He came here during Cinco de Mayo and taco Tuesday. It was really busy and our server did a great job of helping us. The food was really yummy and I thoroughly enjoyed the unlimited taco bar. I wish we had gotten there a little bit earlier so that we could try some of the Menudo but there's always next time! I wish I had taken more pictures. The ambience is nice and there is plenty of space in the restaurant. I would love to come back when it is not so busy.

Came here for my birthday dinner and this place was so cute and the food and drinks were good. I look forward to come back for Michelada and margeritas and hopefully we can try there brunch and taco events.

You can't beat the food and the price for the weekend buffet. Moles, tacos, handmade tortillas cooked right in front of you, Pozole, Menudo, chile colorado....so much good stuff!!

Good food and drinks! Cool all you can eat concept and nice people! Upon entering a pretty spacious restaurant! Has a full bar and is much bigger than expected We were seated right away I will start by saying I believe this place shines with its all you can eat taco bar first and for most The food itself was good! Just think the star of the show is the all you can eat aspect to it Reasonable price too at that. Our wait time for drinks was a bit longer than I would have liked but the drinks themselves were good Nothing exceptional though The staff was very nice! If you've been to the Walnut Creek 5 tacos and beer this is definitely different not bad just different than this location Still would return non the less!

AYCE Taco Tuesday did not disappoint! Not crowded since we went on a rainy Tuesday. Great service. The choices available were chicken, several various pork (all good, i can't remember the names) and a delicious vegetable one. The Vegetable one was my favorite regarding flavor. The topping bar had raw diced onions, grilled onions (sooo good) peppers and 2 salsas to choose from. They also served beans. I would definitely revisit. I had 8 tacos, pure gluttony The place was clean, the serving station was clean. Overall, It was a fun experience. Will definitely be going back! Oh, the Strawberry Agua Fresca was yumm!

I came here on a Sunday afternoon around 3:15 PM -- right after their breakfast/brunch buffet had ended at 3 PM (not totally sure which it's considered). Unfortunately, we had just missed it. I ordered the shrimp plate, and I was told I got the last pieces of shrimp available. I wasn't sure how to feel about that since a meal period had just ended -- maybe they ran out -- but just a heads up in case that's something that happens occasionally. That said, the shrimp plate was very delicious and came with a side of tortillas. My friend ordered the quesabirria plate, and while the main dishes were enjoyable, we weren't big fans of the chips and salsa. The chips were a little oily, and the green salsa was a bit runny -- I definitely preferred the red salsa. Overall, the vibe was nice. It's located downtown, so weekend parking can be a little tricky near the restaurant, but the place itself is very big and spacious, with the option to sit at the bar. Service was quick and attentive, and the menu has lots of variety. I plan to come back another time, especially since they host different themed days and events throughout the week -- I've heard about Taco Tuesday and would like to check that out.

Heard a lot about their Tuesdays and decided to try the weekend brunch. The place is clean and they have a variety of options to choose from. Since it's our first time, we opted for the AYCE and it was great. Everything was great... especially the coffee, mole, and fresh tortillas. Leticia was our server and she's wonderful! We would definitely come back again.

AYCE QUESATACOS! YAS! Immediately walking in I was excited, the beautiful interior, the detail to platting on the buffet table, and the passionate host we had was (chefs kiss). They had three options for tacos: beef, chicken, and vegetable (sweet potato). It did lack the QUESA in quesatacos but for AYCE for $19, I'll take it. I also tried their horchata, wasn't my favorite here unfortunately. It was really grainy than what I was personally used to but was still good. Once you get your wristband you are free to go grab as many tacos, rice, bean, salsa, consomé as you like. What really stood out to me was how they didn't seat parties directly next to each other. It felt nice not having to squeeze around strangers to eat comfortably. Give it a try!

    Tacos, no beef.

Went for lunch with the wife, the service was fine, the waiter seemed new. The food was ok, nothing special, it was all you can eat tacos. The first batch was good the next go round the food was low and all we got were scraps and the tortillas were hammered. Also food safety wise they should use disposable gloves for the patrons to use when handling the tongs. The ambiance was ok. It was decent visit nothing special. No reason to go back. Oh and the lemonade was not good.

This place is really good. I have been here a few times and food has always been great. One thing I noticed though is they arent very organized. They can get really busy and forget you checked in with a reservation and seat people who came after you without one. Its probably happened twice to me where id have to remind them we've been waiting. Other than that, its a vibe.

Wow! What an unexpectedly good treat! We stopped in here simply because of the sign. "AYE Tacos" Nuff said! Despite my trepidations, the experience turned out to be really good. The entrance is near the bar, with plenty of seating but tables are not so close that it's hard to move around. The hostess quickly found us a seat and our waitress came by very shortly afterward to tale our order. The waitress was extremely personable and attentive. She took time to answer all of our questions and get us set up for the buffet. The tacos were really good. They had chicken, steak, and even a vegetarian option. Plenty of toppings to add to the flavors. After getting our plates, we proceeded to eat ourselves into a stupor. The only downside was when we tried the tres leche cake for dessert. It was rather dry and did not appear to be cooked well, as there was a really hard section of dough. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she took it back and removed it from our bill without any hesitation. Great customer service! I can't wait for the next visit to this place, because we will definitely be back!

We were in the area today and decided to give it a try. All you can eat birria tacos for 19.00 per person. Buffet comes with beef birria, chicken birria, veggie birria, rice, beans and toppings. Tacos were made from mini corn shells. Meat was flavorless, little cheese. Not true birria tacos at all. Rice was great! Now on to the cleanliness- the two cooks were observed repeatedly touching clothing, face, phones, walking to the back, non food items in the cooking area with the SAME DAMN GLOVES ON. I'm sorry but this is a pet peeve. Who ever the waitress was that I told went back and told them about changing their gloves, but I also saw her laugh with them as if it was a joke. Now when someone gets sick from cross contamination you know why. I mean this is a restaurant , so certain standards should apply. I won't be back here because in my opinion it's not worth it for the food taste and it gave me vibes like they don't wash their hands. Do they have food handlers cards? I doubt it!!

Delicious variety of tacos, all top notch: crispy, soft, all the meats, and quesabirria! The rice is cilantro lime, refreshing for the strong flavored tacos, and the beans are soooo creamy! The drinks are beer and tequila signature cocktails, and both lists are long and inventive. We had the best time, and our server gave us the most attentive service we've had in a long time. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, and makes you want to stay and keep drinking and eating. I'm looking forward to many visits!

Ask the Community - 5 Tacos & Beer

Is this a family friendly place?

When we went there were no families with small children. Perhaps if you go a bit later the initial brunch crowd has thinned out. It's not a very big place it is a bit noisy.

    Do they have Birria tacos?

For all you can eat they switch through meats as one empties. They had them the night I went so I'm sure other days they should typically have them as well.

How much is the weekend brunch? Are the same foods offered as the Tuesday Buffet?

The brunch was $25 per person when I went. I haven't been on Tuesday, so I can't answer that question.

Do they have all you can eat & how much?

I was there on Tuesday, January 7 for what I think was their first all you can eat taco Tuesday. The taco buffet cost $15, and they had four types of tacos including one vegetarian option. It was great!

I wanted to love this place but the plant-based options were limited to bar snacks: cauliflower bites, fries, hummus, a single salad, and mac and cheese. What's frustrating isn't just the selection, but the missed potential. Not one veggie sandwich option. The stuffed peppers could easily have a meatless version; the Brussels sprouts didn't need bacon; the farmers market salad could offer prosciutto as an add-on rather than a default. Small tweaks, big difference. A little more intentionality here would go a long way. On the bright side, the bourbon flights are a real highlight, and the space itself is a win - open, airy, and flooded with natural light, making it perfect for happy hour. The gastro pub vibe is genuinely cool, and you can tell this place has a lot of potential. Meat eaters and whiskey fans will love it here. Vegetarians, though, will find themselves grazing on sides and calling it a meal. If you're plant-based, my advice: grab dinner somewhere else first, then come here for the cocktails - because those, at least, won't disappoint.
