I used to use them all the time, we got a new car so i went in person and canceled, the manager was a straight ho asshole and refused to cancel my membership because i did not have the sticker on the new car(was left on the car when we sold it). After figuring it out he finally let me cancel. Now months later il looking on my AMEX statement and they have been charging me $35.00 a month for minimum 6 months. Thats not cool. My sister in law went in for a car wash not to get a membership just a wash, since she swiped her card there they auto applied a membership and have been charging monthly and refuse to cancel her membership that she never asked for. The only thing that would help this place is if they just left! Closed down! In case you're reading this, asshole from zips, AMEX is going to block your petty little charges. This place dented & scratched the roof of my car. Not only is there no manager on duty, they leave young people alone running the wash who literally have no power to help you. We were there for an hour after this ordeal. Left with an email address of someone in Dallas and told "there was no owner." I'm sure the only will emerge when the lawsuit is filed. Never once were told to fill out an "incident report." We watched the video footage with the kid that works there and recorded it on our phones so we have it. We also JUST came from KwikKar across the street so we got a time stamped photo of our cat with NO DAMAGE. Zips will not accept responsibility, even though on Nextdoor there are multiple issues and cars damaged here. They literally said "these don't malfunction they use sonar." Well, the giant dent in my roof would say your sonar is t working sir... There are literally 48 comments in my Nextdoor post from yesterday of people who's cars have been damaged here. We are filing a lawsuit Monday along with another person who had the exact same issue. This is not OK. Stay away. read more

I went through the car wash, and the attendant only pre-scrubbed one side of my vehicle. The car wash itself was filthy, and when we exited, only one side of the vacuums was open. I don't understand this process--maybe it's because they don't want to walk back and forth? With a big truck, you don't have enough room to maneuver in just one row, which doesn't make any sense to me. Additionally, all of the air compressors meant to blow out dust were not working on either side, and the towels provided were not clean. They all had some sort of film and residue on them, making me question whether they are being cleaned properly for reuse. To top it off, all the trash bins were full. Absolutely Ridiculous Billing and Poor Customer Service My experience with Zips Car Wash in 78737 started out fine -- until it turned into a total mess. I had an active unlimited wash subscription that somehow glitched in their system. Instead of fixing it, the on-site associate created a second account for the same car, which meant I was double-billed every month since August without realizing it. When I finally caught the mistake and contacted customer service, they admitted the error but only refunded a portion of the overcharges -- and to this day, they've refused to explain why. I've followed up multiple times with no real answers or accountability. On top of that, the wash quality declined significantly, and their vacuums rarely worked. I've since canceled my membership and switched to Club Car Wash down the road -- night and day difference. Their facility is clean, well-maintained, and everything actually works. I'll never return to Zips, and I'm still waiting on the rest of my refund. Absolutely disappointing. read more

Once upon a time I absolutely LOVED this car wash but now I just get angry that I keep wasting my time and money and now it's pretty obvious they aren't going to take the steps needed to get it running like it use to. They have not had anyone pre scrub brushing the cars at the entrance for months now (It seems that once they took away the tip box the employees gave up) my car leaves the wash still caked with bugs that I then try & scrape off with the "clean" but very wet rags they sometimes have stocked at the vacuuming stations for drying /detailing. The back of my Expedition keeps coming out dry and still covered in dirt. Also half the vacuums have little to no suction and some are starting to fall apart. I was really hoping that things would get better because I really loved coming here but now I have come to my senses and realize that it's time to break up. I am going to cancel my membership. :( read more

The young people who work here are always nice and professional, but the owner hasn't been repairing the various spinny contraptions that clean the car. We spent $24 on a car wash but 3 of the car wash components weren't working. So only one side of our car looks good and the windshield is still full of bug splatters. Hopefully it will get repaired soon because we bought a year-long membership for our other car. read more

Terrible company. when I first signed up for this car wash monthly payment program it was managed well, and the staff were helpful and friendly. in a couple years the wash has had several maintenance issues (nonfunctioning vacuums and components of the wash not workin). the dry cloths to dry the car with are damp to wet which makes it hard to dry the body of water. the staff has an nasty disposition where only sulky or snarly faces greet you. Too, the staff no longer uses the brush to loosen the grime and bug bits collected on the bumper, front grill, or sides. and where the staff were two working the brushes there's only one. last visit the kid gave me an ugly, you're a mother to me stare and didn't even attempt to brush the car before going into the wash. and one day that I know of, it was closed. the quality, service, value of this car wash has severely degraded. with only the location being quality it is not worth the membership cost. sadly, will be moving on to a new car wash up the road. perhaps the wash is going out of business. and yelp, please fix the auto caps when beginning a new sentence. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! If I could give ZERO stars, I would! This place is an absolute nightmare. I was one of only TWO cars at the car wash, and despite that, they somehow managed to slam another car right into the back of mine. Both of us were in neutral, and the machine forced her car forward so aggressively that it caused significant damage to my vehicle. And the worst part? The manager's disgusting attitude. When I calmly asked to review the footage to understand what happened, he outright told me, "No customer will ever see video evidence, get the F out of my building!" Excuse me?! That's how you handle a situation where YOUR equipment damages a customer's car?? This place is shady, unsafe, and run by people who clearly don't care about their customers. This place was closed the last three times I showed up to wash my car. The car wash itself isn't that great and I agree with others that is hard on the paint. They do have one kid at the entrance that will half heartedly spray one side of your car before your wash begins, but I would have to drive thru twice for a good clean. Even then, I will have to hand dry my vehicle later. The vacuums are nice. Bring your own towels because the ones provided smell of mold. Paid for the monthly plan and of course there isn't an easy way to cancel it- the app is convoluted and shows I don't have a plan, even though I have paid for months. Also, according to FOX news in Carolina, Zips have had over 1000 BBB complaints, before the deadly incident that occurred at the carwash due to their faulty equipment. The car wasn't particularly dirty when it went in, or particularly clean when it came out of the automated wash. I hate to say it, but most gas station washes I've used over the years do a better job cleaning and drying the car. They do keep all the microfiber towels you can use at the vacuum bays to finish drying the car - it took 5 to get the remaining water off a Mini Cooper. I finished washing the car using a spray solution set out. That's great, but it would be better if their automated car wash did the job. They do have great vacuum pressure and hand held air-gun for blowing out cracks and crevices that will let you get the interior as clean as you like. Bring your own cleaning products for the interior. I'd come back to use those features once and a while, but would not pay regularly just to use their wash. read more

Worst $10 I've ever spent. My car was overdue for a car wash, so I stopped here for a quick wash before going home. It was the first place that popped up in Google maps so I decided to try it out. Plus the outside of the place looked nice and clean, which I took for a good sign. So the only things that really needed cleaning was the bird poop on the right side of the hood and windshield so I opted for the basic wash (I won't go into the hassle I went through just trying to purchase the basic wash and the fact it didn't give me a receipt). After checking out I pulled up to the entrance of the car wash. There were about five teenage boys standing at the entrance, three of them had scrubbers in their hands. Yet not a single one scrubbed my car. As I entered the car wash, it appeared that only the left side of my car would be washed as the brushes were closer to that side. It didn't even look like the right side brushes reached my car. After exiting I noticed that the same spots covered in bird poop before going through were still there on both my windshield and the right side of my hood. As well as water spots and streaks all over. I also noticed a few new scratches on the driver side window which was a total bummer. Not sure what actually got washed but it didn't look any different than before I entered. Luckily it started raining about 30 minutes after I left and I was able to wipe all the gunk off the windshield with my wipers. For two dollars cheaper, I will be going to my local Palms Car Wash for an actual good job. There my car comes out sparkling and there's ALWAYS an attendant there to dry my car off so there's no streaks or spots. Don't bother coming here, your car won't look any different after. *Sidenote: The tip jar was at the entrance of the car wash. I had never seen a tip jar at a car wash at the beginning of it, only at the end. I guess they're hoping you'll tip before you see what a terrible job they do. The wash quality is just OK. But their customer service is horrible. I had signed up for unlimited monthly car washes, but am out of town frequently and couldn't justify the cost versus the number of times I was in town to use the car wash. I attempted to cancel the beginning of January. I sent an email and received a response saying they were sorry to see me go. The kicker is, they are still charging my credit card every month, and I have to submit a dispute with my credit card issuer every month. I've uploaded documentation to my credit card issuer, and they credit me back every month. But Zips keeps charging my card anyway. Pure Wash/Zips combo review. Since the ownership Transferred & no one told the customers. My husband and I both had monthly car wash memberships for years. Since each car is billed separately I was accustomed to seeing more than one charge on our credit card statements. When importing all of the past years charges into a new auditing software I discovered that October- April, there was a third charge. I contacted Pure Wash who informed me they sold the business in May to Zips. Over the next few weeks I attempted to explain this situation to the new owners who accepted no responsibility, neither did the prior owner of Pure Wash. Sadly I was in and out of the hospital from November - March and was not watching all the charges as closely as I should have. No one accepted any responsibility for charging me a third time for 7 months. Both car washes actually accused me of signing up the same car twice. Even going so far to state that their CC software had no way to malfunction like this, and clearly I must have done something wrong, even told me I signed my car up twice. With no explanation why the third charge magically vanished (perhaps when they realized they were committing fraud) in May. My American Express has a different theory & they are handling this now. Both owners offered no resolution, no real apologies. And I'm at a loss of nearly $175. They actually felt that offering me a marginal gift card with the stipulation that it could only be for a a friend who doesn't have a membership, nope. When a business fraudulently charges a credit card, you just give the money back. Even if it's an accident, you make it right. So, buyer beware. You DO NOT want to sign up for reoccurring charges with either of these companies. This is one of the worst customer experiences I've had. I'm sad that they are our only local option. I would never recommend this company. If something goes wrong, god forbid with your car. Or you are sick & get taken advantage of. Well, these two firms aren't owning any part of it. Back to back days: Day 1 both employees at the start line spend minutes pre-washing the back and front of vehicles while the line is out to HWY 290. To slow and embarrassing for such a thrift drive-thru business. Day 2 one truck is trying to use a coupon and it's not working. 7 mins later and two different employees trying to resolve issue, I had to back up (and thankfully both people behind me saw this). We all went down the next lane, which 10 cars had moved through while the coupon dude was still sitting at a closed gate!! Next the guy in lane 2 was having issues inserting his card into the machine, 3 mins later he gets it. Recommendation is during peak times you need a competent employee that that keep the line moving. Ps. Maybe an onsite manager to help run things through! Dripping Springs is a very busy place and should be addressed as such. read more

Go here and get a wash. Best place around outside of hand washing it yourself. They scrub the bugs off. The machines do a really good job and they actually keep the place clean and keep up with all the dirty and clean towels that need to be switched out. If you ever have questions or concerns the front office always has someone working and they have always talked with me. We have a monthly membership to Zip's and have been mostly satisfied with the service of their car wash. The staff are friendly. Some kids work a little harder at making sure all cars are scrubbed down front and back prior to being put through the tunnel. Sometimes they are short-staffed. Every now and again some of the automatic brushes are on strike or taking a nap. After you come through the tunnel, you have a choice to go on or pull into the vacuum area. It is a at-your-own pace vacuum. They also offer the use of their clean rags and cleaning solution to wipe down all the dust and wipe down your windows. For the most part, the vacuums have good suction and there is plenty of space between you and the next spot. They provide trash cans and also a little air to blow out some of the hard to reach areas. Overall happy with services offered. read more

My black RAV4 is washed almost every other day (apartment sprinklers and driving daily makes it dirty too often). I was in the area running a quick errand and decided to stop by and give them a try. Cost was competitive to what I normally pay and the checkout process was quick and frustration free. The gate arm went up once my payment cleared and I drove through. When entering the wash-bay, two workers pre-washed and scrubbed down the front and back of my vehicle. Then in neutral, my wheel caught the conveying-track and away I went. Like a slow moving kiddie amusement park ride, my little Toyota swam through high pressure sprays and suds galore. Their spot free rinse really was spot free for once and I was VERY, VERY, VERY impressed with the drying feature at the end. I left the wash area and pulled to a vacuum bay, which is included in your wash, and sucked out all the dirt and leaves from my floorboards. Was surprised to see and want to issue extra kudos for, the available microfiber towels and window cleaner provided. I live about 15 minutes away from this location, but think the drive is well worth the clean. And I noticed they offer monthly packages too, which as a Lyft driver and frequent "washer", I find very convenient and money conscious.
