WALK IN OR RESERVATION NEEDED: No reservations needed here -- it's a typical fast-casual setup where you walk in, order at the counter, and either take a seat or grab your food to go. The process was straightforward, and even during peak lunch hours the line moved quickly. Drive-thru was busy but seemed decently efficient. LOCATION/PARKING: Located on Blue Diamond Rd in a newer shopping area with plenty of parking. The lot is spacious, well-maintained, and there were still open spots during lunch. It's easy to find from the main road with clear signage. Definitely convenient if you're already running errands in the area. AMBIANCE / CLEANLINESS: The inside was clean, bright, and modern -- very much what you'd expect from a chain that's still new to Las Vegas. Tables were wiped down promptly, floors were free of stray fries or napkins, and the sauce station was stocked. It's fast-casual, so not particularly cozy, but tidy and functional. EMPLOYEES: The staff was polite and handled the lunchtime rush well. They greeted us at the counter and answered a couple quick questions about sauces without seeming annoyed. Food came out in about 6-8 minutes, which felt fair given the steady flow of customers. MENU: Zaxby's is pretty much a chicken specialist: Chicken tenders (Fingers), wings (both boneless and traditional), chicken sandwiches, and their big salads ("Zalads"). Meals come with crinkle fries, Texas toast, and you pick your sauce from a big list -- Zax sauce, Tongue Torch, Wimpy, etc. Price-wise, it felt steep for what you get. Our combo meal (5 fingers, fries, toast, drink) was over $12 before tax, and the Zalad was close to $13. Compared to similar spots like Cane's or Popeyes, the portions didn't seem noticeably larger to justify the extra cost. But for me, it didn't stand out -- it tasted like any other chicken chain, and the price just didn't feel justified given the ordinary portions and flavors. Simple mistakes shouldn't be made at a new restaurant. How are you going to forget half of an order when somebody goes through the drive-through over an of drive time to get my order correct then the manager on duty wants to blame the drive-through team if they were trained to put the order all in one bag for two items, maybe there wouldn't be a problem, mind you when I arrived. I was the only person there that should've been my first clue when it's that slow I shouldn't have to worry about checking to make sure my order is correct. Edit: got home food is bland ordered sweet and spicy wings barely and flavor to the sauce basically there to make the wings wet and distract you from the wings being over cooked. The manager also gave me 2 cookies for the inconvenience, that comes up short of the hour of my life spent getting the correct food. I like that zaxbys doesn't use peanut oil when cooking their food. I always have relatives around me who have peanut allergies and they cannot eat from Chik Fil A. Zaxbys taste nearly the same. I went online to look at the menu, and liked that you can order items separately, and not just part of a meal package. I went ahead and placed an order since I was already there. The checkout process was simple, and gave me a time the order would be ready. I chose the pick up through drive through. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly, and my order was ready. My order consisted of 10 fingers, fried pickles, cheddar bites, and a sauce sampler. I was looking forward to the sauce sampler since I've never seen a place offer all the sauces like that, and to my disappointment that was missing from my order. I did have a Zax sauce, spicey Zax, hot honey mustard, and ranch as those ones were included with the items I ordered. Very rarely do I ever post a one star review, so when I do, you know they deserve it. I placed an order through the app at 2:40pm. It said my order would be ready in 21 minutes. I've been sitting in drive thru and it's now 3:10pm and still 2 cars ahead of me. The first window is to pay, but since mine was already paid, I was told to wait for the second window. Why? Why can't you just hand me my order so I can leave? Utterly ridiculous service! If I hadn't pre paid, I would have left. I don't care how good or bad the food is, I will never return here. The runner apologizes for his mistake, but now I have to wait even longer for my order to be replaced. So I've lived in Las Vegas for a few years now. When we first arrived, we were delighted at how much lower the prices were than they are in WA. A few years in, we now see that a lot of restaurants are taking their cues from the casinos here and hitting customers with annoying fees or higher than normal charges. As of last week, I'm officially done with that and my grading of places that do it is going to be pretty harsh. I usually love Zaxby's food. I've eaten there in other states as recently as the last three months. They're not the greatest chicken strips or sandwiches in existence but they're pretty solid if the price is right. I almost always stop at the Cedar City location when I'm on my way north. The franchise owners there are extremely hospitable and reasonable. Their prices are fair and they are generous with their sauces. They are my primary experience with Zaxby's and my opinion has been very favorable. It's also notable that there's no way that the Cedar City location is pulling in the numbers that this location is on a very busy road so it stands to reason that this location is pulling in more sales by customer volume. I understand that they're competing with a new Bojangles a mile or two up the same street, as well as all the other spots here like Popeye's, Church's Dave's Hot, Good Ol' Chicken, etc. I realize that's a lot of competition but when I drive past, their parking lot doesn't appear to be empty so I assume they're getting folks in the door. You know how you get loyal customers? Don't abuse their trust by charging significantly more for your offering than other locations of your own restaurant. You may get that over on the new people who've never eaten there but you are going to incur some wrath from those of us who are familiar with you. My wife and I usually get a 20 strip basket and share it. That order at this location was a full $10 more than it is in Cedar City. Making matters worse, they only give you 4 sauces to eat 20 strips with. 4 sauces ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That would probably work with 20 nuggets but no way it works with 20 strips. So I'm supposed to go into this overpaying by $10 knowing I'm gonna have to buy more sauce about 11 strips in? I'll pay higher at places like Good ol' Chicken that have bigger strips that are more of a premium quality but I know what I'm getting at Zaxby's and I know how much it should cost. Maybe if you were the only strips in town but there are just so many other great options. Church's and Popeye's are cheaper and almost always have coupons. Farm Basket is right up the street as well. Dave's Hot chicken strips are massive. I'll never be back but maybe you should avoid pissing off the next guy. Next time I'm in Cedar City enjoying some strips, I'll tell them about this so they can use this location as a cautionary tale read more

I hate all the reviews hating on the size of the tenders. I mean if you just want tenders go to Canes. Maybe it's just a southern thing but I've been desperately waiting for Zaxbys to be out here I love it. The service is always great and quick - i've not had a long wait time. If you order the wings and things you get what you pay for (ask for extra saucy wings). I don't really mind the size of the tenders because i'm getting wings, fries and toast too. No it's not Cane's toast but it's buttery white toast - what are you expecting? Don't like season salt on your fries? then ask for it not in there.
