booked 4US Moving for my move and it was honestly the worst moving experience I have ever had. We were scheduled for a 2-4 PM arrival window, and they did not arrive until almost 7 PM. From the start, it was clear they were unorganized and inexperienced. They moved extremely slow, took constant breaks, and seemed like they didn't know what they were doing. By the time they were done packing the old place, it was already around 11 PM. They told us a large amount of our belongings "didn't fit," so they left a lot of our things behind and barely got anything fully moved. When they arrived at our new house, they suddenly demanded $1,300 and said they would not continue working past midnight because they "wouldn't get paid after 12." They left furniture damaged, broken, chipped, and ripped. Our couches were damaged, furniture corners were chipped, and they didn't properly wrap or protect anything--they basically threw our belongings around carelessly. They also left some of our belongings unfinished and literally left items on the curb outside in the street. To make things worse, the movers stopped to smoke, and our furniture and belongings ended up smelling like weed and cigarettes. It was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Because they failed to finish the job, my partner and I were left putting furniture together and moving things ourselves until 2-3 AM. My daughter didn't even have her crib set up and had to sleep on the floor because they didn't finish their job. They also threatened that if we didn't pay immediately, they would hold our belongings. What should have been an exciting move into our new home turned into a stressful, upsetting nightmare. We tried getting our money back and they gave us the runaround with fake emails and no real resolution. This company is dishonest, unprofessional, and feels like a complete scam. Sometimes you get caught up in performing other tasks that you forget things last minute, like scheduling people to help move furniture and items from your old place to your new one within 24 hours. This was my exact situation not too long ago. Enter 4US Moving. Found these guys through Yelp's "start a project" page. Truthfully, there were other moving companies that messaged me first, but with my mind flying in the air, I never had the chance to review any of them until it was a little under 24 hours before I had to move. What set 4US apart was the fact that when I sent an estimate inquiry at 11pm, they responded within minutes. They gave me a fair estimate, had movers ready to go the next morning, and plenty of reassurances that things will be alright. The next day, moving day arrived. Bright and early, three movers came to my apartment: Ali, Daren, and Nicholas. They were tremendously respectful and considerate from the very beginning. They developed a plan once they got a quick look-around of the apartment, often asked me questions if they weren't sure if something were to be packed or not, and treated my items with care, like it was their own. They wrapped everything, packaged with great care, and silently moved the entire apartment into their truck. Unloading at the new place was even faster! At the end, they even offered for me to check their entire truck to ensure nothing was left behind. Major shoutout to Ali, Daren, and Nicholas. Just wanted to give a big shoutout to 4US Moving, especially Sam and Tony, these guys were incredible. Super professional, fast, and honestly just really solid movers all around. It was just the two of them and they managed to disassemble and move some seriously not easy stuff: our electronic adjustable bed, a big L shaped adjustable standing desk (definitely not your average desk), and a huge dining table. No issues, no complaints, they just got it done. They carefully wrapped everything before transporting, and they were super communicative the whole time. We were moving from a medium sized one bedroom apartment to a spot about 5 miles away (but anyone in LA knows that can feel more like 10 with traffic), and the whole thing took around 6 hours. Honestly, that felt super efficient considering what we had. When we got to the new place, they reassembled everything and did it exactly how we asked. I still don't know how they managed to fit some of that furniture through our new doorway but they made it happen. That's what professionals do. They came prepared with a 26 foot truck, ready to take on whatever. You can tell they really care about their work and about taking care of your stuff. All that for an affordable price. I'm a single man who moved from a 12x12 guest room on the first floor of a house in Irvine to a 1BR apartment on a second floor in Whittier. Moving is always nerve wracking, but Olga, Eli and 4US did exactly what they promised: arriving on time, communicating throughout the scheduling and moving process and handling my move from Orange to L.A. County in less than 4 hours. Eli was very professional and very honest. I have a glass poster frame I smashed packing it into my closet in Irvine and rather than letting me think it was broken on the day of the move, he pointed it out to me. Eli also reassembled my bed frame after striking it down for the move. I appreciate that he did: I'm absolutely terrible at furniture assembly. If you're wondering what a reasonable tip for a mover is, consider how much sweat you're saving not doing this shit yourself. I've rented a truck and begged two buddies to give up their Saturday to help me before and did not want that aggravation again. I'm not 25 anymore and at the same time, have accumulated a lot of more books which are fucking heavy. So I tipped each mover $50 a piece and offered a bottle of Gatorade. I'm no high roller but I appreciate the work these guys do, especially if they're climbing stairs, assembling furniture and they're professional, which 4US was. I have only wonderful things to say about 4USMoving! After a really easy booking process and a text confirmation the day before, we were moved by Mike, Vlad, and Abu, who were the nicest guys and incredibly hard workers. The three of them were working nonstop, taking no breaks, and moving our items with precision and care - every item was double or triple wrapped before being placed in the truck. They only took a short period of time to load our old apartment, but what was really incredible was when we arrived at our new home - they were so attentive and asked us where we wanted every last thing, helped to position furniture and rugs, and were overall just fantastic. At one point, I started to move something myself to help out and they immediately rushed over and told me not to worry about it, to let them do the hard stuff. You really don't see work ethic like that very often, I was so pleasantly surprised. First, movers were a bunch of ex-cons or from prison. Always using foul language and smelled like weed. The phone rep, Ryan Day, even bragged about how the drug screen and background check every mover. They even said that every furniture is extra if it's not on the list, and their list wasn't even my list. I was on the phone with the company and the movers debating the whole time. The job hasn't even started and tips were already being asked. They damaged all my West Elm furniture without protecting the edges or corners. No bubble wrap. No cardboard edge protection. It was very different from the ads. They disassembled my bed frames and used wrong screws back and wondered why the bed can't get assembled again. This move was a scam and I got robbed $850 pluuuusss asking for cash tips for a 3 hours of local move. While on the 3 hour job, they even asked for lunch break. Worst movers ever. I even asked them to stop assembling my bed because they weren't doing it right. Never using this company ever again. read more

The process to book was simple, straight forward and informative from the initial call to the end of the move. The manager let me know she would follow up the day before to go over details again just to double check everything, and she did. She also let me know the drivers would reach out 30minutes before they showed up and they did that too. The guys went over the process with me when they arrived, asked what I needed and walked me through how they would pack the truck. They went over all of the start, end and drive times with me ahead of time, before we got on the road and after they were complete. Rafael and Tal were professional, friendly and quick with the move. Everything was neat, tidy, organized and clean. They packed the boxes with shrink wrap and moving blankets to protect everything. Overall, if I could give more than 5 stars then I would! Thank you to the moving team for helping with my move. The movers arrived on time, were courteous, professional, and worked continuously throughout the job. They quickly developed an efficient system for navigating three flights of stairs without an elevator and handled the move respectfully and carefully. My one suggestion for improvement would be labeling boxes or containers with both the room destination and a brief description of the contents. Since the boxes were not labeled, I have had to open each one to identify what is inside. Can you believe it? It costed me over $2700 to move a 3-bedroom home to a location 3 miles away. 4 movers worked for 8 hours and only moved two-third on the first day, leaving all the remaining furnitures outside of the house over 2 nights. 2 nights later, sent 2 movers to complete the remaining work. But the contract stated that 3 movers would be provided. Even though that only sent 2 movers, they charged me according to the rate for 3 movers. Charged me $778.75 for 2 movers 3 hours work. After movers left, they dumped all the moving materials and waste on my closet including used tape rolls, plastic bags, and wrapping paper. read more
