Monday night dinner at @333pacific in Oceanside, CA. Located at the corner of the Club Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort, 333 Pacific boasts a delicious menu of some of the most mouthwatering appetizers, entrees, desserts, and spirits! They've got a great selection of "Nibbles" during happy hour. Some of my favorites pictured here are: Charred Brussels Sprouts, Lobster Bisque, Classic Caesar Salad and the Crispy Sweet Chili Calamari. All of these were $9/ea. These appetizers were fairly substantial sized portions and very filling. At $36 for the 4 appetizers (and I took most of the Brussels Sprouts and half the Calamari home), this is one of the most inexpensive meals one can have with a great view of the ocean just outside the doors! Additional "Nibbles" on their Happy Hour menu include 2 Bloody Mary Oyster Shooters, Shrimp Ceviche (DELICIOUS. Highly recommend), and the Herbed Frites. Service here is IMPECCABLE. We trid to dine 333 Pacific last year but there were no tables, so tired again last weekend without the reservation, we were lucky to get a able this time. The food was great! Lobster Bisque ($16.95) was great. Maple Glazed Pork Belly ($19.5) was amazing, must order this one. It's so tender and tasty with whipped mascarpone, pepadew jam and pickled mustard seed. Half Dozen Oysters ($20.95) was very fresh. O-side Cioppino ($39.95) was great. The Pacific Steakboard ($164.95) was excellent, it has trip of chef curated cuts and accompaniments of the day, highly recommended. The service was excellent and professional! Food was great. I had the waygu meatloaf on a bed of mashed potatoes. Service was incredible, our waitress was attentive and very friendly. Great job. Some in our dinner party had a ribeye steak and was very happy with the way it was cooked and the flavor. read more

Tempting based on location. Horrible, seriously bad. The service was good, although host and service staff felt distant, not warm, but adequate. The food is below par, far below ok. The filet was ordered as rare, it was served as medium, almost well done. The filet had no seasoning, not even salt and the sear which typically is low pan temp. The Wild Mushroom Risotto was not edible. We sent back the Burratta salad, as it was very watery and looked like wet cottage cheese. Really sad. I hope the Cohn restaraunt group gets this under control as it's a huge punch in the gut and not consistent with their other restaurants. Great location. Great spot for happy hour! $10 food specials only available in the bar area. Definitely get the Brussel sprouts; the portion was huge. The calamari was a little over cooked and the skewers were average. We got the key lime pie and pink cocktails: both were super sweet. I enjoyed the 333 salad as well. Our waitress was attentive. They have a nice view of the water from their dining room; would be great for a special occasion meal. read more

Nice place on the beach. I've been here a few times. The food is sometimes great, and sometimes just ok. The service is sometimes great and sometimes not. On this particular visit, we sat at the bar and while the bar staff were friendly and chatty, the food orders came out disappointingly slow. The kitchen was closing at 9pm and while we were seated at 8pm, we were told that there was plenty of time to order anything we wanted. We started off with the Ahi Tuna Tartar and the Mussels. Both dishes were fine, but it took quite a while to get the food. We also ordered a Filet medium-rare. Thirty minutes went by and still nothing. The kitchen was closing in just 15 minutes when finally, the steak came out, medium-well and cold. It had been sitting in the kitchen for a long time waiting to be picked up before someone realized it wasn't getting to a table. The bar staff offered to have a new one made but it was almost 9pm, so we passed. They took the Filet off the bill but it was a disappointing evening. I had to go somewhere else to finish my dinner. I want to like this place but it's so hit-and-miss. I will give them another visit the next time I'm in town and hopefully things will be better. read more

We have been hearing about this restaurant for years and finally decide to try it as the kids are old enough to appreciate the food/ambiance. The ambiance was amazing as we sat outside just in time to see the sun setting. The service was great and they constantly came by to see how we were doing. We had ordered the cowboy ribeye, filet trios, and the short rib dish. All were so so except the short rib dish which was tasty. We had also ordered the Brussels sprouts side which was amazing. The Risotto was quite tasty as well. As for deserts, the dish had the butter cake and the pie which were both ok. read more

Made a reservation 2 weeks in advance, plus I stopped by the restaurant a week before to emphasize to be seated indoors with the window view towards the pier. The overall service and food is not the best and would recommend the General Manager to reconsider seriously improvements. PROS Service person Alex is attentive and cordial. Try his best to fix the dinner outcome, but it was already ruined. Ordered the SWEET CHILI CALAMARI sweet chili-citrus glaze, valencia orange aioli, sesame. Ordered the 14 oz. DRY AGED NEW YORK STRIP It was cooked as requested. No WoW, effect. Ordered the BLACKENED SKUNA BAY SALMON with gnocchi it was tasty. Nothing special. Birthday Dessert had a beautiful presentation and it tasted amazing according to the birthday adult. CONS Ordered the 8oz FILET MIGNON OMG! It was not cooked as requested. Plus it look and taste BURNT. It was a piece of meat tasteless and with NO presentation made you ill by looking at it. No rosemary bread was served as a courtesy. We had to requested it. When the server brought it to our table made an announcement with a loud British accent apologizing to make up for it missing the 1st time and the other issue with Filet Mignon. Ordered the ROASTED SMOKED CAULIFLOWER it did Not taste smoke at all. Regular cauliflower flavor. BERRY BERRY CHEESECAKE it was a complementary dessert to make up for the food and the service experience. The cheesecake was not freshly made it was hard as a rock. Another disappointment Overall the server Alex, tried to somehow salvageable our dinner and service experience at 333. Unfortunately, my guest was very disappointed and did not eat her Filet Mignon nor want to order anything else. The charge was removed from the tab. The night was ruined, made reservations at another fine dining place in Los Angeles, CA.,to make up for this disappointed experience.. We went here for dinner a few days ago and were hoping to have a better experience. The restaurant itself was very hot and humid and there were flies and gnats in the dining area. The service was very slow, with servers letting us know they were understaffed. While they apologized, it was clear there needs to be better management of their staffing. To add to the experience two of us got food poisoning. I would love to recommend this place because if it's wonderful location, but unfortunately, I just can't. read more

Visited 333 twice in two days. The first time made a reservation and paid for an "experience" which included a candle lit rose petal table. Our server was above excellent. The wine list was fantastic! Even saw some of my favorites from Napa on the list. We had the octopus, a salad and the filet trio. All were amazing. The octopus was above excellent. It was super tender and the best I have ever had outside of a Michelin Star restaurant. Met a friend for some apps and drinks the next evening. Sat at a booth in the open bar seating . I ordered an espresso martini which was one of the best I've had. We ordered the octopus again along with the artichoke and steak skewers. All were amazing. The skewers were super tender. Arrived on time for our dinner had signed up for the romance experience but never got charged for the experience don't know if it was even registered. Took over 40 minutes to get cocktails had our oysters arrive before our drinks. Then took forever for dinner to arrive. My wife had the sea scallops with the sweet corn risotto and the risotto was heavily salted. I was enticed by the special of Sea Bass now the server never said how it was to be prepared just what was on it. The Sea Bass was the full fish head and bones still in the fish. Big mistake they should've deboned that fish before serving it. Explained to the manager about the risotto and the sea bass and also trying to figure out why it took almost 2 hours when everyone else around us was getting their food and leaving. They offered to get us some lobster bisque and when that finally arrived there was no lobster chunks and it was also very heavily salted. Not a good thing for people with high blood pressure. When I explained to the manager what the issues were he's like well I don't want you leaving here hungry I said yeah but you just brought out my wife's food and mine still hasn't come out since I ordered the salmon because that was the last sea bass. The manager came and told me the bones in the fish was standard which is unheard of! At 10 pm we left our 730 reservation with no food available to us and no place to take my bride. I would give this more than 5 stars if possible! My husband and I had lunch recently in their oceanfront sunroom on a beautiful day! The food and service were excellent! Our server was Hannah and she was so attentive and helpful. There was another dark haired girl who assisted and the two met our every need and made the experience delightful! I ordered the Hamburger and my husband ordered Fish and Chips. Both tasted good and the portions were huge! Service can really make or break an experience, as everyone knows. Both ladies were so upbeat and helpful. The manager came to our table, as well as others, to make sure everything was good. This is the way to have happy, repeat customers! The restaurant is located by the Oceanside Pier and one can walk out and view the surfers up close--fun! This is one of our favorite restaurants and we recently went there with our kids for a last minute dinner. It was our first time taking the kids and we were thoroughly impressed with the kid's menu. I didn't know what to expect as this isn't an inexpensive restaurant, but the bang for your buck for the kiddos was really nice. That also comes with amazing service which we had. Dalicia was our server and she was AMAZING!!! She was so attentive to us and our kids; making sure they always felt welcome, and continuing to check on us. Not a Fan Anymore! Disappointed Return Visit - Quality and Service Have Slipped I've been coming to 333 Pacific for years and used to rave about their steaks and stellar service. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. What was once a go-to spot for a great night out has turned into more of a tourist trap with declining food quality and inattentive service. We had multiple issues during our recent visit. I took my department out for a reward dinner for a job well done and I felt like I delivered way under what they performed at work. I will not be using this place as a company dinner locaqtion anymore. We asked for bread three separate times, and each time our server said they'd bring it--yet it never arrived. We ordered Brussels sprouts as a side, only to be told much later that they had been taken to another table and never reordered for us. On top of that, one of our drinks never showed up at all, and no one seemed particularly concerned about correcting the mistake. The steaks, which used to be the highlight of the meal, were underwhelming and lacked the flavor and quality we used to expect from this place. It's disappointing to see how far 333 Pacific has fallen. Sadly, I won't be recommending it to friends anymore. There are better options in Oceanside that still care about food and service. read more

Updating my last review. We went back specifically for Happy Hour this time after so many recommendations. It's not a huge suggestion, but it was great for what they had. We had the calamari, fries, ceviche, and oyster shooters. I was pleasantly surprised at how great the food was. The happy hour specific drinks were fine. Heavy on the pour, taste was average. A couple misses but overall a good experience. Celebrated our Dad's 70th birthday while on vacation and he loves a good steak. Everyone liked what they ordered, no complaints. We're always worried about food safety due to our peanut allergy, but felt cared for with appropriate precautions in place. Our pork belly and oyster apps were great. The Lobster Bisque was tasty and filling, not too rich. Each of us had varieties of steak cooked differently, and each was cooked to our liking. Drinks are a bit on the stronger side, so keep that in mind when ordering cocktails. We never received a kids menu, though we had two kids with us. They ended up sharing entrees with the adults, which was fine. They served us an appetizer we didn't order and though they were kind about taking it back, they forgot to give us the one we actually ordered in its place. They also forgot about one of our drinks after all the apps and drinks were out and finished, but brought it promptly once we asked about it. When we received the bill, the incorrect app was still on our bill but was removed after we pointed it out. Overall, all the staff was very friendly and accommodating. My boyfriend took me here as we were spending the weekend in Carlsbad. This is in Oceanside so it's about 30 min away from La Jolla. My boyfriend made the reservation on open table and he surprised me by selecting the rose petal option which was only $6/person! For our appetizer, we got the calamari and we asked the chili sauce to be on the side rather than drizzled on the calamari. That was a good choice and the calamari was very well seasoned, would get it again. For my entree, I got the Maine lobster duo which came with rose Mary potatoes. Not to be over exaggerated, but those were the best potatoes I've had at any restaurant! The lobster was juicy and tasted amazing with the butter. Just want to give a shoutout to Oliver!
