This place should note that it caters to the 25 & under crowd. They are always "nice" but taking care of the customer is always 2nd to whatever they are talking about amongst themselves when you get there or whatever else they have going on such as wiping down tables or the front door. I ordered two individual slices 'to go' and I got home only to realize that one of the slices only had the ingredients on half of it. Had the server girl not been so absorbed in her conversation with one of the other employees, she would have likely pulled a different slice. This experience is not the first or the second time. Terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE customer service!!! I am still shaking after the unbelievably rude, condescending, intentionally provocative treatment I received from "Matt" this evening. I ordered online for delivery, specified that I wanted my 1/2 ZBQ-1/2 Mexican pizza to be vegan &specified that meant no meat, dairy or animal products. I have ordered online from other Zpizzas and have had it executed successfully. I placed my order at 7:33pm and got a confirmation that it should arrive within 45 minutes. Around 8:35pm a pizza arrived. The driver didn't stick around for a tip - we thought it was odd at first button we opened the box to see chicken & sour cream. I immediately called the store and "Matt" answered. When I told him what was wrong he asked why I ordered online &said I should have called the store directly to speak with him because the cooks were "idiots" and didn't speak English. He then proceeded to tell me that I ordered it wrong by not removing the unwanted toppings. I informed him that when ordering a 1/2 & 1/2 it does not give a remove option which is why I put in the comments. Actually if you look at the Zpizza website it clearly states exactly what vegan is and which of their offerings ca be made vegan. Rather than arguing the point further I then asked what he was going to do to rectify this. He asked what I wanted and I said I want the pizza I ordered. He then said "Really? Are you serious?" He then made a statement about me wanting a free pizza. I told him that I was appalled by his treatment - No apology, blame the customer, no attempt to make it right. Eventually we got to the matter of the replacement. He seemed confused as to whether corn might be an animal then told me that there is a $3 delivery fee that couldn't be waived because it was a tip for the driver. I informed him that I would not be paying another delivery fee and that his driver didn't stick around the 1st time to actually collect his tip. "Matt" went on to make some comment about how I was getting a free pizza so I was going to pay the $3. That was too much. I asked for the manager's # as he previously indicated the manager was not there. Instead of telling me the # he again stated that I was getting a free pizza what more did I want? Eventually I became so living that I handed my phone to my husband and went in person. There I found a smarmy, smug little brat of a man-child who stated that I was "his entertainment" for the evening. The whole experience was surreal. I don't know if this guy is some sort of psychopath, or on drugs, or just a brat who perhaps had to take a summer job in exchange for mommy & daddy buying his BMW but he should not be in customer service. Oh and in case you're wondering - the replacement pizza was messed up too. It was vegan but it was missing toppings from the original order. Rest assured that I will be writing many letters to this store's owner, manager as well as corporate. This may had been my worst service experience ever! read more

They get pretty busy here after lunch time because there are a lot of kids hanging around outside the pizza shop. I tried couple dozen 2 slices from here and I have to say that they're all delicious. Dynamite option for making a healthy version of your favorite pizza. We recently ordered a sundried tomato, chicken, and carmelized onion pizza with a whole wheat crust and low-fat mozzarella. Horrible service, rude employees, almost harrassing to get on some rewards system when all we want is to order a pizza and have it delivered across the parking lot and they say, "it's standard 20 min prep time and 45 min delivery" But that's our whole lunch hour, I said. He said, sorry. But I explained the other management always and gladly delivered to us. He said, sorry, do you want to join the rewards program, again! Good Lord. This place is close to my house but would drive 10 miles if I had to. Really love the cheese they use and the crust is just the right thickness. Noah and his crew are always friendly and polite. It's nice to go to a neighborhood restaurant where the staff actually takes a genuine interest in me and my kids. I go to this place every time I visit the Newport area. I really love the sauce and the way they make the crust crispy. This is definitely not your traditional pizza place e.g. You can get grilled onions on your pizza if wanted. However, the unique taste is one of a kind. Though the product is good the service has changed for the worst. I ordered a Gluten Free Pizza for my daughter before her soccer practice. They usually take. I Mrs than 20min to Prepare and the girl on the phone said 15min. Once I got there they said it would be another 15min. That is over 35min I had to leave without the pizza though they charged my credit card. They said they had a large order. I had to call them back to credit my account not even sure they will. Had the Casablanca-not too impressive. Came here on a Friday afternoon around 4pm. It was packed with a ton of teenagers from the high-school across the street. They were literally just loitering. I couldn't stand the sight of one of the girls that were shamelessly making out with her boyfriend in the corner. Gross! Turns out, they had a friend that worked there and were waiting for him to get off. Seriously, wait outside! We waited quite awhile for our pizza which is a shame because we were the only customers among a room FULL of noisy teenagers. I was not able to try the Harbor View location because it was permanently closed. So I gave this location a second chance and found the saltiness more tolerable than the first time. Liked: - Healthier than most other pizza places. Some ingredients are organic or hormone-free. - Thin crust. - Conveniently located in a mall with Ralph's and CVS and close to work and home so that I can combine trips. - Good variety. Disliked: - The bottom of the crust is sometimes burnt. - Only the tomato sauce is organic. Regular crust used to be organic but it is no longer mentioned on the new menu in early 2015, so I guess that is not the case now. I wish they could use more organic ingredients. - Relatively high staff turnover. Tips: - To order online, you need to give them at least 20 minutes. - If you take the survey on the receipt, you can receive a coupon for BOGO small pizza by email in 48 hours. Limit 1 survey per person per month. - You can sign up for the ztribe and receive a similar coupon as above for your birthday month each year. - The Irvine Company sometimes provides coupons for zpizza on their website or in the mailers. - Other Yelpers mentioned the Thursday special which is 50% off XL pizza. Will try. Food: - Napoli: My favorite and always available as a daily special.
