A little late with this one but better late than never! I visited Zeppelin Hall with a group for a friend's bday right before Christmas. Our group had a great time! We ordered a bunch of food to share - mozzarella sticks, jalapeño peppers, chicken fingers and more. The food was like typical fried bar food but the pretzel was good. Kept it simple with drinks and just stuck to draft beer. I've lived in New Jersey for about 10years now and always heard good things about Zeppelin Hall but I've never been. I was surprised by how big it was and loved the holiday decorations. I definitely want to come back in the summertime and sit outside!

ALWAYS an amazing fun place to go !!! Haven't been there for at least 4 years , stopped by on Saturday and the atmosphere was exactly the same as the old days . Crowd is awesome , live entertainment and not to mention the bar staff is top notch. If you want a great bar atmosphere this is definitely a place for you :) check it out !! We LOVE Zeppelinhall :)

JERSEY CITY: Zeppelin Hall Biergarten & Restaurant is a lively beer garden bursting with festive energy, delicious food, an impressive drink selection, and best of all, it is dog friendly in not one, but two areas! Leashed, well-behaved pups are welcome through the main entrance and can hang out in the second indoor room or enjoy the spacious outdoor beer garden. The menu is packed with European and American favorites like soft pretzels, bratwurst sandwiches, BBQ, pizza, and even vegan options. The beer list is extensive, and there is a full bar for cocktails and non-alcoholic choices too. We were impressed by the full liter pours, they are huge! You can also opt for a beer flight if you are in the mood to sample. The vibe is classic beer hall with festive touches and when we visited, it was Oktoberfest flair meets Halloween fun. On nice days, the outdoor space fills up fast, and it is easy to see why. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere made our visit a blast.

Great casual biergarten! Went on a Saturday night and we didn't have any issues with parking and finding a table! Super easy to order food & drinks! They also had a live band! Highly recommend the dry rub wings & the sausage sampler.

I had been wanting to come here with my gf for a while now and recently we got the chance to stop in one night after enjoying some beers at a brewery that was close by. As we approached it I had high expectations for this place as the area was great and the exterior was cool, but that soon changed. We walked in and I thought this is my kind of place. Btw, The place was pretty empty. I think there was maybe 10-12 people there including the patrons in the back. I sensed the vibe was off right away and douchey to say the least which put me off considering neither bartender working acknowledged us when we walked in or when we walked up to the bar to get drinks. The blonde haired girl was on her phone and the brown haired guy was too busy talking to a couple wannabe Wall Street types. We actually had to say, Can we get a couple beers to the girl on her phone because the other guy bartender was way too busy with his conversation. I mean you can't say, Hello, Welcome, Give me a second? SMH! We ordered an IPA and a sour which we've both had before. The beer selection wasn't great like I expected. We also wanted to order food but they told us that they had stopped serving right before we got there. What's the point of staying open late if you don't have appetizers at the least to serve your patrons!? Not acceptable! It is a cool place in general, but that doesn't matter if your service sucks and this place definitely sucks! Will we be back or will I recommend this to any of my friends. Nope! The one star is because architecturally it's very cool. Not recommended!

I ordered their pork schnitzel! It comes w/ potato salad and cucumber salad as well , the pork schnitzel was a bit dry . So I add there hot and spicy vinegar to eat ! They. Have a self serving station. So it's ok to leave your plate when you're done . The have bbq sauce and Carolina sauce to add on . The menu is soooo big here next time I order their bratwurst.

Our group always hosts event here for our German organization. While we obviously are grateful for the partnership and relationship built over the years, we've always looked past some of their flaws. Their outside beer taps always taste different than inside. I don't know if it's cleanliness, if it's flat, or what exactly it is. Would recommend an indoor bar or a canned or bottled drink instead. Also, we always come around 12PM, and their bathrooms are always overflowing, dirty, lacking toilet paper, etc. The ambiance is nice and the food is great, but our group is sad to have off-tasting beer and dirty restrooms when we visit. The pink hue in the ladies restroom upstairs is off putting at best. We always share feedback directly in addition to my review today, but wanted to share our true experience as we visit 4+ times annually.

Huge beautiful beer hall. It's family friendly, good for parties, and has clean bathrooms. I ordered the molden lava chocolate chip cookie and it was fresh baked. Pierogies were just okay. Potato salad rocked. Bartenders and servers are all friendly. We'll be back :)

This place has a nice selection of beers from Germany, Belgium, and the area. It has that German biergarten vibe and has plenty of seats. I didn't have a chance to try the food but maybe I'll give it a try next time. Looks to be a fun place.

Pleasantly surprised by this place today. The food was better than I thought it would be and the prices were less than assumed. Great outside area with huge tables. Inside was just as big. You order drinks from one bar and food from another. They give you a pager that's vibrates when your food is ready. Great place to meet a group of people since you don't have to split tabs. Great spot for brunch. Our mimosas were big and tasty. The kids meal cheeseburger and fries for $8 was a great deal and delicious. The chicken & Waffles $16 was a huge portion and also delicious. Overall a great spot that we will be back to.

Food (4/5): Solid food and I enjoyed the burger and fries. I got the Hidenburger and while good it was a bit salty. Besides that overall solid and I liked the combination of sausage in a burger. The fries were crispy and nice. We also got the Jalapeno poppers which were well made too. The others got pierogi and the sausage platter which were also good. Service (4/5): No issues with the service and the waiter and the counter was patient as we looked through the menu. You basically order at a counter and then pick up the food. Ambiance (5/5): Very large biergarten with tons of sports playing on TV. There's board games hosted here and overall a lively vibe. Can be a bit loud depending on the groups.

I've been wanting to come here for a bit and was glad to get the chance. The menu isn't quite accurate. It said 3 giant pretzels but only comes with one. The pretzel was hot and soft. It came with 3 dips. No complaints there. The arancini were amazing. Super hot and yummy. Again the menu wasn't accurate. Didn't mention Parmesan on top. They were a bit greasy. I would definitely get both again. The place was huge as were the bathrooms. There are no waiters so you do everything yourself.

We opted for the Restaurant Week menu - what a deal! $45 for 3 courses. We both started with the Schilling salad which was delicious! I could eat it every day. For our entrees, we both opted for the Wiener Schnitzel (pork), which came with one of my favorite things of the evening: this incredible dill cucumber salad! The schnitzel was excellent (although a huge portion!) It also came with lingonberry jam and potato salad! Finally, we both tried the chocolate dessert as well as the apple strudel and while both were great, the strudel truly stole the show! We also tried a glass of dry white Austrian wine which was lovely! Looking forward to coming back to Schilling for lunch or dinner again.

I did not take pictures of what I got here, largely since none of the food is memorable. Not bad,…read morejust not memorable. The pretzel here is tasty, but small. I really wanted to like this pretzel but it is hard to justify $7 for a pretzel I ate in less than two minutes. I get it. This is the kind of pretzel they serve in Germany and Austria, but this had so much of a Manhattan undercurrent that I had to keep thinking in my head why I had to justify the indulgence. This restaurant also serves the Austrian version of a chicken noodle soup. It is kinda bland, and mostly broth. The noodles are nice and soft, and the vegetables bring a mellow texture to the soup, but this is a hard buy in. Now onto the entrees: The Krainerwurst is a smoky and tasty sausage but it is also small, and it is just one link. I really enjoyed the Quark Dumplings, almost like Austria's answer to gnocchi. This is tasty and pillowy. Super delicious. Of course, I got a Wiener Schnitzel to round out the meal. It is puffy and the breading is an easy coating; they also use pork instead of veal, but beggars cannot be choosers. The sides worked well as they helped make the plate less naked. -- There was one dish I was hoping to try, but unfortunately due to my foolishness and a little confusion, I did not order it. That is the Emmental Sausage, a sausage encased in cheese but has enormous flavor. It is very popular in Austria, and it is also known as the Kasekreiner. I guess it was not meant to be. That is okay. I also want to point out the pretty Austrian server I had who made my experience more than just about the food. I never got her name, but she was special to talk to and share my travel experiences with. In the end, I am happy I got to experience this restaurant, but small portions and high prices undo what could have been a real special, memorable treat, pictures or no pictures.

So naturally, had to check it out again this time and try it again. I don't know what it is, but well seasoned meat with their crispy fries just works. The original German doner kebab with the mixed beef and chicken was incredible. It was juicy, perfectly seasoned meat with that signature vertical spit char, loaded into their soft, flavorful handmade waffle-style bread. Every bite was a hit. Also ordered the chicken doner box with fries. The fries were very crispy and seasoned well and the chicken was just as I remembered it. A flavor bonanza. Rich, aromatic, and very delicious What was really the highlight was the sauces though. The garlic sauce was creamy and addictive, and the spicy one had just the right kick without overpowering everything. Portions are solid for the price. Everything felt fresh and hot, and the staff was super friendly and quick even during a busy mall rush. If you're at the American Dream or craving quality halal doner, this is the move. Way better than your average kebab spot. This is premium. Will definitely be back for the crispy doner rolls and maybe the Doner Burger next time.

I had a group dinner here for my parents and my boyfriend's mother to meet for the first time. This is perhaps not the perfect location for this type of thing, as it was extremely loud in the restaurant. I ordered the goulash and kasespaetzle. The goulash was rich, well seasoned and filling. The spaetzle was soft and creamy, covered in lots of flavorful aged cheese with salty bacon bits and sweet onion. A very rich dish.
