I was dragged to this place for the last time. Service was awful, the same server I had last time. A few pointers to the server. Quote a realistic time for when the food will be out. Don't say 15 minutes if it will be a half hour. When asked how long for the pizza once it is already 5 minutes late, don't roll your eyes and give attitude. Once it is late think about comping the order and find out why the food is not at my table yet. Instead I saw her disappear behind the bar and head in to some side room for 110 seconds, probably to text. The only good thing about the server was the pants she was wearing. The pie was doughy, the sauce was decent, the toppings were not cooked all the way. Many other things to criticize about this place, but i won't bother. My last post about this place was deleted from yelp for reason's unbeknownst to me. Maybe it had something to do with my criticism of the server's attire. read more

Food? Amaze balls! Service? Outstanding! Atmosphere? Welcoming and comfortable. All in all, this place is great. My boyfriend works as a delivery driver there, so I go there and eat a lot haha. Small local chain, good service and variety of pizzas. Music could be quieter when there are few customers. Especially fond of Woodbutcher and Cherrybomb pizzas but there are many others and of course build-your-own topping selections. I haven't actually taken much notice of the beverage selections. read more

I wanted to update my previous review because we have returned several times since I last posted. Our food has been consistently good, no issues with anything being overcooked. I really appreciate them listening to feedback and think that says a lot about a company. Zeek's is definitely a favorite of my kids and we will be back. read more

I have never waited so long for an order! The restaurant was mostly empty as it was the pre-dinner hour. It took the server at the counter a looooong time to even acknowledge me much less take my order. I guess the flirty conversation with someone who'd already been helped was more important. Okay, no big deal. Love can be blind. Finally put in my to-go order was told would take 20 minutes. At the 20 minute mark, nothing. 25 mins, nothing. 30 minutes nothing. At 35 minutes, they said "Oops, sorry the cook didn't know they needed to make a pizza It'll be just a few minutes more." 10 more minutes I check and they say, "Just five more minutes. Another 10 minutes later, I hear "Just one more minute!" I got my order in 10 more minutes. No apologies, no nothing. Pizza's were not warm and were undercooked. I have a lot of pizza experience in my younger days and I could have made that pizza better, hotter, faster, friendlier, and still had time for a significant nap! A GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT. In West Seattle, tonight paid $32 for the delivery of a large pizza (incl. $4 tip). Such a shame. I read that ZEEKS branches can be franchises. Perhaps the West Seattle branch is one. No doubt the ZEEKS founders did far better when they were starting out, years ago, but tonight this product was embarrassingly mediocre in every regard. We ended up getting cheese and olives and other toppings out the fridge to make it better. Won't call them again. I feel sad about it: the menu made it all sound top-notch! read more

Our baseball team of 7 families walked in to restaurant last night about 8:30pm. It was't crowded.. maybe 5 tables. We placed orders right away, but took 30 mins for drinks delivered and another 20min for food. Servers were really trying to get caught up. I had always wanted to try this place out so I came here with my boyfriend. The pizza was okay, not the greatest. The environment was not too noisy, so that deserves a three stars but other than that you won't get a great review from me only because I couldn't really enjoy my pizza. I live within walking distance of the West Seattle Zeek's and so badly want to love this place. I think their pizza is pretty good - consistently 3.5-4 star - but after my experience last night I'm leaving a 3 star review. The service just didn't cut it. For days we (wife, mom, 3 toddlers and me) had been looking forward to a fun mother's day pizza fest at Zeek's and arrived early, around 5, to ensure we got a decent seat. I think we were the 3rd party there. We were seated by our hostess/waitress who didn't look thrilled to be there. When we asked if we could use a booster for our 3-year old, she pointed across the room and said "they're over there". So be it. I can accept unhelpful service so long as everything else works out. My mom and I got our beers promptly, but my wife's wine took almost 10 minutes. Our server was too young to pour wine and I guess the 21+ crew was too busy serving the other 2 parties. Next came our salad. So-so. Breadsticks took another 10 minutes. Then, after having been there for about 40 minutes, they came by to tell us our pizza would be another 10 minutes. By that time the restaurant was filling up but we had placed our order within minutes of being there. It simply shouldn't take an hour to be served pizza. Had it just been my wife and I, we would have been slightly annoyed but would have stayed to eat the pizza there. Instead, we had to take our food to go as the 3 little ones were starting to get a bit impatient. I saw other families taking their pizzas to go as well. The kitchen at this place needs to figure it out. I will say the pizzas they made for us last night were excellent but I think I'll try Proletariat in White Center next time. read more

I was excited to see Zeek's open right down the street from us. We were greeted immediately when we came in and a table by the window wiped down for us. Our waitress was friendly and efficient, and I was happy to get a real local draught beer. There's an extensive selection of pizzas, and some are quite creative. I took off one star for price. In this location, with minimalist industrial warehouse decor and fairly standard pie toppings, there's no good reason to charge so much for a pizza. We were offered refills, and the waitress did check in on us. The place was filled with families with kids, so she was busy. We shared a chop salad, which was better than average, but mostly lettuce. The other star I took off was for the doughy pizza itself. It was really tasty, with fresh chopped basil and definitely not bland, but there wasn't much cheese and the crust was too thick and chewey. For a place that specializes in pizza, with state-of-the-art cooking facilities, this is cooked like a national chain pizza that costs 1/2 the price. Kudos on the beer again and decent service, but I really hope Zeeks can create a thinner crust gourmet pie that's worth the price they charge. read more

What the heck? I can't believe this place only has 3 stars on Yelp. How weird. I've been to and have ordered take out from Kirkland, Ballard, and West Seattle over they years and have always been pleased with the food. I actually went in to the West Seattle location this week for dinner. I was starved after a long shift! Usually when you go somewhere to eat by yourself service sucks. But not this time :) My waiter was very friendly and professional - came back to check on me enough - but not too much to interrupt my reading. He made wine suggestions offered a take out box when I couldn't finish what I ordered. I ordered a small an am still eating the leftovers 3 days later. And it's delicious. Not greasy at all, crust is awsome, toppings plentiful and fresh. My favorite is the Chicken Bacon that has ranch. Super delicious :) read more

Amazing! It's a little on the pricy side, but well worth it. Then again, I built my own. That could be why it was expensive. I got a pesto base with salami, sliced tomatoes and goat cheese! The crust as cooked perfectly, there was ample tomatoes and goat cheese. Let's just say there was a party in my mouth :). Needless to say, I will be ordering from them again! read more

Zeeks doesnt taste as homemade as it used to. Tastes as if the crust is not so flakey but instead more pizza hut in flavor and consistency... i was sad the veggie pizza sucked and was icky and soggy... somehow my crust was thick and thin in different places... dont they like twirl it or whatever to prevent that? Anyways the menu isnt competitive and neither is flavor... id order from Romios and load up on their cheesy garlic bread and vegetarian pizzas... they are hardly comparable read more

The cheese pizza "kid style" is soooooo delicious. I always order it for my two ladies and find that I end up wanting to eat the whole pizza. The Puget Pounder is always a hit. Zeek's ingredients are always high quality and they don't skimp out. You get what you pay for. read more

My wife and I had a date night here last night. What a great a place to have a date night! This was are first time at Zeeks pizza and we are sure to come back. They had great pizza choices and some looked very different than the average pepperoni pizza. We got the Yeti with white sauce and it was delicious. Our waitress was great and top of making sure our drinks were filled when we need it. She was also very polite. read more

We go to Zeeks in West Seattle once or twice a month. It has a nice atmosphere, good service and is kid friendly. The pizza takes a little too long to come out, but the toppings are fresh and delicious. It's too expensive for us to enjoy more regularly, but that's what happens when commercial rents grow to unreasonable levels. read more

The service wasn't really that awesome, the waitress forgot our breadsticks and it took quite a while to get our food. The pizza and breadsticks were awesome once we finally got them though. 6/10 not impressed they should hire more waitresses or have a monkey bus tables or something. read more

Buyer Beware!!! Just had our first experience with Zeeks. Took the family in and ordered a couple pies. When they arrived to our table it was not what we ordered. We asked about it and the wait person was less than responsible. We just kept what they brought us. "way over priced thats for sure, drinks and all. honestly I have had better pizza from Papa Murphys.... To top off the marginal quality of service and food. I just got a call from my credit card company stating my card was used to make "3" fifty dollar purchases at straight talk airtime (Zeeks is the only place that card had been used in the last 6 weeks) so either the employees are dishonest or they have a security problem?? My gut says its the employees based on how the delivery of the wrong pizza was handled. Either way I will not be taking my family back to any of their locations. read more
