I have been here a few times and finally have the time to write a review. Every single time that I've been here, I've had the chance to try something new and the food has been amazing every time. The service has been amazing as well, with the servers always being extremely accommodating and providing impeccable service. I love the ambiance and selection of music that they've had playing on the occasions that I have visited and eaten there. I would recommend the asada and the pastor mixed in either a burrito or a Tlacoyo (I think that's the spelling, lol). Their tacos or bowls are also delish. My fam and I were craving Mexican food and decided to give this place a try based on reviews and also proximity to the house. Everything we ordered was delicious! We tried their asada quesadilla, quesa taco with Al pastor, the bowl with asada and Al pastor, and tlacoyo with asada. The meats were juicy and flavorful, and they were generous with the ingredients. They have a decent indoor area with AC and a lovely outdoor area for the nice summer nights. Love how clean, spacious the restaurant is and how friendly the staff are. They have a pretty basic menu with quality ingredients, so if you want good steak you will get it here. The avocado salsa is also very good. The flavors could be enhanced a bit to appeal to more traditional taco spots, but they are solid none the less. Like at tacos trucks I never have to add salt, but here you could use a bit. They have a vegetarian option which is nice for when someone in your group is a vegetarian. A few bottled drinks and hot chapurado. You order outside at the grill. Let the cook know what you want then pay inside. If your lucky there is a place to sit. They have about 3 tables and a few stools. The tacos are topped with cilantro, onions, red salsa and guacamole sauce. If your not a meat eater they have tacos de papas and jack fruit tacos. Everything is grilled outside. Think street tacos at their finest. My 3 carne asada were yummy and filled with a generous portion of meat. The salsa and condiment bar was stocked and clean. The chapurado was a great finish to my meal. Warm and delicious on this cold night. Service from the entire staff is friendly. Don't forget your 25% off Yelp offer. This is a tiny spot on Valley between multiple industrial/warehouse buildings. They have done A LOT with the small space in the best way! * The menu is short & easy * I had an asada & Al pastor quesa tacos; y'all!!!!! There was no tortilla! The tortilla was literally the cheese * they have outdoor seating the front counter and the back area We were able to host a small viewing party for the LAFC game and they were such great hosts, with owners coming by and sharing space with us. I am a special education LAUSD teacher on strike. Zingo's tacos were a part of Tacos for Teachers and let me tell you... after a long day of marching in the rain, these tacos hit the spot! Al pastor, pollo, and carne asada. Very yummy. My favorite was the carne asada. They had a tortilla toasted on the side of the grill and I looooooooove crunchy corn tortillas. So I asked for it so they didn't throw it away right? Tacos are delicious! The servers are really kind and you can tell they put their heart into making the food. We ordered: mulitas (asada) and added beans to them, Al pastor tacos, carne asada tacos, tripa tacos. Highly recommend the tripa tacos (bien durado). They are humbly tucked away among body shops on Valley Blvd. For Covid, they have outdoor seating with a tv, pexiglass for the order window, and six feet social distancing in place.
