I am posting this review so other consumers can make an informed decision. I hired 4US Moving for my move and paid an additional $500 for piano delivery to the second floor of my home. The movers were unable to complete the piano delivery and took my piano to their storage facility. I was later told that a specialized piano-moving crew would complete the delivery. I was verbally quoted an additional $500, and I later received an estimate reflecting approximately $500 for delivery and approximately $750 for storage/truck-related charges. When the piano was finally delivered, I was informed at the door that it would cost $2,600 to move the piano to the second floor. I disputed the amount and showed the delivery team the pricing I had previously been given. I was told that if I did not pay, the company would keep my piano and continue charging storage fees. Because I was concerned about losing access to my piano and incurring additional charges, I paid $2,100 simply to have the piano released and delivered to my garage instead of the second floor. The piano was not delivered to the second floor, even though that was the service I had originally paid for. On the first day of moving In my experience, there is serious disconnect between the office and theit delivery team regarding pricing and delivery arrangements and they only want to create more fees. I was presented with charges that were substantially higher than the amounts I had previously been quoted, and I never received a written estimate authorizing the $2,600 charge. Do not use them they cannot be trusted or if you do obtain every estimate, change order, and additional fee in writing before allowing your belongings to be moved. I searched for movers to relocate items from our LA office to another one of our office locations, and the experience was was great from start to finish. Communication was on point. The team of four was professional, efficient, quick, and extremely polit throughout the entire move. They kept us informed by checking in at both the pickup & drop-off locations to ensure everything was handled properly. They were very careful with my boxes and wrapped all my furniture. They asked all the right questions regarding what is fragile and gave recommendations to ensure my things were properly taken care of and not damaged in the move. They works diligently and very quickly - they even asked for the best elevators to use for quicker move time. The location I moved to was 1.5 hours away and once arrived, Tommy ensured I had everything where they needed to be and moved everything until I was happy with the placement. The extra care and consideration for this is everything as I would have hard time rearranging my apartment myself. The biggest reason I chose 4US was because they have TV unmounting and mounting services. I have a large home theater system and they had no issues mounting. 4US is definitely the best value for your money to move all of your items. I sent a text at about 9:00am, for an online quote, and Michael called me instantly with the details and a quote. By 1:30, the movers were here. They worked methodically and meticulously to wrap and pack everything. They moved my elderly mother's apartment contents into the storage unit that I had rented and did this ALL, within 4.5 hours. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking for expert moving. DO NOT hire. I left this a few days ago. Not only were they horrific, they just billed me an extra $1000 that I did not authorize. Please run run run strongly discourage people NOT to hire this place. They were totally unprofessional, moving is already stressful, this made it significantly worse, they were 2 hours late. They were supposed to send a certified handi person, they did not and each item took 1.5-2 hours to move. This add hours and money to the move (also same building move). It was very difficult to get in touch with any prior to the move, so I was unsure that they would show up. Moving is stressful, save yourself more stress. Absolute NO! Adding to my review. I had the worst experience with this company. They don't care about the customer. One of their employees posed as the company Accounting dept to collect funds from me on the moving day. He gave me the wrong payment details and we paid him only to find out 10 minutes later he lied and extorted funds. Then we were advised to pay the company Direct or they would not complete the job. We did and the liar promised to pay Pay back but he never did. The guy got fired from the company. Big deal. What about my $1100?!!!. 4US Moving proved that it has no moral compass. They have no concerns to pay me back the money out of my pocket. It's not my fault that they hired a loser who wore their logo on his shirt and extorted money from me. Extremely frustrated. They scheduled for 8-10a arrival, then called me the evening before to re-schedule to 2-4p. They arrived at 4:30. I was extremely late picking up my child, which I told them multiple times was critical to me. It was a minimum 3 hour move that I said was at most 2 hours. I ended up spending the entire morning and afternoon doing more than half the move by myself since they couldn't adhere to the originally scheduled time and kept running later and later. I paid them for 3 hours on a promise of 2 and it ended up being 1 hour because I did what I hired them to do myself. I'm not a newbie to moving. I used to move every year or so before owning a house, and hired multiple companies over the years. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had. My Opinion based on my nightmare experience. Horrible company!!! Stay away!!! Do Not Hire this company!!! Do not use their private storage!!! This company is malicious, nightmare fraudsters! They have horrid, non-existent customer service. They will lie to you and use delay tactics and hold your property hostage in order to charge you more money than originally agreed to! Just read their reviews! Even if you pay them in full, they will make up a reason to keep your belongings in order to maliciously and fraudulently charge you more money as is the case with me. If you do not pay their extortion fee they threaten to dispose of your belongings even though you already paid them in full! Please let me tell you my true story! On October 17th, 2025, i made arrangements for 4US MOVING Llc., to pick up my belongings and store them at their facility. I paid a deposit of $100., and we made arrangements for them to pick up my belongings and take them to their private storage! Huge mistake on my part. I should have read their bad reviews! Read & listen to their bad reviews. So on October 29th, 2025, they picked up my belongings from Glendale, California and they took them to their storage. I was not present, i was out of town on an emergency. The problem started on December 22nd 2025 when i called them to make arrangements to pick up my stuff. I had to call multiple times without success, since December 22nd, 2025, until February 17th 2026, to make arrangements for my belongings. As of today , 2026, i still haven't received my belongings and i paid them $2858., on February 22nd, 2026. That was the full payment. I called and called and i spoke to Ed and Jess and they never gave me an answer as to how i would go about getting my belongings. Since December 22nd up until February 17th 2026 when i spoke to Max i never got a call back to get an answer to my questions and requests as promised by their customer service reps. Turns out they were using delaying tactics to keep my property in their storage in order to keep on charging me $350., per month for a small number of belongings. Finally, i call and get a hold of the supervisor/co-owner Max B. Max was not: helpful, logical, understanding, reasonable or sympathetic to me at all. He had a rude and brash attitude. Horrible customer service. My issue at that time was that i was being charged $350x2 = $700, for the month of January and February 2026. I felt that i shouldn't have to pay those storage fees because i had been requesting my belongings since December 22nd, 2025, and i was never told or received a return call on how to go about getting my belongings until i called and reached Max on February 17th, 2026. After a lot of arguing and a lot of back and forth and lack of logical understanding by Max B., the Supervisor/co-owner, i gave in and agreed to pay for the extra $700., that i disputed. I figured, i'd just sue them in small claims and get my money back then. So, i make an appointment for my belongings to be delivered and released to me on February 22nd, 2026. The crew arrives and they told me the total would be: $516 for pick up labor plus $50 one-time labor fee plus $1400., in storage fees from October 29th, 2025, up until February 28th, 2026. Remember that $700., of that i disputed. Plus, it was another $516., in delivery labor plus another one-time labor fee of $50. Plus $284 in credit card processing fee. Total paid on February 22nd, 2026, was $2858 when my balance should have been under $2158. REAL NIGHTMARE STARTS HERE: So, after i paid them and signed their contract under duress. Which the contract was dated on October 29th, 2025, and i was forced to sign it on February 22nd, 2026. Or else they wouldn't release my belongings to me. The contract was digital so i will get the digital date for the judge to see. I am having to sue them. So, after I pay $2858., they tell me that they can't release my belongings to me, because i paid with a "virtual card" and it didn't have my name on it. They told me this after i paid, after they accepted and kept my money and they refused to refund me so i get them a physical card. They never told me virtual cards were not accepted, and they do not state it in any contract that i signed under duress/under protest! So, i say "ok. please refund me so i can get you a physical card." They were supposedly worried that since the card didn't have my name on it, i could dispute the fee and get a free service. However, that is malarkey because they had a signed contract from me, they had my address and they could have of sued me for the money in small claims, had they needed too. Plus, they refused to refund me so i could get them a physical card. Even then, i explained to them that even with a physical card, one could still dispute the charges, so their argument was not only obtuse, it lacked sound logic. I ran out of space. To be continued. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING SERVICE. You've been warned. This was hands down the most disrespectful, exhausting, and unprofessional experience I've ever had with a moving company. Three hours late. I was told the movers would arrive between 1-2 PM. They showed up at 5 PM and didn't finish until 1 AM -- for a two-bedroom, two-bath move. They moved incredibly slowly. One mover touched the same item five times without moving it. They kept complaining about the size of the job, even though I listed every major item in the booking form. Repeated demands for payment before finishing. The movers demanded full payment: * Before even leaving the first location, * Again upon arriving at the second, * And again mid-way through unloading -- with over 90 minutes of work still left. When I told them I don't release payment until the work is done, they told me "it's in the contract." But: That term was never disclosed at booking. It was not explained to me on-site. I was never given a chance to review the actual contract. When they arrived, they only showed me where to sign -- the signature boxes -- and did not show or explain the full contract. I believe that payment-before-performance clause is unconscionable under California law, especially when no actual review or explanation was provided. Aggressive behavior and physical interference. When I declined to pay before completion, they refused to continue. One worker physically blocked me from leaving the elevator. Later, while I was retrieving my items, he pulled up the ramp on the moving truck, trapping me -- and I had to jump down to exit. When I grabbed a box I believed was mine, he reached in and pulled at the contents without explanation. It turned out to be his jacket, which I immediately returned once he said so -- but again, he led with force, not communication. Payment and threats. Even after I counted out $1,800 in cash -- $400 over the original quote -- they stalled. I threw the money on the floor and told them to finish. They still refused for 30 minutes until I told them I was calling the police. Even then, they continued to posture and argue. They tried to demand even more money, despite being already overpaid and tipped. Ultimately, I had to call the police. They left before officers arrived. The lead worker refused to give me his name, but I took a photo of him. Final discovery? While doing a final walk-through of the truck, I found my brand new white Air Maxes still onboard -- unreturned. Oh and they didn't bring enough boxes. Many of my items had to be left behind because they were unprepared, and they broke my bookcase and they left a lot of trash (plastic taken off furniture that should have been disposed of) in my new unit. If you care about your peace, your property, and your dignity, do not use this company. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. 0 Stars, actually negative 5. Like many others have reported, our movers were about a half hour beyond our delivery window, but they WERE considerate enough to call to let us know they would be late. Traffic in LA is unpredictable, so I can't fault them too much here. One of our movers wore shorts & sandals, which I thought was a bit dangerous. He was a big guy though, and it didn't seem to hinder him, or slow him down in any way. Both movers did a great job of moving, loading, unloading, and staging our furniture/ boxes & were both courteous & friendly. Job itself, no complaints. Things get a little dicey on the price/ payment end of things. We were given a total after the job was complete. I asked whether I could pay be credit card & was told it would then include a 10% convenience charge, but they accept Zelle as an alternative. I opted for Zelle, but somehow the total increased by, you guessed it, 10%. I didn't want to stir up any trouble. Unfortunately, the new total was a few bucks more than Zelle would allow, so I paid the max allowable through Zelle, slapped the mover a $20 to cover the remainder, and gave them $100 cash tip. Later that afternoon/ evening we received an email receipt, stating they received our "original amount" (pre-10% added) via Zelle. I responded to the email asking for an accurate receipt (twice now), and have filled out the form on the website requesting the same. Seem to have been ghosted by these guys on that front. In a nutshell, the movers are great. The billing/ office, not so much. For these reasons (at this time), I cannot recommend them, nor would I use them again. read more

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!!! I write this with the hopes that you don't make the same mistake of using this company. Don't decide based on the positive reviews. Negative reviews lend more credence and is actually more helpful making a choice. I first spoke to Anthony, a seasoned sales person. I just wanted a quote for a move. The first thing he asked me was whether I had asked for quotes from other moving companies, and then pointed out that 4US Moving had overwhelmingly 5 star reviews. This move was not for me but for a relative who was under extreme pressure to move or be evicted. I was also under pressure to help her find another rental, and a moving company. Anthony told me he only needed one day notice, quoted me $229/hr for 4 people. The woman moving is disabled, wheelchair bound, and 88 years old. I explained to Anthony that because for months she was looking for a place where her wheelchair would clear entrances while being threatened with eviction. Her caregiver was already weeks ahead packing most things so the movers did not have to provide boxes and packed even though they offered. Here's the con man telling me, to pay by credit card a non refundable sort of initiation or administrative fee of $50, and pay the movers in cash. He reminded me to pay the movers in cash. This is how they got credit card information. I had set aside 4-6 hours of work to complete the job. The house from where furniture and personal effects were being moved out of is located in a quiet neighborhood in Valley Glen with ample parking. The truck was in the driveway, most small items packed and standard furniture where ready to be hauled in the truck. According to the caregiver the men obviously slowed down the process, ransacked drawers, and did not handle fragile items with care. One was constantly on the phone, the others required supervision and clearly were not experienced movers who should plan the sensible order by which items go in the truck. They had to make two trips because they didn't bring a large enough truck even tho they knew in advance the scope of work. In the new place, they dumped everything except the beds in the garage which became a mountain of household effects. The disabled lady's commode was thrown in the very top of the pile. It was just horrendous, unprofessional, painfully slow to rack up the hours. It was late in the night after the caregiver begged and begged them to hurry, did they finish moving from old house and dumping into the new house. They did not leave any paperwork at all. The caregiver, had $1000 which she was handing it to the men, she but they refused and left. If the charge was more we never were advised because again no paperwork was left A few days later, 2 charges appeared on my credit card $1975 and $2759, almost $5000! The landlady of the old house called me that her ring doorbell was missing and would be charging us for it. I am sure one of the unprofessional movers took it. The landlady also noted that a bedframe and floor heaters were left behind. It's so outrageous. I texted Max who was probably one of the principal people and told him that they took advantage of an elderly and disabled woman, already distressed about being uprooted, by their horrible service and their monetary dishonesty. We did not receive any post move paperwork, they dumped into a pile the boxes and overcharged us egregiously. This company does not deserve your business. Now here are the details and please tell me if what they charged is right: The houses are about 5 miles from each other. The household items were standard for a 1600 SQ ft home, 3 bedrooms. The only appliances the moved were the washing machine and dryer which were stored in the garage, so no need to disconnect lines. We packed all the boxes, they didn't pack. The house is single level, no stairs in a residential area where they can safety park and load. The new home is also in a quiet neighborhood very near. Also single level. This was a very straightforward move. They could have done the right thing, do what they were contracted to do with the highest level of promptness, professionalism and expertise is moving. Instead they hired truly like people off the street, who didn't know a thing about moving and then they took it further by charging almost $5000 for a local move. You be the judge, reader and potential client. Am I wrong? I have moved before, and used a moving company. I paid $954 for 2000 SQ ft move. This includes bubble wrapping art work. This was in 2022. When the job was finished the manager who was overseeing the move gave me paperwork and asked for payment. It was transparent. That's how it's supposed to be. I used 4UsMoving this weekend and they were AWFUL. 1. Eli was constantly yelling at his employees. There were several times it almost got physical. I asked them on at least six occasions to please stop yelling. I was so uncomfortable that I had to call a friend to come over because I didn't want to be alone with the guys. 2. The guys broke, scratched, damaged or lost tens of thousands of dollars worth of items including: art, furniture, antique clocks (two of them), vases, barware, dishes, AppleTv, and all three remotes for the televisions are gone. 3. One of the guys on the team begged me not to tip Eli and to please tip individually because he thought Eli would "steal his cash." 4. The team spent 1/3 of their time smoking, fighting, or complaining. Additionally, they left urine all over the toilets and floors in two of my bathrooms. Gross!! Eli knew that there were a lot of problems with the move. He saw many of the broken items. He still charged me full price for the day, with zero offer to reimburse my losses. He pressured me to pay him on the spot and sign the paperwork. I hesitated, but after the way I saw him screaming at and threatening his crew, I was scared and did. Do not use these movers and go through what I have been through. Hire ANYONE else to do a better job for you. Note: This is my second time using these guys. Eli and his crew were great. They were on time, and the communication was easy. The move was quick and efficient. I hired three movers, moved from a 3rd-floor apartment, stopped at storage nearby to pick up more stuff, and moved into a place 50 mins away. The whole process took about five hours. The bill plus tip (I tipped them $160) came out to be $960. It took a bit longer, and that's because my last place (3rd-floor apartment) had an elevator that was kind of far, and the movers had to go around every time. 4US Moving - 4US moving is the best! - Movers Near Me - Los Angeles, California

#1: Three movers showed up and one of the guys, who acted as the team lead, went over the contract with me. He only wanted signatures, so he forced me to sign the contract before I had a chance to read it all the way through. So of course, I wanted a copy of what I just signed. After he reviewed the fridge's specs, he claimed that since it weighs more than 250 pounds, he would need to charge an extra $100 to pick it up. I replied, "no it is okay, the fridge does not have to be taken, but can i please just see the contract since i never got the contract I just signed today." I asked him explicitly where it states that there is a weight restriction for the refrigerator after looking over the contract. Then, with his phone out, he aggressively pointed to the contract and exclaimed "You see this? Do you think I am lying to you?" He then walked away from me without me acknowledging the contract and I overheard him tell two of my family members, "Hey that guy thinks I am lying to him about the fridge. He thinks I am a liar." I then confronted him telling him when did I ever accuse him of lying. He then just said, "oh okay I will tell my manager." First of all, I never accused him of being a liar. Why would I sign a contract without me going over it? Per definition, a contract is a legally binding agreement between two or more parties. He just wanted me to sign and not go over the contract? if there were discrepancies, should he just sweep them under the rug? Not one apology for being disrespectful. #2 bad body odor hygiene #3: Be careful about giving tips in person: I gave each of the three movers cash tips. The same guy in #1 "lost the tip" within five minutes of receiving it, and they searched the house like they owned it. I'm not saying they took anything but lingered around the house longer after already getting paid. If you lose money, the first thing you usually do is look back at where you came from and check your trails again. They didn't even look on the ground once; they were checking between and under our items. For example, literally picking up an a lamp to see if it was under the lamp OR checking behind a treadmill where there's no way they could have walked behind the area. My family and I have thoroughly searched the area this morning, but we haven't found any cash at all. So kudos to the guy #1 for getting two tips. They moved items/boxes/furniture for over 5 hours and did not drop a single item, they get a paper bill and they lose it within 5 minutes. make it make sense. read more

I put a request for movers through Yelp Sunday night and they responded very quickly the following morning with their rates, services, and availability in detail. After I reached out to start the process, it was super easy to fill out the form and schedule the move date. The movers were very helpful, friendly, and professional. They called me as they were en route with an ETA, arrived promptly, and packed everything we had with care and efficiency. Their services included all the shrink wrap and padding so our goods were not damaged during transportation. We actually had an additional stop to pick up additional items for moving and they were very thorough with that location as well, making sure that everything we wanted to move was packed up in their truck. Upon arrival of our final stop, they unloaded everything from the truck and placed them inside the house in no time at all! I'm very pleased with the entire process from start to finish. Truly awful experience. As with all previous moves I've, done $US did not do a visit to location to estimate cost nor a video walk through to do estimate. " OwnerEstimate" only quoted the $18.50 per hour rate for 3 "PROFESSIONAL"Movers. I got a foreman who was not supervisor level quality and two guys each at most 20 years old who weren't professional movers , hadn't any idea how to organize nor pack and were very very slow packing and moving. They didn't even use a "Speed Pack" ...everything trip after trip on hand cart or carriers. They didn't label boxes beyond what room they went into so I had/have no idea of contents. They packed kitchen pantry items mixed together and without taping closed containers ... example so salt, pepper, spies etc. spliced all over paper wrapped in jumble mess. Worst was the obvious "Opaque Estimate" which said repeatedly $179 hour 3 "professional movers", $50 dollar deposit, $5 each small boxes, $6,00 each medium, 5 free boxes-use their boxes wardrobes free, Blankets and shrink wrap included. Absolutely Nothing said about all the HIDDEN CHARGES which cost a fortune, 10 minute break every two hours, overtime at time and a half after 8 hours - ran up to 2.5 hours OT just packing day one and moving in day 2. (Which were result of poor disorganized slow work) and the topper was a 10% surcharge for using a Credit Card to Pay ! On day two after that shock for the outrageous 10% credit card up charge, I tried to write a check and he refused check "only cash", again not advised of that and I didn't have $3,229 in cash just sitting in my purse! I asked for an itemized invoice...did not get it. I moved 2.2 miles and the Total Bill was $6,227.21! Do not Use This 4Us Moving Company! Not only did I overpay by a lot, its made unpacking and organizing my new place a Huge "find the items needed because contents of boxes not labeled" causing me to hire more help to just sort and organize into my new home. read more
