Came here about a week ago when a friend told Me about this place and tried their "Gyro Taco" man. I must say, I've never tried one and instantly got hooked on. Definitely a great place to try! I went to Goodmens hardware with my boyfriend and when we pulled into the parking lot we saw the "Happy Gyros" food truck. We were both hungry so we went to check out the truck. It has a small menu of 4 items, one them being the Turco Taco from what we could tell was a fun name for a Gyro so we ordered two of them. The gentleman running the truck was very nice and quickly went to work crafting our meal. We took them home and were completely amazed at how delicious they were the meat was tender with great spices, the sauce had amazing flavor, bread was super fluffyand yummy fresh veggies (on his anyways lol). Great customer service! Really good food. My boyfriend and I ordered the lamb Greek salad , a gyro and a hot dog. We did order double meat bc we thought it was going to be small pieces of meat but it was a lot of food! Saved some of my salad for dinner. Good gyro, nice Greek salad. We were traveling through and there was no place to sit down by the truck. So we picked up our food and headed to Blackies Pasture (10 minutes away) to eat while enjoying the amazing view. You can get the gyro spicy and he will add some jalapeno pieces. First time I've had such a delicious gyro since moving to the Bay Area from NYC. I had the beef/lamb gyro and was immediately happy. Best Gyro I've had in the Bay Area! Reminds me of what you can get in NYC at the halal carts only this seems much more fresh.

My husband is a gyro fan, so when he heard about this food truck, he knew he had to make a bee-line to go. His favorite gyro is at the Marin County fair every year, but once a year for a gyro does not suffice. We stopped by on a Saturday, and was pleasantly surprised to see the Happy Gyro food truck in the Goodman's parking lot. (Tip: free hot popcorn in the Goodman's store makes a nice accompaniment to the gyro or hot dog!) My husband loved his gyro, but would make a few minor tweeks the next time he orders. (more tzatziki, less lettuce) The meat was very flavorful and tender, and the wrap fresh and tasty. I ordered a hot dog, but probably wouldn't get it again. It just didn't appeal to me, and I prefer other hot dogs. Just my preference, as Mr B enjoyed my hot dog. The proprietor seems to take his gyro making seriously without a smile, takes his time to make it right. I would recommend this food truck for anyone that is a gyro aficionado. read more

Stopped in today asking for a Gyro wrap and the chef handed me a 5 lb. bohemath of a wrap and let me tell you, i enjoyed every bite of it. I will be back shortly to try other things on the menu, but if you are looking for a good Gyro wrap, go to goodman's hardware store and you'll see Happy Gyros in the parking lot.
