An unexpected Mother's Day outing with the family turned amazing. Great service for a young waitress, great food that didn't have any issues and the setting was not overly crowded and accommodated a large party. I've been to plenty of these chain locations and I can't complain about this one!!

Buffalo wings, just ask for them to be well done... thank me later

I have been to this location a few times in the past and the service was great, there were no issues because Brianna, was welcoming and friendly, Now let's talk drinks and food shall we,the apps were fried pickles and wings the wings ask for well done - The meals there was a steak tip dinner, salmon sasalad and fish and chips plate and they were all ok, my big disappointment was the beignet or shall I call them what they are donut holes.

Food was fresh and hot! It wasn't really busy inside which made the atmosphere very calm and relaxing.

Came here because I was In the area. Parking was great there is an entire parking lot across the street. I was able to park no problem but getting to the lot is not easy. So E times security would help move people along because it is a tight road . I walked into the restaurant and it's ambiance is very calming. The game was on yet it seemed very chill. The server was so sweet she was very attentive. I am a pescatarian and there were a great range of options . I chose the fish tacos and may I say SOOOO YUMMY. Please try if you won't be disappointed!!

My sister graduated so my mother decided on this restaurant since she's been to another location in Plainville. We originally had a reservation for 1pm but called to get a reservation at 3pm. We arrived on time and was told to wait 15-20 minutes since they weren't for us. We were already sensed that everything was unorganized. The popular drink for our group was strawberry lemonade and it definitely tasted like tap water in a dirty glass. The food is a 0/10 from the salty calamari with a raw lemon to the unseasoned fish and chips. To my still raw margarita flatbread that took 20 minutes to come after everyone else already started eating. We complained to the manager of the restaurant and he made sure we weren't charged for them. I wouldn't recommend until they hire more staff and get an actual cook.

    Gluten free menu
    Sami W.

The entire menu can be made gluten-free! The service is great, and the restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. Having been gluten free for a few years now, it is difficult enough to find a restaurant with gluten free options. Let alone be able to have an appetizer, entree, and dessert at the same place. LET ALONE have an ENTIRE menu that I can choose from. I wish I wasn't visiting from out of town. I 100% recommend this place to not only gluten free eaters, but everyone.

    Piccata gnocchi

The service was excellent. The ambiance was ok, and so was the food. I ordered the Chicken Piccata Gnocchi and I would get that again. The calamari was ok.

Asian calamari ~$15. Ok drink (margarita of sorts), ~$12.

We also spent an hour at the King Tut exhibit across the street! This restaurant/bar always seems packed. And, with reservations for 645pm (highly recommend) the bar was quite busy. The buzz from this high-end cocktail bar is exactly what you want on a Friday evening; From girlfriends sipping their wine to couples laughing and swirling their cocktails, Moon Bar is for the classy and sexy. Abby our server is excellent! A mixologist who knows all the cocktails and can recommend based on your preference. I tried one of their new cocktails with bourbon and did not care for it. Abby made me my mezcal drink that I have ordered before...its the 305 cowboy, an extremely popular drink. A must try for sure! Note: Some bartenders make you feel guilty for saying something about a drink you ordered and did not like. But, here at Moon Bar, Abby was so gracious to make me something that I will enjoy. Hats off to her:) Food: Since it was restaurant week we just shared everything. For starters we ordered the Tuna Tartare that was excellent. Then, we had Piri-Piri Chicken Thighs that were also good but quite spicy. For dessert, we shared the Caribbean Tiramisu, which was great. It was a tough choice between this and the Guava Cheesecake. We were so full that we ended up bringing home leftovers. Oh, I also forgot to mention we always order their Curry Fries - a must try when coming here Trust Me. My husband doesn't love curry but he loves these fries and you will too. #friesaretodiefor Moon Bar, thanks for being amazing in every way. The pita is so soft, the chicken is a thin, crispy, breaded cutlet, and it's garnished with avocado, bacon, the ranch (which tastes more like a garlic aioli), and bibb lettuce. It's so filling and delicious down to the last bite. The matcha is quite good--I've ordered the salted maple matcha. My friend is a big matcha fan and says this is the best matcha she's had in Boston. Of their baked goods, I'm a huge fan of the ube brownie--it's sweet, dense, and chewy. I ordered a scone once and it was a bit dry, so not my favorite. The space is small but I've been able to take out or grab a seat! Prices are a bit expensive especially for the sandwich, but I'm willing to pay it to support a good gluten free option in the city :)

We decided to stick around for an early lunch, so I ordered an avocado toast and black sesame latte. There was plenty of outdoor seating, and we were able to find a table while we waited. Our food was brought out in about five minutes since ordering, but our server forgot about our drinks - these arrived several minutes later. Verveine's avocado toast was by far the most elevated avocado toast I've ever seen. Vibrant pomegranate arils, pink beets (I think), arugula, and pistachios were generously sprinkled over the avocado. The bread was nice and crusty and served as a solid base for the mountain of toppings. As for my drink, I love anything with black sesame, but the latte had a more watered-down black sesame flavor than I was expecting. All in all, I felt satisfied with my light lunch but was really looking forward to trying Verveine's baked goods.

It's a cute little spot with plenty of seating inside, and they also had a nice outdoor parklet that would be great in good weather. We asked to sit at the bar so we could watch the cooks in action, which was really fun. The menu had all the classic breakfast favorites like eggs and French toast, along with some lunch options like hamburgers and chicken wraps. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My wife ordered the gluten-free eggs benedict and absolutely loved it. I had the Bonjour omelet, and it was delicious. However, it's close to Boston Common and the public garden so there's things to do to while you wait. The owner and staff are super nice and friendly. They're cognizant that people wait a long time to eat at their establishment and treat you with kindness when you're inside. It is very cramped and the tables are close together, but the rustic feeling makes it a great place to catch up with 1 or 2 friends. There's a wide variety of breakfast/brunch items, so there's something on the menu for everyone. The kitchen also is good about substitutions. Additionally, the portions are reasonable for the price, especially for the area. Most entrees come with a salad, which was a fun surprise. I got the Signature Scramble and liked the variety in the dish. The eggs did have caramelized onions, which I picked out, but there was a good amount of sauce and flavor on the plate. This place has been on my Boston brunch bucket list, so I'm glad that I've gone. I'd recommend this place to people who appreciate a good meal, but wouldn't take people who are impatient or claustrophobic.

The reviews looked good and I was excited to try their unique menu... well, let's just say we were very disappointed. First of all the prices are very expensive. I know this is Boston, but $17 for a cocktail is ridiculous! Our server was lovely, he was very kind and had a kind spirit. I was excited to try the "Rouleaux" since they remind me of the eggrolls, my mother learned from her Vietnamese mother-in-law. It was very crispy, which unfortunately is the only good thing I can say about it. The flavor was so off. It's almost as if the ingredients in the Rouleaux were loudly competing for my attention simultaneously! It didn't really melt in your mouth either, it just felt heavy. The other appetizer we ordered was called Dumplings croustillants au poet epics. This was actually worse than first appetizer. I like lemongrass, but MAN the lemongrass was so overpowering. I started to wonder... "is this how it's always made"?! I'm not even exaggerating. Overall, the atmosphere was nice - definitely pricey, and the food isn't worth the hype. Till next eats, SJ
