Instead of the usual soft, blended filling, this one had real texture. Crisp cabbage, bright carrots, bean sprouts that still had snap -- the veggies actually had life. The pork was tender and mild, and the whole mix wrapped up beautifully in the pancakes with a swipe of hoisin. Corner Cafe isn't trying to reinvent anything. So I switched over to eating that instead of the barbecue pork. I haven't tried much else yet. The lo mein and rice are okay. The soda machine has been out of order for the last two visits. That kinda sucks considering to tack on a soda it's only a dollar more (which is cheaper than most sodas elsewhere). They do have cans of soda, but charge more and you get equal or less soda than from the fountain. Despite the few problems, their food is decent for fast food style Chinese food. I wouldn't drive out of my way to go here. But if I am in the area, it's worth a stop. The parking lot gets busy but I usually find a spot. And the customer service is good.
