I've eaten here 3 times already. I have tried these items: 1. chicken shawarma - my favorite dish here. Chicken is tender and well marinated. 2. beef/lamb kefta - moist and lightly seasoned. I kick it up a notch by dipping it in their strong garlic sauce. 3. chicken kabob - good flavor 4. beef/lamb shawarma - good but not very juicy 5. falafel - good for a falafel, but I've never been a fan of falafels. My favorite side item is the Mediterranean salad. So, compared to other middle eastern places in the area, I rank this place above Mezzaterranean. I like Giuseppe's in Upland better due to the superior Koobideh kabob (Persian version of kefta), and also because Giuseppe is a nice sit down restaurant with full service. read more

Been here 4 times. Always a super long wait. They use the excuse "our food is fresh and takes time to cook " Look, I get it but they operate their business poorly. To maximize your customer service and cash flow put in another grill, have an extra cook like all good restaurants do. Tonight they had no pita bread or other stuff so I walked out. Bottom line the food is good but it's not " wait 25 min for your order good " I won't be back. read more

Clean area. Came here for lunch on Sunday. Wanted a quick bite to eat because it's super bowl Sunday. The employees were pretty friendly, and the meet is MADE TO ORDER so expect some waiting time. Ordered the kefta kabob. With a side of hummus and tubuli. Roughly took around 10-15 minutes until my food came out. Everything is made very fresh and in house. The rice is the best ever -- Rice is my favorite food (lol) and this rice could be eaten everyday without boredom. The Kefta kabab is my favorite menu item. I was craving Mediterranean so drove out of my place based on Yelp reviews. Took at least 35 min for my chicken kebab plate.. $13 for 2 skewers is a bit steep. A customer who ordered after me got his food before me. Chicken was tender and Juicy, but pita bread was cold and directly out of the fridge! :( Cashier (probably the mother) was not very friendly, maybe she had a bad day?. We ordered the #10 falafel plate large, that came with 6 falafel, rice and 2 side salads and pita bread. Everything was very tasty. The garlic sauce was a bit hot but good. While the service was good and the food tasted ok I was left hungry and upset at feeling ripped off. Worst middle eastern food I've had in my life! I usually drive all the way to Pasadena, Zankou chicken, when I'm craving middle eastern food.
