Zero& deserves all the five stars in the world. When my friends and I walked in, we were mesmerized by the menu claiming the "2 whole mangoes" and "half pound lychee" they put in their drinks. No joke, we ended up ordering almost every single drink on the menu and not a single one disappointed. My favorites were the baby peach and coco mango drinks, but every beverage was refreshing, full of vibrant flavors, and presented very aesthetically! Also shout out to the very nice and patient workers that tended to my group that day. Little PSA: there's a reward system through their app that gives you a free drink once you sign up!

Stumbled across this Zero& location while doing some shopping with the wife on Fillmore. There are limited seating both inside and outside the premise, and the interior is very clean and inviting. The barista was very friendly, and we wound up ordering a Pink Guava Oasis and a Coco Mango. Both drinks were delicious, but the Coco Mango surprised us because it was actually a slushy. The boba quality was perfectly soft and chewy, and the fruits used in the drink were clearly fresh fruits, rather than syrup or powders. There's an offer at present for first time users of their app to get a free drink. So make sure to take advantage of that if you are not already a member (toppings are extra). The app also has a reward system for orders placed through the app. And make sure to scratch the scratcher on the side of your drink for extra rewards (free points, dollars off next purchase, etc..). Drinks were all very reasonably priced, and a great value for what you're getting!

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile now. I came on a Saturday and the store was pretty busy. I was curious about their zero sugar thing. I found out that it costs extra for the zero calorie sweetener. I didn't care about that so I got regular sugar. The drink I got was the sesame one. I liked it but it was too thick for me at the time. It felt like drinking a whole meal and it was too filling haha. I enjoys my drink tho. I really want to come back for the fruit drinks. They look even more amazing and refreshing.

Food 4/5 Service 4/5 Ambiance 4/5 I remember they have the kiosk so you can order by yourself, there's also just standard service, no too good not too bad. I order 2 drinks, one is the coconut juice combine with coconut milk, the color is nice but the taste was weir in my feeling. The other one is grapefruit tea is really good, you have to try it!

Zero& is 100% a part of my Top 5 favorite Boba spots in the Bay Area and favorite boba spot in SF. Favorite order: Matcha Tornado and Pandan Croissant I love the quality of the drinks and toppings at Zero&. Great quality teas, toppings, fruits, matcha, etc. The menu has a great variety, whether under Milk Tea's, Fruit Tea's, Slushies, Crema drinks, etc. When it comes to toppings, you definitely have options to choose from. I love that Zero& also has pastries and desserts for quick bites. Parking is not the best. I did wish the Zero& locations were not solely in the busy areas of SF where parking can be a pain and expensive. Thankfully I lucked out on parking my very first time here. However, I can definitely imagine it being a struggle as there is a lot of bus/car traction around this Fillmore location. The ambiance is cute. Very minimalistic, and simple, and a lot of great lighting due to the white-colored interior. Service is quick and straightforward. There are 2 kiosks to put in self-orders. The staff are friendly when serving your drinks.

It's great to have a Zero& in the city! Love this place. Taro/Ube - 4 stars Authentic, and I could taste the chunks! Definitely not made from powder. Mango - 4.5 stars Also made from authentic fruit, and incredibly refreshing.

ZERO& is one of my favorite bobas of all time. The freshness of the fruit just make it SO good. I've been here twice, with varying wait times. I went when it was packed and waited like 20 minutes, and then another time I went on a weekday, and I got served in minutes. The inside isn't really meant to be sat in tbh, but it's a boba place. Overall, I love this place and I'm definitely coming back, especially for that coconut zero again :)

ZERO& offers a variety of unique drinks, from smoothies and juices to bubble teas. I ordered their #1 recommended coconut drink. This drink contains a whole coconut inside! I got it less sweetened and I think the sweetness was perfect. It was coconutty with little chunks of coconut meat and even came in a coconut! The staff was super friendly. Would order from here again. Tip: if you download the app you can get your first drink for free!

The matcha tornado here was so delicious here that the second time we ordered, my sister switched from the pink guava oasis to the matcha tornado. Both drinks were really refreshing, but the nice Oreo crumbles in the matcha tornado really brought the drink together.

Interesting boba shop and unqiue offerings. They have Zero sugar option as well as regular sugar. Service was fast and ordering was super simple at kiosk. Ordered the peach drink and it was very distinctly peachy. It almost tasted like the texture of a real peach so I hope it had real fruit in it. Not too sweet which I like but the flavor overall was somewhat muted. Boba, was not that good and was mushy.

Had visitors from out of town and they wanted boba so we went to Zero& early at around noon on Saturday, 8/3. There was no one in the front but I could see someone in the back, presumably prepping for the day. While perusing the menu, another person entered the restaurant, maybe just a little late for work; who knows. We noticed the menu stated they were sold out of quite a few items, so we rang the bell to double check that they were indeed sold out (odd considering they had openly been open a couple of hours). After ringing the bell and waiting for about 5 minutes, someone emerged from the back and very casually and unapologetically said "Yeah, we're out of a lot of stuff." Very odd and poor experience.

Wow, Fillmore street really needed this boba place! It's so good. Loved that I could get a warm boba on a cold summer day (San Francisco summers, amiright?). I liked the warm better than the cold creme brûlée but both were delicious. The guava was also really good but had florally taste that wasn't my personal favorite! A friend and I shared the garlic knot and it was SOO good! A little sweet and very garlicky. So glad this location opened. Will be back to try more drinks!

    Mango Sunshine Mini Box
    Troy B.

I've been seeing Zero& on social media, and I knew their Hanabi Cakes were something I wanted to try. So my friend and I decided to stop by for dessert. I like that you can order everything on a kiosk because of the efficiency. We got the Mango Sunshine Mini Box. To be honest, it was a lot smaller than I was expecting, but overall, the cake was delicious. It tastes like one of those iconic Asian cream cakes. Light, fluffy and fruity. The prices are a bit steep for these, but for the cute experience of eating a cake in a box, it might be worth it.

I'm always hunting for spots like this because I have a weakness for those over-the-top, Instagram-worthy desserts that look like diabetes in a dish. Like most places in this genre, A Buttercup is small, modern, and minimalist with limited seating. If you plan to go, aim for off-hours unless you enjoy waiting in line for sugar. The decor is cute and trendy, perfect for photos if that's part of your dessert ritual. As they say, "you eat with your eyes first," and when it comes to presentation, this place definitely gets an A+. The desserts look stunning and set high expectations. Unfortunately, that's where things started to crumble. It's like going to see your favorite artist live. You've watched the videos, memorized the songs, and paid for the experience. But instead of the electric performance you imagined, you get someone lip-syncing and barely connecting with the crowd. That was this place in dessert form. We ordered the Mango Bingsoo on our first visit, and when it arrived, we were surprised by how small the portion was. The guy next to us even looked over and said, "Whatever that is, I'm getting that next time." He shouldn't have. The Bingsoo looked great but was bland, and the "snow" was more chunky ice than soft shave. The Thai Tea Roti was also not what I expected. It came with Thai tea ice cream and sauce alongside a roti that was fried to a crunch. Interesting idea, just not the best execution. The sauce and ice cream needed a stronger Thai tea flavor to balance the crispy roti, and the flavors never quite came together. Overall, A Buttercup nails the aesthetics but misses the flavor. If you're here for the photos, you'll be happy. If you're here for the taste, you'll leave with a full camera roll and an unsatisfied sweet tooth.

I appreciate that the cookie itself wasn't overly sweet. The lychee black tea was INCREDIBLE, strong, strong tea and fruit flavor, perfectly creamy, and not too sweet. The more memorable of the two, however, was definitely Auntie Kendra. It was a vanilla base with salty plum juice, passion fruit, and preserved lemon peel. The delicate vanilla, the lemon aroma without the sour tang, the floral, exotic passion fruit, and the unexpected punch of salt and earthiness from the plum juice, this is a WHOPPER of a flavor. Every bite allowed me a new appreciation of the layers of flavors in this scoop. While a bit pricy, Garden creamery is on par with the other local ice cream spots in SF and well, the flavors and my enjoyment of them speak for themselves. I will definitely be making more trips out here to try their other flavors!

Kiss of Matcha is a dessert café centered around matcha-based drinks and Japanese-inspired sweets…read more We walked into a cozy, compact space with a focus on matcha flavors, offering everything from soft serve and parfaits to lattes, hojicha drinks, and small desserts. The concept works well for anyone looking for a place that treats matcha as the main ingredient rather than just adding it as a trendy flavor, and the energy of the shop stays calm and inviting, making it a good spot for a focused dessert stop. The biggest highlight is the matcha soft serve, which has a stronger tea flavor compared to many sweeter matcha desserts. We ordered a cup and found the flavor leaning slightly earthy and bitter, giving it a more authentic matcha profile while still staying creamy and approachable. The Kiss of Matcha Parfait is another standout, combining different textures with matcha, toppings, and dessert elements that make it feel more complete than a simple scoop. The layers of the parfait were well composed, with the matcha soft serve, mochi, and crunchy elements coming together in a way that kept each bite interesting. The hojicha options are also worth trying if you prefer a roasted tea flavor that is smoother and less intense, and the hojicha soft serve offered a warm, toasted note that contrasted nicely with the brighter matcha. The menu has a nice mix of drinks and desserts, with items like croffles, mochi, and dango adding more variety beyond the usual matcha latte. The croffle is a good pairing with the drinks since the crisp texture works well with the richer flavors, and we found it held up well against the cream and toppings. There are also non-matcha options like vanilla soft serve, which makes it easier to visit with a group where everyone has different preferences, and the variety across the menu gives you room to explore beyond the matcha offerings. The space is smaller, so it feels more like a quick dessert stop rather than a place to spend hours. Seating is limited, but the cozy decoration and outdoor seating options make it a comfortable spot to enjoy your order when space is available. The indoor area is thoughtfully arranged, and the outdoor seating adds a nice option for warmer days. Service can vary depending on how busy it gets, but the overall experience is centered more around the quality of the desserts, and the staff are friendly and efficient when handling the flow of orders. Kiss of Matcha is a strong choice for matcha lovers looking for desserts with a deeper tea flavor. The combination of quality matcha, creative dessert options, and a cozy atmosphere makes it a spot worth returning to, especially if you enjoy trying different matcha creations. The balance of authentic flavors, thoughtful presentation, and a relaxed environment makes it a destination for a more intentional matcha experience.

My friend got the other preset option, Cereal Killer, which tasted just like fruity pebbles ice cream as promised. It looks like a lot when first presented to you (like so high and so fluffy), but as you eat it, the toppings start making the ice sink lol. A more manageable portion size after that :) Their shop is small with not much waiting room besides a bench against the window, and I think most people go to their outside tables to eat their shaved ice. Not super ideal for cold windy evenings like when we went, and we huddled in my car to finish them. Definitely mind any shaved ice that might topple over the edge when you first dive in since they pack it real tight. Worth your moola! I will absolutely come back to try other flavors and still order a regular just for myself :)
