Number One Burger - one with modifications
    Stacey D.

I was really craving a burger, so my friend suggested we stop at 25 Degrees at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel before heading across the street to the Chinese Theatre for a screening of Sum Function. The location could not have been more convenient, the burgers were delicious, and the drinks did not disappoint. The burger on the left is exactly as it comes, but I'm a picky eater, so the one on the right doesn't have arugula or thousand island. It's a tiny little spot with a cute cozy vibe, and the bartender, who was also our waiter, was incredibly friendly and made the experience a good one. This is a great place to grab a bite before a show or movie night in Hollywood!

Extremely good food, I have a severe seafood allergy and the waiter actually went out of his way to verify that I'd be safe to have whatever I wanted. For the time period of the Rosevelt the Restaruant is very time period. Doesn't smell like an older place, very clean.

I actually enjoyed this more than it seems most people do. The bartender guys were super fun and nice and I thought the food we got was definitely decent given that it was 11:30pm and nothing else was open. We got the club sandwich, the grilled cheese, the tots and fries. The tots were really great and the fries were really crispy and well seasoned. Both sandwiches were big and filling. I'd definitely stop in again if I was in the area during a late night.

This was supposed to be our go to place when we have tourists from different countries. It accomplishes the goal of visiting the center of Hollywood blvd, along with American burger and beer , in the classic hotel Roosevelt. The building is historic and the lobby is cozy, the restaurant has a diner feel but they have updated the menu and we wished they had more burger choices. Service was decent. They were not that busy surprisingly, maybe because of their food quality. Burgers were overly fatty, heavy and soggy in my opinion. They can definitely do better and attract more customers in this prime Hollywood location. Your best bet is to park in the structure in the alley right next to it.

It was lunchtime and my friends were visiting from out of town. And they wanted to eat in Hollywood. 25 Degrees diner was an immediate "Let's Go There"! Connected to The Roosevelt Roosevelt Hotel in the middle of Hollywood, this diner has an Old Hollywood feel. We were greeted and had the option to sit at the counter with a great view of the kitchen where the chefs and cooks are busy making breakfast, lunch and dinner or sit in the nice comfy booths. We chose the booths. The menu has a wide array for food items. Wanted to wash my hands. The bathroom is in the lobby of The Roosevelt Hotel. It was like walking through time as I strolled through the swanky, high ceiling, very chill classy venue. Back in 25 Degree diner, our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and had a cool hipster vibe. The food was amazing. We ordered sweet potato fries, chicken sandwich, street dog, french fries and CHEESECAKE! This place is awesome.

Came to the hotel for a work trip about a month back. I wish I had time to try more eats but this was good enough to satisfy my cravings after an early flight while I was waiting for my room to be ready. The team is nice and attentive. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful! I fell in love with the red velvet walls at the table I was sitting. It's definitely worth a try here, and I know the burgers taste great even though I haven't tried it. I can just smell it from the other tables close by. Next time I'll try a burger for sure.

Caesar salad and tater tots were both really good. Dressing for salad was creamy and tasty. Tots were seasoned perfectly and crispy like they should be. No bathroom in restaurant and have to use attached hotel restroom after you get code from waiter. They are cashless and add an 18% service charge fee to every order.

Was staying at the hotel and looking for a casual dinner so this was convenient and yummy! Got the grain bowl and girlfriend got the wings. So neither one of us got burgers at the burger joint LOL! Grain bowl was good with beets and avocado and I had enough to eat as a snack the next night. Service was quick and kind.

I jumped in there cause i saw their milkshake sign an it was 92 degrees outside . First of all the milkshakes were spiked but they all looked so tempting so I ordered one delicious and beautiful to boot . It set inside an undoubtedly famous hotel the Roosevelt great ambiance lovely walls . A full bar with booths surrounding it . Bartenders were attentive and precise we ordered a cocktail . Later on I tryed one of their burgers served deliciously super rare with oodles of Gruyère cheese mushrooms arugula on a brioche . The crowd was an older crowd which was pleasant .Didnt really seem someplace the 20+s would like but who knows . I would definitely recommend I rarely eat a burger and to me this was one of not the best one for a long time at my perfect temperature with sweet potato fries they were nothing special though It was a little pricey and they do add a 18% service charge . There was only 2 of us and I thought California you need 6 to ad but Just look out

Wow, we stayed at the Hollywood Roosevelt. We decided that we were hungry and we wanted to have some lunch so we went ahead and went to 25°. Customer service was excellent service was super fast love the vibe in there. I will say it is a bit expensive for burgers and fries, but the food was good, we enjoyed everything. It was a good experience.

25 Degrees is definitely worth saving for a special occasion - not necessarily big milestones like birthdays, but more like a nice date night. Celebrating a raise at work. Catching up with a friend from out of town. The Roosevelt Hotel location, upscale diner aesthetic, and quality, unique menu items make for a memorable experience. The gourmet, well-crafted burgers and drinks are pricy, but worth it. The Chef's Choice No. 1 burger and the Sunset cocktail are my favourites. The build-a-burger option ensures you'll get exactly what you want, from fancy to simple. They are stingy with fries - ask for a full order if you want more than a pittance with your meal. Even if In N Out has your heart, 25 Degrees has some of the best burgers in LA - it's a must-try at least once.

People say 18% "hidden fee". It is not hidden. It is stated on the menu lol people just don't read. Just READ lol Nonetheless, great burger, large portion, amazing steak etc. it is chill vibe and open late!

I'm back. 11 years later. Menu is somewhat different but the same. I was out with our work crew for the Beetlejuice Experience across Hollywood blvd. So, excuse the Halloween like makeup! Convenient that this place is open 24 hours. If you ever want fries and a spike milkshake - you've found your place. The burger #2 had prosciutto burrata roasted tomato and pesto. The flavors were there but I thought the burger itself was overcooked for me personally. Nothing that I should have asked for the burger to be cooked medium. Tried the curly fries tater tots and onion rings. Loved all 3 sides of carbs lol - tater tots are always a fave, seasoning of the curly fries amazing and onion rings are lightly coated that you can eat an entire basket! Restaurant dining room is not that large and we were lucky to grab a booth on a Thursday night. Parking should be available at the Roosevelt since this restaurant is attached to the hotel. Parking also at Ovation except there is no validation available from the restaurant.

Is there s mandatory California service charge? I do not not give those who do that any business.

There was a mandatory 18% service charge last week. It was stamped in red at the top of the bill . I circled it an left no tip. There were only 2 in our party . California is supposed to be 6

It's really pretty on the rooftop plus has a fun vibe with a few wax figures around! Will Smith, James Dean, The Rock, Zendaya, Marilyn Monroe...a bunch of A Listers to dine around! lol! The staff was all so nice and kind here! I was actually really surprised to find such amazing staff at such a tourist type of spot. They were all just so great!!! The other clientele seemed to be coworkers there for happy hour, tourists popping by, then my friend and I! It was a good mix of people hanging out up there. I really liked the vibes. We went during happy hour which had a bunch of drink specials. I had a Mocktail which wasn't on the HH menu but it was so gorgeous and tasty! The Zombie ($12) had Grapefruit, lime juice, black iced tea, tiger's blood and was wonderful. I really appreciate when places put effort into their NA drinks. Also on the HH menu were a few food options and my friend had a $4 Steak Taco which he was happy with. I had the Box Office burger which was incredibly indulgent with A Cajun-spiced patty, balsamic onions, bacon jam, arugula and garlic aioli on a pretzel bun. Plus, they bring a little pan of melted blue cheese which they will pour tableside onto the burger for you. Cute! And I loved the burger. So I brought my mom again for her birthday tonight since she's visiting from out of state. Tonight the server was one of the worst I've had in a long time. From the time we got there he acted annoyed at literally everything we said or asked. Didn't even greet us or make an attempt, the second we sat down he asked what cocktails we wanted and rolled his eyes and walked away when I said we just sat down and hadn't seen the menu yet. Acted like he hated working there and hated us for being there. I asked them for a different server even (which I've never ever done in my life) but my mom was embarrassed and asked me not to and we kept him and she regretted it later when he was still the worst we've had. No personality, acted annoyed at everything, rarely checked on us, would ignore us when walking by even when we needed something, never told us the bar or kitchen was closing, just zero service from him besides the brief moment after he knew we complained and he pretended to try a little bit. That lasted .2 seconds. It was frustrating because we could see other tables with different servers get great service and truly the server can make or break your evening. I've worked in hospitality for 15 + years so maybe I'm more aware of when servers are spectacular or terrible. And the first time I went, even though my friend was late picking me up the server was still really wonderful. He even remembered me tonight and took a picture of my mom and I instead of our server who should have been the one offering for the special occasion. We were celebrating her birthday and I left saying I never want to come here again. To top of off, I'm a big wine person and they served their port in a rocks glass. I've never I bought an expensive Madeira or port and had it served in such an awful glass for tasting. It ruined the pour, it didn't smell or taste right. Glasses truly matter and it showed a lack of care. The pour is usually smaller for ports and Madeira but this was laughable how little they gave. My mom lost her pearl earring to just top off the worst dining experience we've had in a long time.. in the video singing happy birthday to her she has both on but right before we left one fell out and we couldn't find it on the floor. They were trying to close down so they said they'd call us if they found it but I'm not feeling super hopeful after the bad experience.

Update lol I did not mix it until halfway through, I added a brown sugar cube and noticed there was still cocoa on the bottom and I got a lot more of the espresso taste, made it honestly much better the espresso was still incredibly smooth and the cocoa was a compliment rather than the main taste still. I tried a clump of the cocoa powder and I think it's because it's not bitter at all, and mild sweetness- very good. The Americano was great, normally it tastes like just coffee and water but this was also blended and smooth For the drinks, the Night Rosée (non alcoholic) was great, it has ume, grapefruit, white tea, and soda. I thought the ice cubes looked great but my mom was not a fan of how little drink there actually was, especially since it was non alcoholic. I think that the blend of ingredients was very thoughtful, the grapefruit shows up but not overpowering, and has a sweetness that makes the drink overall satisfying. The service and ambiance are what MUST be talked about. You come in to a garden wall, mirror prism wall, a beautiful wood themed bar, a room with thoughtfully picked pieces, and a seating area outside that has a view of rodeo drive as well as another seating area that has wine glasses, cups, and everything laid out already ready for those who are getting something more than a drink. There is always calm music playing, and everything just looks cohesive together. In terms of the service, everyone is wearing a white collared shirt with navy crewneck/blazer, and it is clear they are all trained, when we first sat down it comes to the little things, we got served 3 different colored glasses which I loved, they were all themed like the green looked like leaves, the blue looked line lines like water, the orange looked like gems. But the glasses are placed and the water is poured the same way, same side and they move for every single person, rather than just getting all the glasses together. They move slowly with intention, same exact thing with the menus, opened for us

Excellent beers on tap for $5-$6 and even an espresso martini for like $14. Chicken sandwich was always on point and also a big fan of the Morrison Trio. Owner was always pleasant and the servers were top notch. I never had an item on the menu that was not delicious. And I tried just about everything on their rotating happy hour menu. I remember they were selling $10 Don Julio 1942 shots one time because it was Cinco de Mayo week. Great times and memories made at this restaurant. Holiday decor was always great to see especially during Halloween. A true loss. Bring it back please! If there are any Dodgers fans out there with a good pregame spot, please reply with recommendations seeing how I do not have one anymore.

The staff was friendly and very attentive. The wings and drinks themselves were super flavorful and I thought I would have more time to enjoy and come back to visit while in town. My partner also tried their burger and fries and decided to stop by the restaurant only to find out they closed a couple of months ago. It was worth the visit when we went there back in December.z The place was cute and it felt comfy.

There is both an indoor and somewhat outdoor area, so if you want something, a little quieter and high-end or more of a sports bar, they have both. I love the twinkly lights outside too. The service was fantastic. They were all efficient. I was on crutches so they sent me right away in a close spot surrounding area areas were so annoying and loud and nobody ever approached me the way this business did. They do it right.

The restaurant was basically empty, but the man who "served" us was so weird and rude... he was acting as if he was extremely busy and the way he was speaking to me from the moment I walked in was extremely rude and lowkey aggressive. I ordered sparkling rose and he brought me what looked like prosecco- I said is this rose? He literally acted like I came in there every day annoying him or something... it was truly strange. He insisted it was rose (it wasn't rose colored ) Anyway it wasn't the rose that was the problem, it was the way this weirdo was acting. It's hard to explain it bc it was so weird but I was SO UNCOMFORTABLE I insisted we leave. By the way, we'd been there for five minutes. We went to superba instead and it was such a better vibe. Like night and day. Would not recommend dining in at running goose.

I have probably driven by it a hundred times or more without seeing it. Thankfully, I know where it is now and, even better, they have a few dedicated parking spaces behind the restaurant, but good luck with the extremely finicky pay machine. Who knew that "electric owls" were nighttime train conductors? Well, now you know. The train theme is carried through the decor of the restaurant and apparently, this is the site of an old train station. My Sunset Sour was a very nice whiskey sour. They have six nonalcoholic cocktail (mocktail) options, which was impressive. The Grill Daddy Burger (with bacon, cheese, BBQ sauce, and more) was very nice. They were offering fries with crab during our visit and they sounded decadent. Under other circumstances, we would have tried them but couldn't do so this time around. You can hang at the bar, on the outside bar patio, or inside the very cool-looking interior restaurant area. Think 1920s decor, literally 100 years ago, but still awesome today. This is a very nice spot for cocktails, mocktails, and well-made upscale bar food.
