Very nice looking restaurant with decent attentive service for the most part. The food selection…read morewas limited and it was just okay. There was a salad on the menu that had charred romaine lettuce, with marinated artichokes and reggiano cheese. I asked for just plain romaine and they poured olive oil and lemon on it. They didn't char it and it was still $25 for a plate of lettuce. The bread was tasty and came with butter loaded with too much garlic - the whole place was overrun with garlic as a matter of fact. The baby chicken was okay but not great and quite tiny which was fine. The dessert choice was limited to things that were all creamy and rich. We ordered gelato and it came to us like a bowl of soup - melted. The server didn't seem to notice and just put it down on the table. It was my birthday and my husband asked for a candle for the dessert but they didn't bother to remember. They did remove the charge for the melted gelato after I mentioned it. Since it was my birthday and it was expensive - and a bug came in from outside and landed in my hair it was a little disappointing. The bug was not the fault of the restaurant - it flew in from the parking lot where the outdoor tables were set up.

I picked up a large plain pie for approx 24$. The pizza wasn't to my liking. It was flavorless, probably cause the pizza sauce wasn't authentic - the cheese mediocre and the pizza dough didn't have that New York City/Bronx dough taste. I like my pizza Neapolitan style. Neopolitan pizza is my favorite with fresh ingredients for dough and simple but tried and true pizza sauce. This place was disappointing. I disliked the pizza taste here. Maybe try the other Italian dishes here, cause this pizza is NOT tasty. Adequate parking in the parking lot.

Y'all (as in my Long Island folk). If you have never been to Gino's...RUN!…read more This spot has become my absolute favorite over the last couple of years. Myself and my family can seriously not get enough. Whether you order to-go or dine in, expect amazing quality and generous portions. Anytime I am back home on LI from Boston, and especially when I have a non-NYer visiting, Gino's is first on our list. It is the definition of New York Italian food. Everything is so fresh, rich, and flavorful. You can tell that everything is made from the most quality ingredients, from the cheeses to the sauces. My personal must-orders: fried ravioli, drunken rice balls, Tortellini Cotto, buffalo spring rolls, cold antipasto, and a half pepperoni vodka grandma pie. Pro tip: I'm obsessed with adding hot honey or balsamic glaze to nearly everything, but honestly, Gino's dishes are so flavorful you won't need a thing! Note: if you have leftovers they will stay good for days!

The wait to be seated and get serviced wasn't too long either. I loved the old school diner style and feel to the restaurant. I highly recommend this mom & pop, diner like experience, in the heart of little Oyster Bay Village…read moreon the Island! Our server was friendly and continually refilled our water glasses without thinking twice and even the counter person who took our payments for the bill, was warm and kind. There are plenty of breakfast options, and the coffee was fresh, but I went with the "Oyster Bay Burger. It had mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, grilled peppers ( I told them to HOLD the peppers) and fried onions. The order arrived quickly to the table. The burger looked delicious, was delicious and was lip smacking tasty!! When that 1/2 pound bad boy came out, it was HUGE and it was love after first bite ! Fresh ground beef, Cooked to perfection, and so very juicy ! My mouth waters thinking of it now. Again they have PLENTY OF BREAKFAST options and at a reasonable price. Fruits, juices, eggs, toast, muffins, omelets, griddle specialities and more until 11 A.M. The rest of the menu carries traditional diner fair. You've got appetizers, fruit and juices, salads, beverages, Greek style salads, hot and cold sandwiches! The place has that ol' traditional diner feel, with wooden chairs & dining tables. It's like stepping back into a old time diner from the 50's. It's cozy and when I was there it was packed with people, seemed like a lot of locals. There is street parking in the front, but it can be challenging and tough. I recommend, though, I didn't know this until I used the restroom towards the back of the restaurant, that there is EASY PATRON PARKING SPACES IN THE REAR OF THIS RESTAURANT! Overall, this place is a great place to get your diner food fix! And the owner was on the premises and seemed to genuinely care about how his business was running. Wheelchair accessibility: is provided by a rear entrance, with, I believe, parking behind this restaurant. Buon Appetito!!!!!!!! Salute
