Number One Burger - one with modifications
    Stacey D.

I was really craving a burger, so my friend suggested we stop at 25 Degrees at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel before heading across the street to the Chinese Theatre for a screening of Sum Function. The location could not have been more convenient, the burgers were delicious, and the drinks did not disappoint. The burger on the left is exactly as it comes, but I'm a picky eater, so the one on the right doesn't have arugula or thousand island. It's a tiny little spot with a cute cozy vibe, and the bartender, who was also our waiter, was incredibly friendly and made the experience a good one. This is a great place to grab a bite before a show or movie night in Hollywood!

Extremely good food, I have a severe seafood allergy and the waiter actually went out of his way to verify that I'd be safe to have whatever I wanted. For the time period of the Rosevelt the Restaruant is very time period. Doesn't smell like an older place, very clean.

I actually enjoyed this more than it seems most people do. The bartender guys were super fun and nice and I thought the food we got was definitely decent given that it was 11:30pm and nothing else was open. We got the club sandwich, the grilled cheese, the tots and fries. The tots were really great and the fries were really crispy and well seasoned. Both sandwiches were big and filling. I'd definitely stop in again if I was in the area during a late night.

This was supposed to be our go to place when we have tourists from different countries. It accomplishes the goal of visiting the center of Hollywood blvd, along with American burger and beer , in the classic hotel Roosevelt. The building is historic and the lobby is cozy, the restaurant has a diner feel but they have updated the menu and we wished they had more burger choices. Service was decent. They were not that busy surprisingly, maybe because of their food quality. Burgers were overly fatty, heavy and soggy in my opinion. They can definitely do better and attract more customers in this prime Hollywood location. Your best bet is to park in the structure in the alley right next to it.

It was lunchtime and my friends were visiting from out of town. And they wanted to eat in Hollywood. 25 Degrees diner was an immediate "Let's Go There"! Connected to The Roosevelt Roosevelt Hotel in the middle of Hollywood, this diner has an Old Hollywood feel. We were greeted and had the option to sit at the counter with a great view of the kitchen where the chefs and cooks are busy making breakfast, lunch and dinner or sit in the nice comfy booths. We chose the booths. The menu has a wide array for food items. Wanted to wash my hands. The bathroom is in the lobby of The Roosevelt Hotel. It was like walking through time as I strolled through the swanky, high ceiling, very chill classy venue. Back in 25 Degree diner, our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and had a cool hipster vibe. The food was amazing. We ordered sweet potato fries, chicken sandwich, street dog, french fries and CHEESECAKE! This place is awesome.

Came to the hotel for a work trip about a month back. I wish I had time to try more eats but this was good enough to satisfy my cravings after an early flight while I was waiting for my room to be ready. The team is nice and attentive. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful! I fell in love with the red velvet walls at the table I was sitting. It's definitely worth a try here, and I know the burgers taste great even though I haven't tried it. I can just smell it from the other tables close by. Next time I'll try a burger for sure.

Caesar salad and tater tots were both really good. Dressing for salad was creamy and tasty. Tots were seasoned perfectly and crispy like they should be. No bathroom in restaurant and have to use attached hotel restroom after you get code from waiter. They are cashless and add an 18% service charge fee to every order.

Was staying at the hotel and looking for a casual dinner so this was convenient and yummy! Got the grain bowl and girlfriend got the wings. So neither one of us got burgers at the burger joint LOL! Grain bowl was good with beets and avocado and I had enough to eat as a snack the next night. Service was quick and kind.

I jumped in there cause i saw their milkshake sign an it was 92 degrees outside . First of all the milkshakes were spiked but they all looked so tempting so I ordered one delicious and beautiful to boot . It set inside an undoubtedly famous hotel the Roosevelt great ambiance lovely walls . A full bar with booths surrounding it . Bartenders were attentive and precise we ordered a cocktail . Later on I tryed one of their burgers served deliciously super rare with oodles of Gruyère cheese mushrooms arugula on a brioche . The crowd was an older crowd which was pleasant .Didnt really seem someplace the 20+s would like but who knows . I would definitely recommend I rarely eat a burger and to me this was one of not the best one for a long time at my perfect temperature with sweet potato fries they were nothing special though It was a little pricey and they do add a 18% service charge . There was only 2 of us and I thought California you need 6 to ad but Just look out

Wow, we stayed at the Hollywood Roosevelt. We decided that we were hungry and we wanted to have some lunch so we went ahead and went to 25°. Customer service was excellent service was super fast love the vibe in there. I will say it is a bit expensive for burgers and fries, but the food was good, we enjoyed everything. It was a good experience.

25 Degrees is definitely worth saving for a special occasion - not necessarily big milestones like birthdays, but more like a nice date night. Celebrating a raise at work. Catching up with a friend from out of town. The Roosevelt Hotel location, upscale diner aesthetic, and quality, unique menu items make for a memorable experience. The gourmet, well-crafted burgers and drinks are pricy, but worth it. The Chef's Choice No. 1 burger and the Sunset cocktail are my favourites. The build-a-burger option ensures you'll get exactly what you want, from fancy to simple. They are stingy with fries - ask for a full order if you want more than a pittance with your meal. Even if In N Out has your heart, 25 Degrees has some of the best burgers in LA - it's a must-try at least once.

People say 18% "hidden fee". It is not hidden. It is stated on the menu lol people just don't read. Just READ lol Nonetheless, great burger, large portion, amazing steak etc. it is chill vibe and open late!

I'm back. 11 years later. Menu is somewhat different but the same. I was out with our work crew for the Beetlejuice Experience across Hollywood blvd. So, excuse the Halloween like makeup! Convenient that this place is open 24 hours. If you ever want fries and a spike milkshake - you've found your place. The burger #2 had prosciutto burrata roasted tomato and pesto. The flavors were there but I thought the burger itself was overcooked for me personally. Nothing that I should have asked for the burger to be cooked medium. Tried the curly fries tater tots and onion rings. Loved all 3 sides of carbs lol - tater tots are always a fave, seasoning of the curly fries amazing and onion rings are lightly coated that you can eat an entire basket! Restaurant dining room is not that large and we were lucky to grab a booth on a Thursday night. Parking should be available at the Roosevelt since this restaurant is attached to the hotel. Parking also at Ovation except there is no validation available from the restaurant.

I did not get that. The server was okay, kinda felt like she had better things to do. When we got our food, gla busboy brought it and just dropped it at our table. I got steak and eggs and a chocolate shake and my parents got a burger and fries. The burger was the highlight, it was good. The fries were okay. My chocolate shake was okay, Denny's would have been better. My steak (which I ordered medium rare and cost 29 dollars) came blue rare and my father declared that they gave me an old one. And it's not like the kitchen staff didn't know it was undercooked, it was sliced on the plate. They didn't have A1, so I used the chimichurri sauce that came with it. I should have sent it back, but I wanted to try this legendary food. Surprise, surprise, it was bad. The chimichurri sauce tasted more like olive oil than anything (I know its made with olive oil but still). The eggs and hash browns were also below average. Well not a completely horrible experience, the Clark Street Diner was far below my expectations and I don't think I will return.

You can go to a run down old diner in any city, but this is the city of the stars. On this trip even though we were already heading to the establishment it must have been an extra slow day because someone was out on the boulevard trying to direct traffic to the restaurant. About 1/3 of the tables were full when we walked in, and it took a few minutes for us to be seen and seated. The wait staff is perhaps a bit understaffed to really be at their best. Our server did not explain much to us as far as the jukebox at our table, if we could use it and how... it would have been nice to know that. I ordered a Caesar salad and a coffee milkshake. When the server asked me if I wanted a small or large salad I asked what the difference in size was, since it wasn't explained on the menu to which they just kind of shrugged at me. Regardless of the perhaps lackluster service I really loved my food, the true, lived in vintage aesthetic and overall experience. Is 10.25 perhaps a bit expensive for a milkshake, i'd say so....but considering the overpriced reality of any trip to Hollywood I think it's something I would not regret spending my money on. Even though I can see why someone would rate this spot a 3, I simply cannot let my own rating fall below a 5 because I know the next time I'm in town it will be looming in my mind as the ideal place to feed my belly and nostalgic heart.

Now,…read moreit's not the absolutely most spectacular meal I've ever had, but considering how much of a tourist trap it is and how small the crowd was for dinner on a Friday evening, it was pretty darn good stuff. Our server was Juno and she was one of the best waitresses around! Sweet, attentive, super friendly, and her smile couldn't be beat! I ordered the short rib grilled cheese with a side of twisty fries or curly fries, and a Grants milkshake.. The food is definitely expensive the sandwich alone was something like $25 for the sandwich plus $2 for the fries being "upgraded" to curly fries. The shake was $11. For the size of the sandwich, $25 is steep. But you do get a big pile of fries for the upgrade price. The sandwich was toasted well and crispy on both sides, the short rib was tender a tad dry but great flavor, and there was a good amount of cheese! I think it sat for a while because the cheese had congealed so the timing was a slight issue but didn't ruin the sandwich. The fries on the other hand were a big miss. They were SO salty and pretty dry, like my mouth was parched for water every time I ate a curly fry. I don't know what happened there but the $2 was a waste. Now back to the good - the shake was amazing. For $11 they give you a full glass plus the extra in the metal cup. It was so well balanced between the nutella and banana flavors without being overly rich or sweet. It was thick too and had really great consistency. Sadly the sandwich filled me up so I couldn't finish the shake but I would definitely return for a milkshake in the future! Overall, a solid experience and I was pleasantly surprised, and I'd be happy to return if I was in the area!
