Zero Lounge is a super cute spot right off the main drag of Hollywood Boulevard with cool retro vibes. I was there for a Pitch A Friend dating event and it was SO fun! good vibes, good people, good laughs all around. I'm a Millennial so loved feeling like I stepped back into my youth~! All My Life from K-Ci and Jojo came on, Mo Money, Mo Problems and the music was very of my era. I was singing along bopping in my bar seat. It's decorated with all the coolest nostalgia stuff from bright colors, fun designs and movie posters from the late 90s and 00s with Zero Lounge branding - such a cute idea. The drinks all followed with the themeing with adorable names and themes. They aren't just a kitschy type of thing though, the drinks were all delicious. They had a pretty good selection of NA drinks for my fellow Cali Sober peoples. My friend and I tried 4 from the menu and were surprised at how great they all were! I even had one with cute designs in the egg white foam on top. Seriously so many great ideas at Zero Lounge happening! One critique or area for improvement -they only have 1 bartender for the first few hours they were open. People were waiting over 30 minutes to order drinks and some gave up. I know we personally would have ordered more had the turnaround time been faster. Customers were getting frustrated, but everyone was very understanding to the bartender that it was not their fault, however they are hurting both their own bottom line of moneys and the customer's experience by having just 1 bartender working during events. Maybe on non-event days they only need 1, but their drinks are multi-ingredient, fancy & fun cocktails, so especially when an event is packing the space - have more than 1 bartender! Overall, really liked the vibe of this place and hope they hire more staff! I will definitely be back for more fun events - they do karaoke, too! read more

Love the y2k theme here! The atmosphere of the bar / lounge is really cool, you can definitely feel the care the owners have put into creating the theme. Comfy seating, and overall the place feels new and clean. The drinks selection is very fun too, carrying on that y2k theme. Loved all the ones we tried but the mean girl, pbj, and fruit roll ups were my fave! A little dangerous because they taste so good haha. I came across a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle night at the Zero Lounge on IG, and it caught my attention so much that I decided to go. There was a $15 per person cover charge, which included two free drinks and free pizza. The vibe was awesome, very nostalgic, and it brought back memories from when I was a kid. The drinks were reasonably priced, and of course, the movie was great. I liked that they made the movie very interactive like, we drank when a certain word was said, and people could leave funny comments or GIFs that would pop up on the screen. It had a custom foam print on it and I saw that it was done but it took 5 minutes just to get it because the bartender was too busy taking another order. I attended a Gui Fieri look-alike contest at Zero Lounge and was in flavortown all night! The venue is a curated Y2K themed gem in Hollywood just down the street from other venerated cultural institutions like the Funko Museum. There is space for dancing, there is space for lounging; the unique charm and theme can't be found anywhere else. You can carry a conversation without Naruto running to the smoking lounge, and you don't have to use your cosplay's megaphone to order from the very kind bar staff. A secure and walkable parking lot just a block away, friendly security, a genuinely nice manager who genuinely supports the DJs and performers, an N64 controlled easter egg video game, affordable pizza down the block, it's pretty much the hangout spot in Hackers - and I'm going to start a rumor right here that Angelina Jolie was spotted hanging out last weekend. The Fieri themed event was a blast (literal fire), and the creative energy in the room was contagious. Zero Lounge is always partnering with super talented creatives, and I could tell that a lot of care and thought went into crafting an experience that celebrates fun, originality, and community. I'm already looking forward to my next chance to log-in! Overall, I'd rate my experience a solid 1999/2000 stars (see what I did there ;). Zero Lounge is an incredible hidden gem in Los Angeles that you don't want to pass up. The ambience is fun, relaxing, and the energy picks up and gets intense on the dancefloor without ever feeling overwhelming. I came to Zero Lounge and was immediately greeted by an incredibly charismatic doorman before I stepped in to an arcade retrostyle tunnel with neon lighting. The venue has amazing drinks themed with millenial taste, and very high quality ingredients. My friend Mark who doesn't drink ordered a grapefruit mocktails and we watched the woman squeeze the grapefruit and garnish it with dried fruits. It was so awesome. There are also tomagotchi and smuckers drinks that come with small PB&Js affixed, and the tip jar was for rugrats v hey arnold. Hey Arnold for life as a new yorker. The venue has seating where I connected and danced with new friends and was able to speak personally for HOURS. I was able to go outside in a smoking area with privacy, return and enter no cover, and I ended up staying all night dancing to many incredible artists who SHREDDED nineties hits. every time i got fatigued, Kesha or Natasha Bedingfield or HOOBASTANK came on, i HAD to get up for HOOBASTANK WHAT?!?!? my father kicked me out of the car when i was twelve for telling him HoobaSTINKS! THIS IS IMPORTANT HISTORICAL REVERENCE IN THIS BAR!! i never dance til one am. I was completely sober. There is true dedicated community here, blended with tourists and newcomers, and I can tell the staff are committed to its value. I bet you even the yelp reviews are fake. The place is tiny, and the only thing that even remotely screamed Y2K was the DJ booth. There's no dance floor, just a few random couches that don't even give off a vibe-- even the walls are bare with no posters We drove over an hour to get there, all dressed up and ready for a fun night. We were super excited, but after five minutes of realizing how cramped and lame the place was, we just bailed and ended up barhopping instead. It was honestly the most underwhelming experience ever. I feel completely catfished. Zero Lounge might look cool in Instagram photos, but in person? Total miss. The theme has so much potential, but this was completely not it. read more

I came to Hollywood for a long weekend to see my friends, and they were so excited for opening night at Zero Lounge. I thought it was going to be just another bar, but WOW, was I wrong!!! The atmosphere inside the bar is amazingly cool, just beautiful. The specialty drinks were so delicious, and very reasonably priced! we arrived early-ish, and left at around midnight, and there was a line to get in. I could go on and on about how cool this place is, but I think it's one of those places that if you don't know much about it, you'll be happily surprise. ...oh, during the evening we left for about 20 minutes to get a slice of pizza a half a block away on Hollywood Blvd (since Zero Lounge doesn't serve food) and then walked back to the bar after we ate, so convenient!!! Went here 12/6 to celebrate my birthday and hang with friends. The bar tender, female with neck tats was the rudest bartender I have ever met. Not to mention drunk af behind the bar. My friend was wondering if they did birthday shots/drinks so he said to her "oh it's her birthday " and she goes "mine too." Then completely ignores us, cool - not everywhere does things like that, just usually don't get a side of attitude with their responses.. After that, my friend goes to order a drink, the lady with the neck tats then turns around and starts yelling at her saying "Why is your group ordering through my bar back? Really?? Wow. Wow. " then started to cuss at my friends. it was one person ordering from OUR GROUP and the other person who "ordered through her bar back" wasn't even there with us or apart of our group. Don't even know who she was. Other customers then started to talk to us and tell us she had been taking shots behind the bar and was being rude to everyone the whole night. Cool place, but not worth dealing with drunk, rude, nasty bar tender. Honestly, this business shouldn't keep someone like that if they want their customers to have a good time..
