape. The only con was the price. We paid $75 for two entrees, soup, an appetizer, and one drink. Seems a bit much to me, but I would definitely visit again when in the area. read more
