I have been here now twice and each time has been different. The restaurant does a good job of social distancing and not allow people to dine inside. There are a couple of tables on the outside where people can sit. The street is blocked off on Pine, so you would have to park on third but parking is pretty easy. I think prices are a little high for the quality of bagels that you get. They charge ridiculous of charge for cream cheese spreads. I have tried the lox bagel and I have also had the turkey and bacon bagel. I felt like both were decent. However, I felt the salmon could've been fresher. Same thing with the turkey sandwich I felt like the turkey was dry. Service is pretty good, but sometimes I can get behind and you can end of waiting for 15 minutes. Also I think this is just a preference thing but I did try the kumquat tea and I did not like it. Overall is the closest bagel shops where I live, so I'm sure I'll pop in from time to time. But I think I'll just keep it simple and grab a bagel and some spread. read more

The bagels were good quality, and the service was solid. They appeared to have a new staff member who was quite friendly and chipper. I thought the pricing was a bit vague, for the baker's dozen there is a gourmet price of $18.99, which is $2 more expensive than the regular baker's dozen pricing. It doesn't indicate which bagels comprise gourmet pricing though, and I was a bit surprised that everything bagels bumped the order up to gourmet pricing. I also was a little surprised that cream cheese is not included in the pricing for a baker's dozen, and I did not see on the menu pricing for a tub of cream cheese. Such a cute bagel place. I love being walking distance because this place really feels like the neighborhood coffee shops you see on tv. The employees start remembering you if you are a regular and even know your order. They are always so positive. I love this place! The energy is so good and every time I leave I have a smile on my face. Their bagels are awesome!!! I love their mochas and if you are more health conscious they have fresh squeezed juice. So grateful this place is only a block away; everything is delicious and the menu is very diverse! Lots to choose from! I got their tuna salad sandwich on a croissant today and it was so delicious. I've had their Everything Bagel, Cinnamon Raisin Bagel and Garlic Bagel. So delicious and fresh! They also have FRESH juices and healthy smoothies. It's usually always busy but the staff works really fast and is always really courteous and cool. I especially appreciate the young guy that works the register sometimes, very chill and calm vibe! And they let me take my chihuahua inside which is a plus, while I wait for my food. I go here every other day and always look forward to it. They do close early because it's more of a breakfast / lunch place, but their prices are awesome for being directly downtown. The last of a dying breed! read more

I love this place and I really wish I could give them 5 stars. This past week I've ordered from here 3 times (that's how good they are) but all except one time, my order has been incorrect. I ordered a lox spread on asiago for the delivery the first time and received chive spread (which costs less). Second time, I ordered pickup and it was perfect! Third time, I ordered lox spread on asiago for delivery and received some kind of spinach bagel. And there's been less lox in the lox spread. I would visit again if I were in the area! I think I was expecting more flavor from my cheddar jalapeno bagel, but the sandwich as a whole was yummy. They actually cook their bacon to a crisp!!! I was in Torrance when a *serious* craving for a bagel sandwich hit. After perusing Yelp for the best bagel in the area, I decided to drive about 20 minutes for the highest rated spot we could find. We arrived a little less than an hour before closing time, but they still had a handful of bagels left and I got exactly what I was looking for: the heavenly veggie on a water bagel. This bagel sammie came with cream cheese, tomato, red onion, avocado, and sprouts and it totally hit the spot. It was $7 and came with a soft drink, so I would consider this a really good lunch deal as well. So, why three stars? Mostly COVID precautions (or lack thereof), unfortunately. The man who took our order wasn't wearing a mask when we walked in and then removed it again while we were still inside. My partner and I both needed to use the restroom, and they have an old dirty plastic key that you have to bring in and out with you. There's nowhere really to put it when you're in the restroom, and the thought of washing my hands and then picking that thing back up to return it really grossed me out. Lastly, my partner got a soft drink but the straws were just out and unwrapped, so he didn't grab one. Bummed to see it 'cause this spot has great bagels, but I hope this biz takes their precautions a little more seriously moving forward. read more

Hands down the best bagel I've ever had... EVER! Someone brought these bagels to a gathering and I had to text the host the following day to ask her to please find out where the bagels were from. The bagel place is 70 miles round-trip from my home but I will definitely be driving back to get some bagels. I had an everything bagel (the works) and there was such a generous amount of seasoning on the top and the bottom, but even if it did not have the seasoning, the bagel itself was so tasty!
