We made reservations for our anniversary (we did not pay the extra fee for the special touches such as the rose petals) however everyone wished us a happy anniversary. Our server Alania (I'm sure I destroyed the spelling) was such a joy! She was a highlight of our experience. My favorite thing about 333 Pacific was the alcohol free drink section. I felt so excited to have my Melon Mojito mocktail, it was so delicious! I ordered the watermelon burrata salad (wow!) and the seared scallops (the corn risotto was the star of my meal) it was all amazing! My husband had the cowboy ribeye and he really enjoyed it. The little touches on the dishes were not overlooked, like the pistachio brittle on the salad or the jalapeños in the corn risotto. We sat just as the sun was setting and it was a beautiful view. We came here for wife's birthday dinner celebration. Was debating between Steak & Seafood for 2 or the Chef's Boards, we looked around our neighbors' tables and the Chef's boards looked very appetizing so we went for the Pacific board. We also ordered the charred octopus which is absolutely delicious, it is so tender and well seasoned, with bits of andouille sausage makes it even better. The chipotle glazed pork belly is very nice as well. The iceberg lettuce is huge portion, but the blue cheese dressing is kind of lite tasting wish it has more bit to it. On to the meats, my favorite was the fillets, sooo tender. Usually, I am a ribeye guy all the way but the fillet is better than the ribeye, my least favorite is the pork chop, nicely cooked but tough next to those two beef. The chimichurri sauce is nice accompaniment to the meats. Our waitress was very nice and prepared nice birthday cupcake for my wife. We always celebrate our anniversary or birthdays at this restaurant and absolutely love the food, the service, everything! But last Sunday, we went there to celebrate our anniversary and mentioned the occasion, not only in our reservation made online, but to the people who seated us. The nice woman who seated us told us she would make a note of it on our reservation. Usually, they offer a small dessert to help celebrate, but nothing was offered. Not only that, the two tables who were seated long after us were waited on first and we were waited on third. We received our food later than they did. None of it made sense. Don't get me wrong. The food was absolutely delicious, the servers were very kind, but sadly, it wasn't the same special experience we've had in the past. FOOD: I can highly recommend the 333 meatloaf, 333 greens salad, the incredible rolls they serve with maple butter, the grilled mushrooms which were spectacular, and the s'mores dessert, which was mind blowingly good. read more

We tried this place for the first time last week. The hostess needs to work on her customer service skills. First impression comes from the hostess. Is she inviting or in the wrong position. I liked the atmosphere. The bartender was very friendly and engaging. He helped us make decisions about the menu since it was our first time. We chose the lobster bisque, Caesar salad and the fillet trio. The lobster bisque was delicious. It was however on the like ward side. The salad greens were wilted. The fillet trio was fantastic. The meat was very flavorful. I had the house Chardonnay. It was nice. My husband had a martini which was equally good. The check had 5% additional fee to offset high costs. We didn't notice the disclosure on the menu but I am sure it was just overlooked because a disclosure is required. My husband and I are not fond of these types of charges. Our bill was $159.00 for two people not including tip. Upon our exit, my husband wished the hostess a good evening and said thank you. She could barely eek out a smile. Came in as a six top for my sister's graduation. Ambiance was well lit and the restaurant felt spacious with a large bar not feeling cramped. Food was amazing. We shared oysters and had enough surf and turf to leave well fed. Server was awesome and attentive. Checked in at the right times, and the person I assumed was the GM did a last minute touch to see how everything was. They even brought out a "Congratulations" bread pudding for my sister with the word written in chocolate! Definitely recommend for anyone celebrating in Oceanside. read more

Wonderful food & fabulous service. It was suggested by our server to split the baby iceberg wedge salad & she was correct. Splitting the salad is still a nice size side salad. The seared Maine scallops were cooked perfectly. The New York strip steak was cooked perfectly and also a huge portion. Black salmon with gnocchi was also very good. I have been coming to 333 Pacific for what feels like my whole adult life. It's been for an Anniversary, meet up for a drink and then walk the pier, business dinner - all the things. Dress code is business casual. There are a lot of special occasions here so I would recommend you be respectful of that and not ruin someone's special day by dressing down. It's fancy but not stuck up. This last time I made a resi for a table of 12 for work a few months ahead of time. I had to call because the website doesn't accommodate a reservation of that size. They were nice and I got a text confirmation the same day which out me at ease. The day of the reservation we had an extra person join us and the staff accommodated by squeezing us in to the corner booth. It got a little warm but it was great. The service was grand all around. Everyone's order was perfect and drinks were quick and delish. The bread is like a rye but served with a maple butter - very unique. Bathrooms here are really nice. I love the free underground parking especially on a hot day. I have tried everything on the menu except the oysters. The only thing that's not amazing is the artichoke - really hard to share too. Everything else is incredibly delish and portions are generous. This time we had Brussel sprouts, Mac n cheese, calamari, lobster bisque, wedge salads and then 13 entrees of course. Short rib is divine, can't go wrong with the filet trio, blackened salmon is great. I feel like this is just a solid go-to place that you know will get it right if you make a reservation. read more

We ordered the steak and sea for 2 (ribeye, lobster tails, roasted garlic and herb potatoes, onions, and mushrooms), caesar salad, chipotle glazed pork belly, charred octopus, o-side cioppino, and herb grilled artichoke. My favorite was the pork belly and octopus. The ribeye and lobster tails were so good too. Everything was seasoned so well and I loved the plating of all of the dishes. What a perfect place for an anniversary dinner. 333 Pacific had extras you can add to your celebration with champagne and rose petals. We opted for the surf and turf platter which was impressively large. The steak was cooked perfect and the lobster tails were delicious! We subbed out the potatoes for smashed potatoes which were delicious! Can I also say their complimentary bread is the best bread I've ever had at a restaurant! It came out steaming hot and the herb maple butter was such a great pairing. We also had the crudo special and it was done with such unique flavor combos. Apples, kiwi, mushrooms with some tajin. James, our server was fantastic in recommending various dishes and he was attentive during our whole meal at all the right times. I'll start with the positives: The location is wonderful. The place settings were nice and top notch for fine dining. Our service was great! We went with a group of 6 adults and only one of the six thoroughly enjoyed their meal (they ordered the scallops). The rest of the group got different cuts of steak and none of us were overly impressed. I myself got the NY Strip, Oscar Style, so my steak alone was over $80... it was not worth that at all to me. The steak and the Oscar topping lacked flavor and tenderness. The other steaks ordered also lacked a lot of flavor. One of our group folks got the short rib Mac & cheese and it was actually pretty tasty. The highlight of the evening was the complimentary birthday dessert - it was delicious!! Overall, it was a mediocre dinner but wonderful service and atmosphere. We likely won't be back simply because of the $400 tab that didn't seem worth it to the group. read more

I celebrated my birthday here last Sunday. I have to say, the weather was perfect, the service was great, and food was delicious. It wasn't very busy when we got there but more guests showed up as we were near the end of our early dinner. Now for the food. We shared the calamari and octopus appetizers and both were excellent! I ordered the blackened salmon. Someone else in our party had the filet trio and another the New York Strip. Overall, everyone enjoyed their food. I was even surprised with a delicious dessert for my bday! We all finished off dinner with a cappuccino and that was very good as well. Located at the corner of the Club Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort, 333 Pacific boasts a delicious menu of some of the most mouthwatering appetizers, entrees, desserts, and spirits! They've got a great selection of "Nibbles" during happy hour. Some of my favorites pictured here are: Charred Brussels Sprouts, Lobster Bisque, Classic Caesar Salad and the Crispy Sweet Chili Calamari. All of these were $9/ea. These appetizers were fairly substantial sized portions and very filling. At $36 for the 4 appetizers (and I took most of the Brussels Sprouts and half the Calamari home), this is one of the most inexpensive meals one can have with a great view of the ocean just outside the doors! Additional "Nibbles" on their Happy Hour menu include 2 Bloody Mary Oyster Shooters, Shrimp Ceviche (DELICIOUS. Highly recommend), and the Herbed Frites. Service here is IMPECCABLE. We trid to dine 333 Pacific last year but there were no tables, so tired again last weekend without the reservation, we were lucky to get a able this time. The food was great! Lobster Bisque ($16.95) was great. Maple Glazed Pork Belly ($19.5) was amazing, must order this one. It's so tender and tasty with whipped mascarpone, pepadew jam and pickled mustard seed. Half Dozen Oysters ($20.95) was very fresh. O-side Cioppino ($39.95) was great. The Pacific Steakboard ($164.95) was excellent, it has trip of chef curated cuts and accompaniments of the day, highly recommended. The service was excellent and professional! The Cohn group really doesn't disappoint. This restaurant sits right across from the pier with gorgeous ocean views and a cozy interior. Seating is available outside and in, with tables and booths and a ton of comfortable bar seating as well. We went for lunch. There are a variety of specials, including a delicious shrimp & grits. I ordered a salad and the server offered to split it for us. The split portion was very generous in size and - if you like a Wedge, this one is so cronchy with ice cold lettuce and the perfect amount of dressing, bacon and !onion strings! There is bread service with a warm rosemary roll and maple butter. It was hard to not just shove the whole thing into my face. So delicious. Our server - I can't recall her name but she is from close to SLO and we had a nice conversation about the mid-coast - she was absolutely perfect. Went on a first date here. He put his name and phone number in and told us a table should be ready latest 7:15 pm and they'll text us. We never received a text, came inside and got sat at a table outside. Was given the menus and about 10 minutes later got water and bread. We waited for another 50 minutes expecting to see a server come over to us soon. After an hour we decided to leave because no one spoke to us or even acknowledged we were there. Pros: Walked in and got instantly greeted and sat right away. It was Wednesday evening so it wasn't busy whatsoever. Our table was spacious and intimate. We couldn't hear the table across or next to us so it was nice. Cons: being in the service industry for many many years I tend to be very lenient and understanding when it comes to service. I make notice of restaurant flow, how busy it is, how big the servers sections might be along with how busy it is. I never expect anyone to be me or do how I would. This being said, service was quite slow and no personality. Our server basically brought drinks, which took a while, took order, Stopped by once and dropped off the check. Very robotic. When coming to the upscale restaurant and being ready to spend a couple hundred dollars I expect better service, more personable and much better food. We got lobster, ribeye and the sides it came with. No flavor at all. The mashed potatoes tasted, looked and felt like they were at least a day old. We were so hungry because we were anticipating our date all day so we didn't make a fuss and just wanted to be on our way. The server came by once before we could really get into our food to ask how it was. We said fine because we hadn't really eaten it yet. He didn't walked by again so we could say anything more. It was such a disappointment all around. I felt like none of the money spent was worth it. I'm not one to write negative reviews but rather enjoy writing positive where deserved. However, this experience was so disappointing and I feel like we wasted our money. We won't be returning and unfortunately won't recommend to anyone. read more

Nice place on the beach. I've been here a few times. The food is sometimes great, and sometimes just ok. The service is sometimes great and sometimes not. On this particular visit, we sat at the bar and while the bar staff were friendly and chatty, the food orders came out disappointingly slow. The kitchen was closing at 9pm and while we were seated at 8pm, we were told that there was plenty of time to order anything we wanted. We started off with the Ahi Tuna Tartar and the Mussels. Both dishes were fine, but it took quite a while to get the food. We also ordered a Filet medium-rare. Thirty minutes went by and still nothing. The kitchen was closing in just 15 minutes when finally, the steak came out, medium-well and cold. It had been sitting in the kitchen for a long time waiting to be picked up before someone realized it wasn't getting to a table. The bar staff offered to have a new one made but it was almost 9pm, so we passed. They took the Filet off the bill but it was a disappointing evening. I had to go somewhere else to finish my dinner. I want to like this place but it's so hit-and-miss. I will give them another visit the next time I'm in town and hopefully things will be better. read more

We have been hearing about this restaurant for years and finally decide to try it as the kids are old enough to appreciate the food/ambiance. The ambiance was amazing as we sat outside just in time to see the sun setting. The service was great and they constantly came by to see how we were doing. We had ordered the cowboy ribeye, filet trios, and the short rib dish. All were so so except the short rib dish which was tasty. We had also ordered the Brussels sprouts side which was amazing. The usual guys working the bar are always great and clearly work well together, but this time there was some new guy who I've never seen before. It was clear that he was completely throwing off the usual flow (seemed like maybe a new manager? Because he wasn't making any drinks). All I could take from it is that there was obvious micromanaging going on and was all up in the other employees space- which made me extremely uncomfortable and tense while trying to enjoy my drink. I could tell other guests were wondering what was going on too. Tempting based on location. Horrible, seriously bad. The service was good, although host and service staff felt distant, not warm, but adequate. The food is below par, far below ok. The filet was ordered as rare, it was served as medium, almost well done. The filet had no seasoning, not even salt and the sear which typically is low pan temp. The Wild Mushroom Risotto was not edible. We sent back the Burratta salad, as it was very watery and looked like wet cottage cheese. Really sad. I hope the Cohn restaraunt group gets this under control as it's a huge punch in the gut and not consistent with their other restaurants. Great location. The wine list was fantastic! Even saw some of my favorites from Napa on the list. We had the octopus, a salad and the filet trio. All were amazing. The octopus was above excellent. It was super tender and the best I have ever had outside of a Michelin Star restaurant. Met a friend for some apps and drinks the next evening. Sat at a booth in the open bar seating . After 10 minutes of negotiation with the hostess we were seated outdoors with a beautiful view. The overall service and food is not the best and would recommend the General Manager to reconsider seriously improvements. PROS Service person Alex is attentive and cordial. Try his best to fix the dinner outcome, but it was already ruined. Ordered the SWEET CHILI CALAMARI sweet chili-citrus glaze, valencia orange aioli, sesame. Ordered the 14 oz. DRY AGED NEW YORK STRIP It was cooked as requested. No WoW, effect. Ordered the BLACKENED SKUNA BAY SALMON with gnocchi it was tasty. Nothing special. Birthday Dessert had a beautiful presentation and it tasted amazing according to the birthday adult. CONS Ordered the 8oz FILET MIGNON OMG! It was not cooked as requested. Plus it look and taste BURNT. It was a piece of meat tasteless and with NO presentation made you ill by looking at it. No rosemary bread was served as a courtesy. We had to requested it. When the server brought it to our table made an announcement with a loud British accent apologizing to make up for it missing the 1st time and the other issue with Filet Mignon. Ordered the ROASTED SMOKED CAULIFLOWER it did Not taste smoke at all. Regular cauliflower flavor. BERRY BERRY CHEESECAKE it was a complementary dessert to make up for the food and the service experience. The cheesecake was not freshly made it was hard as a rock. Another disappointment Overall the server Alex, tried to somehow salvageable our dinner and service experience at 333. Unfortunately, my guest was very disappointed and did not eat her Filet Mignon nor want to order anything else. The charge was removed from the tab. We went here for dinner a few days ago and were hoping to have a better experience. The restaurant itself was very hot and humid and there were flies and gnats in the dining area. The service was very slow, with servers letting us know they were understaffed. While they apologized, it was clear there needs to be better management of their staffing. To add to the experience two of us got food poisoning. I would love to recommend this place because if it's wonderful location, but unfortunately, I just can't. read more
