The ambiance could use some warmth. Food was just ok. Wish it were better because it's so close to home.

We ate there last night for the first time. Zero complaints. The food was great, and the drinks were as well.

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place and we finally made a date night of it. We were so impressed with the menu and all of the homemade dishes and sauces. We started with the fried green tomatoes and the cheese sticks. Literally the best cheese sticks that I have ever had! The crust on those & the tomatoes was perfectly made and held together so well. For the main course I had a fried chicken sandwich and he had the chicken salad sandwich & salad combo he was very happy with his meal too. We were so stuffed that we had to take our blackberry cobbler to go. We are so happy to have this place so close by and we will be returning soon. Well let's say not sure I'll be going back. First, we get there and I had a reservation for five people. They say us at a table for 4i not sure if you ever sat five grown adults at a table for four. I got the breaded chicken fried steak fingers because I saw they were great! No they looked like we got reheated left overs. Gravy had way to much pepper. Onion Rings not sure but they were coated with pepper also. Mashed Potatoes and Fried Green Tomatoes no taste. They needed pepper Asked to talk to a manager but was told they were busy we'd have to wait awhile. On the other hand service great and Mushroom Swiss burger marvelous. We came here with a group of friends on Saint Patrick's day to sit outside and enjoy a quieter dinner and the service was so great. From the hostesses at the front, to our server, to the owner herself coming out to take care of us AND offer us some blankets because the wind had picked up. I still think this is a great place to go, and I will probably visit the restaurant again in person. However, their takeout game is suspect. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan on Door Dash. The food arrived and much to my surprise, there was a notorious lack of marinara sauce. Seriously? Who serves Chicken Parmesan without marinara sauce? I will give this place 5 stars because....they were playing "The Man Who Sold the World" while we waited for our food, and the food was absolutely delicious! New, clean place with equally clean and well chosen seating and decor on the walls. But the food is what makes it breaks a place. We wanted to an appetizer and we chose the bone in wings with handmade ranch, they were great! Big like Pluckers buy juicier and with the right amount of sauce! Ranch was nice and tangy and not too runny. Meals ordered: Meatloaf Chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans(green beans had a nice bacon fat flavor). Gravy was cream and had a nice buttery flavor. Buffalo chicken sandwich with seasoned fries, a hit with my daughter. Plate was clean! Club sandwich with fries, bacon was tasty and crispy. Kids corn dog with Mac and cheese (wish mac and cheese texture wasn't like Kraft mac n cheese). Good tea! We are going to be regulars here for sure! read more

My expectations of this place were high considering all my coworkers raving about it all the time. I decided to stop by with a friend, and sadly was disappointed. The ambiance is great, decor is nice, simple...staff was friendly and attentive but the food was below average. I decided to get the grilled chicken topped with green Chile smothered in cheese with a side salad. Salad was lettuce and tomatoes, nothing extra. Chicken was dry, tiny, and a small slice of cheese barley covered it. My friend ordered the shrimp, over a $15 plate and she received 6 tiny shrimp on a skewer, along with her sides. Not impressed. I'm really getting tired of trying to support local businesses that do not care about our safety. First bad sign, bartender had zero mask on--not even a chin diaper. After ordering food, can see that no one in the back is wearing a freaking mask! Our table right next to the other table. Son could reach back and touch the lady behind him. Too many servers constantly pulling their masks up and down or just having them below their noses. Food was almost Norma's style but more pricey. Definitely not worth the $100 we spent(without alcohol)! and risking Covid. Get your staff some masks that fit their faces and show them how to properly wear them--AND make everyone WEAR a mask! So mad we didn't stick with Craftway Kitchen tonight. Nope, bartender absolutely had no mask on--first thing we noticed because we were going to order drinks and he did not have one on. I sat with a view to the kitchen area--NO ONE back there had a mask on at all like the bartender. Server next to us had mask hanging under nose entire time she was serving. I really wanted to like this place. It looks so modern, hip, and the employees were pretty nice. We spent over $60 on our meal and it was a massive disappointment. The cheese sticks are like calamari breading on the outside and a HUGE hunk of cheese on the inside. I love mozzarella sticks, but good lord it's A LOT of cheese. No normal human should be consuming that much cheese. The blackened catfish was super peppery. The mashed potatoes were what really annoyed me. They were clearly the instant potatoes. The texture, taste, and smell were absolutely identical to the bagged instant ones. Oddly enough the mashed potatoes that came with the pot roast were different. The queso. You know when you make a roux with flour and butter and don't quite mix the two and you get that gritty flour taste? That's what the queso was like. They do have convenient parking spots right out front for pick up orders and they'll come out to you with your food. Overall just a major disappointment in terms of the food. read more

My boyfriend and I went in today around five. we were seated immediately by a guy who looked about 19 with blondish brownish shaggy hair. he was also a server and shame we didn't get his name. My boyfriend and I are 19&20 and normally customer service can be iffy because some servers at other places don't expect a tip from us. I'm not a fan of onion rings but my boyfriend is and i thought they were amazing. huge rings and not alot of batter, i liked it better, they were very crunchy and a soft inside. tasted very very good. next came up my chicken fried steak. i saw alot of bad reviews so i was worried but it came out very good. kinda tough but not too bad and i liked it, the batter reminded me of catfish batter almost, i don't think they use bread crumbs in the batter. My boyfriend got lemon pepper wings with buffalo on the side and the wings were crispy (the way he likes them) and a very good size, a great price for delicious wings as well. it was sorta slow when we came in and as we were leaving around 5:30-6 it definitely picked up. our server was amazing and bagged our to go bags and offered drinks to go. will definitely be coming back, thank you 11|17 ps. i saw some reviews about the wings too and my boyfriend normally asks for wings to be extra crunchy because that's how he likes them however he didn't say it this time so maybe ask for the server about them being less crunchy because he said they were really great wings! read more

We have been here numerous times and while the food is great the service is hit or miss. The bartenders have always been great, but they service 7 tables, the bar and the well. The hostess seems to be focused on opening the door and checking her phone while customers wait on refills. The bussers are not trained or they would help the servers service their clients. The waiters and waitresses stand against the walls while the people at bar seats wait on the overworked bartender. Overall, great potential but management is sorely lacking. This is a nice place for good food. We went late on a Saturday night and got seated right away. The boneless wings are really good and the loaded fries were a great appetizer. They had a $3 mimosa special. I got a burger that was a good size and had a lot of flavor. My husband got the Monterey grilled chicken breast that he said was good. This is my third time in here and while the first one was kind of terrible (sat at the bar and received no service forever and ended up just leaving), the last two have been great! Last time, I got the Sweat and Heat burger with the "Incredible Burger" patty swapped in. It was my first time with that meatless alternative and I thought it was great! I'm not a vegan or vegetarian, but I appreciate a good meatless burger for whatever reason. They don't charge you extra to swap the patty on any burger, which I appreciated. The burger toppings and bun were good. The bun was definitely fresh and more..bread-like than bun-like but I enjoyed it. I'm not sure I got the "sweet" part of the Sweet and Heat, but no love lost. I love Heat. Got it with a side salad and some kind of vinegarette (forgot which) and it was good too. Not crappy iceberg and shredded carrots AND no up charge! This time, we sat at the bar and had a bottle of wine (which they keep cold behind the bar and refilled our glasses often) and some super awesome mozzarella sticks. Pane Vino in Allen currently hold my favorite restaurant cheese sticks, but 11|17 might de-throne them! Definitely coming back! read more

We came here for a family dinner on a Friday night and even though it was crowded, they were able to set us right away. It was a nice night, so there were lots of people sitting outside, which made room for us inside. We had a nice table in the bar area and our server was great. I had the wings and while skeptical getting them from a place like this, I clarified if they were crispy and they said they were. I was really satisfied as they were extra crispy with no too much sauce. Everyone enjoyed their meal including the kids, who got fried shrimp and mac and cheese. How hard is it to get an order for two people right? Apparently it is hard to deliver one chicken fried STEAK and one chicken fried CHICKEN. Getting the food right is appreciated by your customers. Both chicken fried steaks where dry, with the coating separated from the too tough to chew meat. Our dogs turned it down flat. That speaks volumes.
