The chicken shawarma sando was also very tasty--didn't realize the fries we asked for extra crispy came inside the 'wrap.' It was perfect! We met friends from out of town at Zoya in La Jolla Cove. Love the decor and the unique ceiling. We had the Zoya Trio appetizer with three different types of hummus and multi colored carrots-very delicious. I ordered the chicken shawarma, wife got a falafel salad and my friend's wife ordered the Muhammara soup. All items were delicious and the service was excellent. The restaurant was out of 805 beer that night so my friend had a Guinness as a decent substitute. The menu isn't very extensive so if you're looking for a wide variety of options-you won't find them. Everything was great but take a look at the menu ahead of time to make sure you are prepared for the types of tasty food that is offered. Delicious food and nice atmosphere! My sister and I shared a margarita pizza and the chicken kabob plate. The pizza was the best pizza we have ever had from any establishment. We were excited to try this new restaurant. We got the family meal to share - it allowed us to try everything. The meats were excellent, beef kabob, chicken kabob, chicken schwarma and falafel. It was all very good and very tender. Salad was good as was rice. We will definitely go back And happy to see that it was crowded and doing well. read more

Food is beyoooooond expectations. The Mediterranean chicken tikka, beef tikka, falafel, and Shawarma family platter is so very good and delicious. Both beef and chicken are juicy and yummmmmy.
