I'm really really upset right now. I have a disability that makes it hard to eat out. I just got out of a very long doctor appointment and I live very far from here and was hungry. I found this place with what looked like a lot of options for me (have to be vegan and gluten free). We just went in and asked the person working the front if certain things had gluten in the ingredients, and after determining there was no flour in the falafel or the potato salad or grape leaves, that's what I ordered. It came on a giant bed of rice. I took a small bite and realized there are what looks like bits of noodle in it. WHEAT NOODLE. Please the staff need to take this seriously! I have to wait all night now to make sure I don't go into shock. I have been so cautious in this pandemic and not eaten out at all until I was fully vaccinated because I am so high risk, and now this. Disabled people should be able to eat at a restaurant. I understand if there are zero options for me, then of course I can't eat there. But if there are options, and I am ordering saying I can't have gluten, please take notice and let me know it's served over a big thing of rice with wheat noodle. Absolute worst service I have ever had. My boyfriend an I get there and order 1 entree of a lamb chop and a rice. Mind you, their rice is already pre-made. So all they had to cook was the lamb chop. We waited there for 45 minutes watching people come in after us, place their order, and sit and wait and still leave before us. We finally decide to say something after 45 minutes of waiting and being the only people left in the restaurant. We ask where our food was and they hadn't even started it. They had lost the order, and on top of that offered nothing, no apology, just said okay we will start it now, and then gave us a hassle when we said no we just want a refund at this point. I really enjoy their beef plate. it comes with either one or two skewers on a bed of rice and two sides of your choice. They have a variety up on front for you to see and they also make it fresh daily. I usually always get their greek yogurt and hummus. A plate also comes with a pita bread type item.... (not really sure if it's pita bread though, i dont know whats it called :X I have yet to try their baklava or falafels because the beef plate usually fills me up with food to spare for the next meal! lol. I really wanted to try their shwarma but they make it with lamb and i'm not a fan of lamb. I definitely recommend this place. The front fools you because it looks like a fast food looking type shop but they are made to order and it does taste pretty fresh. I love this place! I love that they make everything fresh to order so for those who are complaining the wait is too long, hit a drive thru. Every time I've eaten here, the food has been fresh and delicious and the staff is so friendly. They introduced all the salads to me the first time I ordered here and made sure my order was correct before I took it. Today I ordered online for pick up, and right as I submitted my order, they called me to confirm and give me a pick up time. Customer service here is excellent and you can tell they care. The chicken kabob combo plate is amazing. Chicken is grilled to perfection and is delicious with the garlic sauce. The Mediterranean salad is my favorite and I tried the cucumber yogurt salad for the first time today, which was yummy also. DELICIOUS!! I grabbed lunch to go last Friday from here and I must say...I will definitely be going back. I got the chicken and meat/lamb (don't remember the name) combo and everything from the rice, meats, salads, and pita was delicious!! Their coke machine wasn't dispensing at that time, so we were given bottles instead. The service was a little slow but I completely understand and not even complaining about it because it was definitely worth it! Although I miss the donut shop, because it's had been there since I moved here at 9 years old manyyyy years ago, this is definitely a healthier and tastier option. Ok, so their food is prepared to order. I had the chicken kabobs, my wife the veggies kabob. Their food is very good. Best I've had actually. They are very friendly. This place is HANDS DOWNNNNN the BEST Mediterranean place in all of IE. initially it seems pretty pricey but they give you HUGE portions. My family and I went to Zait Bistro after spending a whole morning in Big Bear. We were all tired and hungry. I heard from a friend that there is a good Arabs place in Rancho Cucamonga. In addition, my friend told me the chef used to cook for one of the Princes in Dubai. Anyway, we went and tried out their food. I am Chinese and some of the salad is good while some of them require some getting used to. We all like the meat, particularly the chicken, the meat is quite juicy and the taste is good. The food is really good and they serve a wonderful turkish coffee. Normally I'd recommend this place but I have to warn about splinters being found in the food. My wife and I ordered food there and we found some wood splinters in the meat. When we called to let them know what happened, they told us that they usually are good about catching the splinters but its a part of how they cook with the skewers. However, these were large splinters that could potentially cause damage if swallowed. As I said, the food is good but there is a chance of finding large, wood splinters in the meat that are a hazard. read more

Skip this place. Ordering: I think my food order was taken by the manager? (I may be wrong). Before I ordered, I asked her for my wait time and if it would take long. This is an update from my original review. Don't get me wrong, I still think their food is great but I stopped going when I saw that the staff where handling the food and packaging while preparing their orders without masks. I thought it was mandated in San Bernardino County and the state that all restaurants have all employees wear masks while working and preparing food orders and food prep. It really made me feel uneasy and I had to stop going there. It was weird that all the customers were required to go inside and make orders with masks on but all of them behind the counter wore NO MASKS on. That just didn't make sense to me. I am a healthcare worker and it was really not safe to me to have them prepare my food and package them and handle all the utensils and bags and food containers with no gloves and masks. The food is always great but their hygiene practices against COVID-19 is just deplorable. My other friends told me the same thing and they too stopped going. It just isn't safe for the customers. read more
